Thin films on substrate are important class of targets for surface nanomodification for plasmonic or sensoric applications. There are many papers devoted to this problem. But all of them are concentrated on dynamics of a film, paying small attention to substrate. In these papers the substrate is just an object absorbing the first shock. Here we present another point of view directed onto dynamics of a substrate. We consider (i) generation of a shock wave (SW) in a support by impact of a contact;(ii) transition from one-dimensional to two-dimensional (2D) propagation of SW;(iii) we analyze lateral propagation of the SW along a film-support contact;and (iv) we calculate pressure in the compressed layer behind the decaying SW. This positive pressure acting from substrate to the film accelerates the film in direction to vacuum. Above some threshold, velocity of accelerated film is enough to separate the film from support. In these cases the circle of separation is significantly wider than the circle of the focal laser spot on film surface. Absorbed laser heat exponentially decays around an irradiated spot F = Fc exp(−r2/RL2 ), where RL is radius of a Gaussian beam, F and Fc are local and central fluences, r is a radius from the axis. While the law of decay for the 2D SW in substrate is the power law. Therefore in our case of powerful laser action the edge of a separation circle is defined by propagation of the SW in the support. Compressed Gradient Tracking Algorithms for Distributed Nonconvex Optimization

In this paper, we study the distributed nonconvex optimization problem, aiming to minimize the average value of the local nonconvex cost functions using local information exchange. To reduce the communication overhead, we introduce three general classes of compressors, i.e., compressors with bounded relative compression error, compressors with globally bounded absolute compression error, and compressors with locally bounded absolute compression error. By integrating them, respectively, with the distributed gradient tracking algorithm, we then propose three corresponding compressed distributed nonconvex optimization algorithms. Motivated by the state-of-the-art BEER algorithm proposed in [1], which is an efficient compressed algorithm integrating gradient tracking with biased and contractive compressors, our first proposed algorithm extends this algorithm to accommodate both biased and non-contractive compressors. For each algorithm, we design a novel Lyapunov function to demonstrate its sublinear convergence to a stationary point if the local cost functions are smooth. Furthermore, when the global cost function satisfies the Polyak–Lojasiewicz (P–L) condition, we show that our proposed algorithms linearly converge to a global optimal point. It is worth noting that, for compressors with bounded relative compression error and globally bounded absolute compression error, our proposed algorithms’ parameters do not require prior knowledge of the P–L constant. The theoretical results are illustrated by numerical examples, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms in significantly reducing the communication burden while maintaining the convergence performance. Moreover, simulation results show that the proposed algorithms outperform the state-of-the-art compressed distributed nonconvex optimization algorithms. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. The technology of reconfigurable optical networks (RONs) is growing to be a promising solution to effectively cater to the rapidly increasing traffic generated by the digital society. Optical technology emerges as a viable alternative because to its capacity to offer a substantial bandwidth, little latency, and enhanced overall performance. Nevertheless, it is imperative to effectively manage the physical resources comprising a data center. This study provides an experimental demonstration of the RONs, which is enhanced by a control plane. The implementation relies on the monitoring of real-time network statistics. This enables the execution of various activities, including as network slice provisioning and reconfiguration, assignment of packet priority classes, and dynamic operations. These actions are performed to ensure the attainment of the desired Quality of Service level. The experimental results show the successfully implementation of RONs using Mininet Emulator and sFlow traffic monitoring technology. The results approve that optical datacenter has minimum delay with low OSNR even with long distance and fast switching time.

Anomaly detection in surveillance video scenes is one of the current research hotspots. Due to the small sample collection of anomalous events, the lack of negative sample labeling data training in anomaly detection research adds a lot of difficulties. Therefore, we adopt the method of unsupervised training and improve the method of anomaly detection based on the reconstruction of the potential features of the predicted frame and ground truth based on u-net. We reduce the reconstruction error between the potential features of u-net in the predicted frame and the potential features of the real frame. Then through other constraints, the reconstruction error of the entire predicted frame is minimized according to the generative adversarial training. Due to the use of normal behavior sample training, when the abnormal behavior is detected, the reconstruction error value exceeds the set threshold to judge whether abnormal behavior occurs in the surveillance video. Experiments prove that our improved method is effective and accurate.

