A novel three-layer sub-harmonic synchronous machine is proposed, equipped with consequent permanent magnets and windings for superior torque generation and better overall performance. The consequent pole PM rotor design reduces the PM quantity by half versus conventional configurations without compromising performance. Finite element analysis of an 8-pole, 48-slot machine verifies a 6% increase in torque generation and 4 % lower torque ripple compared to a fully PM -assisted design. The proposed machine also outperforms alternatives on metrics, including torque density and efficiency. These favorable characteristics demonstrate the promise of the topology as a cost-effective, high-performing electric propulsion candidate. This work contributes to an innovative machine advancing progress toward affordable PM -assisted synchronous motors.

In this paper, a random PWM based on unified modulation is proposed for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system. The theoretical basis of unified modulation and the implementation scheme of random modulation are analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed random PWM is verified by simulation.

In recent years, wide bandgap semiconductor devices such as silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) have been increasingly applied in electric drive systems, effectively enhancing system power density. However, the high-frequency and high-speed characteristics of SiC devices exacerbate electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues within the system. Additionally, the cables in electric drive systems exhibit significant antenna effects, radiating conducted EMI into the surrounding space, thereby affecting the normal operation of other sensitive equipment. Therefore, it is essential to research motor drive system topologies that can actively suppress EMI and predict radiated interference in motor drive systems. The topology of a four-module motor paired with parallel inverters can achieve active suppression of EMI at the source. This paper conducts a simulation-based prediction of radiated interference for a parallel inverter-driven four-module motor system. It analyzes the coupling mechanisms of common mode and differential mode radiated interference and validates the radiated interference from both DC and AC cables through simulations, predicting the impact on surrounding sensitive equipment in practical systems.

This paper presents several repair schemes for lowrate Reed Solomon (RS) codes over prime fields that can repair any node by downloading a constant number of bits from each surviving node. The resulting total bandwidth is higher than the bandwidth incurred during the trivial repair; however, this is still interesting in the context of leakage-resilient secret sharing. In that language, our results give attacks that show that k-out-of-n Shamir’s Secret Sharing over prime fields for small k is not leakage resilient, even if the parties only leak a constant number of bits. To the best of our knowledge, these are the first such *** another application, we provide decoding schemes for RS codes over prime fields, where the entire RS codeword is recovered by transmitting a constant number of bits from each *** results follow from a novel connection between exponential sums and repair of RS codes. Analyzing wine using taste data is a promising field due to the explosive expansion of online commerce. However, because of the wide variety of wine types with different flavors and aromas, it is difficult for consumers to choose the wine that suits their taste, and also difficult for sellers to recommend appropriate wines to consumers. Therefore, it is necessary to numerically analyze and classify wine, and a deep learning algorithm which mimics the human brain is appropriate for analyzing the wine data [1]. In this paper, we introduce several studies of wine classification using deep learning architectures and propose preprocessing methods for applying the taste data of wine to deep learning networks.
