In this paper we present preliminary results of the multi-fractal analysis for describing the behavior of turbulence evolution in the wake behind two model wind turbines using the program ImaCal. The wind energy is an important component of renewable energy sources. Nowadays the research community focuses on studying the turbulent wakes behind wind turbines and its interactions with the Atmospheric Boundary Layer. For finding the fractal dimension a multi-fractal analysis was performed using the results of a numerical simulation of the flow over two model wind turbines. The latter was carried out by means of the Large Eddy method with the Lagrangian Dynamic Smagorinsky subgrid model. The SOWFA library was employed as a part of OpenFoam software to perform the simulation.

Context: A mutant is a program obtained by syntactically modifying a program’s source code;an equivalent mutant is a mutant, which is functionally equivalent to the original program. Mutants are primarily used in mutation testing, and when deriving a test suite, obtaining an equivalent mutant is considered to be highly negative, although these equivalent mutants could be used for other purposes. Objective: We present an approach that considers equivalent mutants valuable, and utilizes them for source code optimization. Source code optimization enhances a program’s source code preserving its behavior. Method: We showcase a procedure to achieve source code optimization based on equivalent mutants and discuss proper mutation operators. Results: Experimental evaluation with Java and C programs demonstrates the applicability of the proposed approach. Conclusion: An algorithmic approach for source code optimization using equivalent mutants is proposed. It is showcased that whenever applicable, the approach can outperform traditional compiler optimizations. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

To extract feature parameters of Pseudo-code binary phase modulation combined with sine frequency modulation continuous wave(PRBC-SFMCW), the linear decomposition techniques using Quadrature Mirror Filter Bank Tree (QMFBT) is adopted. With this method, the intercepted signal is decomposed and analyzed by QMFBT. Then according to the feature of PRBC-SFMCW signal contained in different time-frequency layers the algorithm of feature parameter extraction on an appropriate time-frequency layer is presented. The analysis and simulation results show that the SNR of PRBC-SFMCW signal is improved after decomposition. At the same time, the across section disappear and parameters can be estimated accurately in a low SNR condition.

A substantial data volume growth will appear with the start of the HL-LHC era. It is not well covered by the current LHC computing model, even taking into account the hardware evolution. The WLCG DOMA project was established to provide data management and storage researches. National data lake r&d's, as a part of the DOMA project, should address the study of possible technology solutions for the organization of intelligent distributed federated storage. This talk will present the current status of the Russian Scientific Data lake prototype and the methodology, which is used for the validation and functional testing of deployed infrastructure. Inspired by a recent breakthrough of Mishchenko et al. [2022], who for the first time showed that local gradient steps can lead to provable communication acceleration, we propose an alternative algorithm which obtains the same communication acceleration as their method (ProxSkip). Our approach is very different, however: it is based on the celebrated method of Chambolle and Pock [2011], with several nontrivial modifications: i) we allow for an inexact computation of the prox operator of a certain smooth strongly convex function via a suitable gradient-based method (e.g., GD, Fast GD or FSFOM), ii) we perform a careful modification of the dual update step in order to retain linear convergence. Our general results offer the new state-of-the-art rates for the class of strongly convex-concave saddle-point problems with bilinear coupling characterized by the absence of smoothness in the dual function. When applied to federated learning, we obtain a theoretically better alternative to ProxSkip: our method requires fewer local steps (O(k1/3) or O(k1/4), compared to O(k1/2) of ProxSkip), and performs a deterministic number of local steps instead. Like ProxSkip, our method can be applied to optimization over a connected network, and we obtain theoretical improvements here as well.

Results of QGD (quasi-gas dynamics) equations approximation using OpenFOAM Finite Volume Method library are presented. The new developed solver QGDFoam compared to standard OpenFOAM solver rhoCentralFoam. Two approaches for the approximation of QGD terms are considered and compared - (1) least square method and (2) face normal derivative. Qualitative analysis showed that the first approach is more accurate compared with the second one and is preferable for reproducing complex shock interactions during unsteady flow. It was shown that the second approach produces the solution, similar to rhoCentralFoam solver with upwind interpolation. Being more diffusive than rhoCentralFoam solver with TVD schemes, QGDFoam, allows, however, to reproduce flows at wider Mach number range without introducing too much numerical diffusion comparing to upwind interpolation. Parallel scalability of developed solver has been checked. It scales for meshes down to approximately 1000 cells per node.

Several instances of pneumonia with no clear etiology were recorded in Wuhan,China,on December 31,*** world health organization(WHO)called it COVID-19 that stands for“Coronavirus Disease 2019,”which is the second version of the previously known severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS)Coronavirus and identified in short as(SARSCoV-2).There have been regular restrictions to avoid the infection spread in all countries,including Saudi *** prediction of new cases of infections is crucial for authorities to get ready for early handling of the virus ***:Analysis and forecasting of epidemic patterns in new SARSCoV-2 positive patients are presented in this research using metaheuristic optimization and long short-term memory(LSTM).The optimization method employed for optimizing the parameters of LSTM is Al-Biruni Earth Radius(BER)***:To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology,a dataset is collected based on the recorded cases in Saudi Arabia between March 7^(th),2020 and July 13^(th),*** addition,six regression models were included in the conducted experiments to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed *** achieved results show that the proposed approach could reduce the mean square error(MSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and R^(2)by 5.92%,3.66%,and 39.44%,respectively,when compared with the six base *** the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to measure the significance of the proposed ***:The achieved results confirm the effectiveness,superiority,and significance of the proposed approach in predicting the infection cases of COVID-19.

In this paper, we discuss the design of a system for crop forecasting. Despite the presence of a fairly large number of software products for precision farming on the market, many of the existing developments, on the one hand, are not intended to provide data for further analysis by specialists who are not employees of the developer company, and on the other hand, do not ensure food security of the Russian Federation. We have designed a system for the acquisition and subsequent analysis of aerial photographic data. The paper describes the method of presenting data, the process of calculating vegetation indices for a certain date, and provides approaches to modeling the vegetation process using high-quality determinate mathematical models and predicting the yield of a field in the next season, and the cost of this crop. We discuss the opportunities of our system and show the ways of further increasing its quality.

Cloud storages delivered as services are made available to the general public. As cloud storage provider prices become low, they have moved into the mainstream of storage technology. However, there are various factors that cause many potential users do not use it intensively. There exist high risks for confidentiality, integrity, and availability violation associated with the loss of information, denial of access, technical failures, etc. In this article, we propose a two-level secret sharing scheme (TL-SSS) based on a residue number system (RNS) for a configurable, reliable, and secure distributed data storage. RNS moduli of a special type increase the reliability of the data storage system and reduce the computational complexity of the data encoding and decoding from linear-logarithmic to linear. TL-SSS is the weighted data access structure. It creates and distributes data shares according to the characteristics of the cloud storages under various scenarios. We provide a solution that improves system reliability without reduction of the security level. In contrast to classical solutions, it can restore the data with less available shares than the state-of-the-art approaches.

The paper deals with the issue of language data visualization on the website "Minority languages of Russia". This site is created as an open information resource containing materials on the functioning and structure of minority languages of Russia and their local varieties. Methods of data visualization in five areas are considered: genealogy, areal distribution, domains of language usage, dynamics of language usage and phonetic data representation. For each area, theoretical problems, related tasks and technical implementation are indicated, and prospects for further work are discussed. © 2020 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