Dynamic watermarking scheme based on the Shamir threshold and branch structure

A novel dynamic software watermark scheme based on the Shamir threshold and branch structure is presented. First, we split the watermark into a set of shares using the Shamir threshold scheme. Second, these values are encrypted with the DES block cipher that forms the watermark shares to be embedded into different methods of program according to the dynamic behavior of the branch structure. Our scheme can withstand most semantics-preserving attacks and can retrieve the original watermark based on partial information. Simulation tests show that our scheme is very robust, stealthy and has a high price performance rate compared with other methods.

Dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine (DTP-PMSM) has attracted great attention due to its high reliability and high-power output capacities. However, the conventional single-voltage-vector-based predictive current control (SV-PCC) for DTP-PMSM presents high torque ripple and current harmonics, and high computational burden. To solve those issues, a modulated-virtual-vector-based PCC (MVV-PCC) for DTP-PMSM is proposed in this paper. Wherein, twenty-four VVs are synthesized by the inherent voltage vectors, and two VVs and one zero voltage vector with optimal duty cycles are determined and applied in each sampling period to improve the steady-state performance. The selection of optimal VVs and the calculation of the optimal duty cycles are simplified by integrating the deadbeat control and modulation scheme. Various comparisons are carried out to validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed MVV-PCC strategy.

In a social environment, there is a natural mutual force between people. This paper proposes a method for detecting group abnormal behavior based on the potential field method. The movement of a pedestrian is described as the movement towards the target under the combined action of several forces. Forces on pedestrians include the attractive force for themselves and the repulsive force between pedestrians. By calculating the resultant force between them, the behavior of pedestrians is judged according to a set threshold. It is verified through experiments on public data sets that our method has high accuracy and robustness.

Dynamic multiobjective optimization problems (DMOPs) have posed considerable hurdles for traditional evolutionary optimization techniques due to the perpetual variations in their Pareto-optimal sets (PSs) and fronts (PFs). Prediction-based methods have shown promise in swiftly tracking these alterations. However, the majority of current methods rely on linear models to anticipate changing PSs, which can be limiting. When PSs across different environments exhibit nonlinear patterns, accurately predicting the PS in a novel problem becomes challenging. To address this issue, this study introduces a dynamic multiobjective evolutionary optimization algorithm leveraging long short-term memory (LSTM) network predictions. In our approach, the PS of each problem is first divided into several clusters, and the center of each cluster can then be obtained. Thereafter, the cluster centers for the PSs of the problems with different environments form a number of time series. Subsequently, the LSTM network models are trained using the time seriesdata as training samples. Furthermore, the cluster centers of the new PS are predicted utilizing the trained models. LSTM networks excel at capturing historical information and modeling nonlinear relationships, ensuring high prediction accuracy. To enhance the algorithm’s performance, a novel population-generation strategy is employed, ensuring a well-converged and diverse initial population. The proposed algorithm is rigorously tested using benchmark functions, and the results demonstrate its effectiveness in handling DMOPs, outperforming state-of-the-art algorithms. © 2024, The Authors. As an important cyber-physical system (CPS), smart grid is highly vulnerable to cyber attacks. Amongst various types of attacks, false data injection attack (FDIA) proves to be one of the top-priority cyber-related issues and has received increasing attention in recent years. However, so far little attention has been paid to privacy preservation issues in the detection of FDIAs in smart grids. Inspired by federated learning, a FDIA detection method based on secure federated deep learning is proposed in this paper by combining Transformer, federated learning and Paillier cryptosystem. The Transformer, as a detector deployed in edge nodes, delves deep into the connection between individual electrical quantities by using its multi-head self-attention mechanism. By using federated learning framework, our approach utilizes the data from all nodes to collaboratively train a detection model while preserving data privacy by keeping the data locally during training. To improve the security of federated learning, a secure federated learning scheme is designed by combing Paillier cryptosystem with federated learning. Through extensive experiments on the IEEE 14-bus and 118-bus test systems, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are verified. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.
