We show that given a dataset and a decision-tree classifier for the dataset, we can construct a neural network from the decision-tree such that the neural network classifies the data points exactly as the decision-tree does. We study feed-forward neural networks with linear rectification in this paper. Inspired by the idea of "neuron coverage" and "equivalence decomposition", we show that the FFNN’s have a natural equivalent relation on them, and can be applied to decide whether the width of the network can be reduced. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper develops an iterative learning control law for a class of nonlinear systems. The approach used to represent the nonlinear system dynamics is a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy repetitive process that considers the two directions of information propagation. Then, the control action investigated is a state feedback control law combined with a PD-type feed-forward learning control law. Consequently, linear matrix inequality techniques can be used for control design. Furthermore, this approach allows the design of control action to satisfy the requirements on both the error convergence and the transient dynamics. Finally, an example demonstrates the properties of the new design. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposes a new distributed formation flight protocol for unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)to perform coordinated circular tracking around a set of circles on a target *** from the previous results limited in bidirectional networks and disturbance-free motions,this paper handles the circular formation flight control problem with both directed network and spatiotemporal disturbance with the knowledge of its upper *** from the design of a common Lyapunov fiunction for bidirectional cases,we separately design the control for the circular tracking subsystem and the formation keeping subsystem with the circular tracking error as *** the whole control system is regarded as a cascade connection of these two subsystems,which is proved to be stable by input-tostate stability(ISS)*** the purpose of encountering the external disturbance,the backstepping technology is introduced to design the control inputs of each UAV pointing to North and Down along the special sphere(say,the circular tracking control algorithm)with the help of the switching ***,the distributed linear consensus protocol integrated with anther switching anti-interference item is developed to construct the control input of each UAV pointing to east along the special sphere(say,the formation keeping control law)for formation *** validity of the proposed control law is proved both in the rigorous theory and through numerical simulations.

The problem of self-education of students of professional colleges is one of the most important in Uzbekistan. In this article, the fixed-time distributed average tracking (DAT) problem of second-order multiagent systems (MASs) under the undirected topology is discussed. The DAT algorithm is composed of a distributed average estimator and an estimator-based decentralized tracking controller. The distributed average estimator guarantees that the agents estimate the average value of multiple time-varying reference signals (TVRSs) with bounded derivatives within a fixed time. Then, through the back-stepping method, the estimator-based decentralized tracking controller is proposed to ensure that each agent reaches the average value of the multiple TVRSs within a fixed time. Finally, numerical simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed protocol.

Secondary loop refrigeration systems pose advantages over conventional system architectures: leakage reduction, refrigerant charge reduction, maintenance simplification, and reduced safety *** article presents a fault detection and isolation scheme for a secondary loop refrigeration system where parametric faults (dirt/ice-buildup and secondary loop pump failure) and sensor faults (four temperature sensors in the secondary loop) are detected and isolated. The Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI) system is based on Unknown Input Observers (UIO)s and on Extended-Kalman-Filters (EKF)s. The models are obtained through physical relations combined with experimental parameter determination (gray-box model) and are cross-validated against measurement data. The complete FDI architecture is experimentally validated on a secondary loop refrigeration system mounted on a cooling box inside a climate chamber. Experimental results show that the important parametric faults can be reliably detected and isolated, and the FDI of sensor faults is also successful. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Safety critical systems are typically subjected to hazard analysis before commissioning to identify and analyse potentially hazardous system states that may arise during operation. Currently, hazard analysis is mainly based on human reasoning, past experiences, and simple tools such as checklists and spreadsheets. Increasing system complexity makes such approaches decreasingly suitable. Furthermore, testing-based hazard analysis is often not suitable due to high costs or dangers of physical faults. A remedy for this are model-based hazard analysis methods, which either rely on formal models or on simulation models, each with their own benefits and drawbacks. This paper proposes a two-layer approach that combines the benefits of exhaustive analysis using formal methods with detailed analysis using simulation. Unsafe behaviours that lead to unsafe states are first synthesised from a formal model of the system using Supervisory control Theory. The result is then input to the simulation where detailed analyses using domain-specific risk metrics are performed. Though the presented approach is generally applicable, this paper demonstrates the benefits of the approach on an industrial human-robot collaboration system.

In Industry 4.0 background, unmanned full-process automated production has gradually become a hot topic, and the realization of intelligent and information factory requires the joint cooperation of multiple industries, in which the inspection device that replaces traditional manual work is an inescapable topic. At present, domestic and foreign research on intelligent inspection trolley is focused on obstacle avoidance function based on various sensors. In this context, it is introduced an algorithm based on monocular camera as a sensor, using Python language to access OpenCV library, and utilizing Gaussian filter function and Canny operator-based image contour extraction to complete the distance measurement. The algorithm can achieve the distance measurement and obstacle avoidance function at a lower cost. The test results show that the system can automatically identify the distance of obstacles in the inspection process, and according to the visual information captured by the camera in real time, it can independently generate steering action and collision reminder, and can complete the preliminary requirement of intelligent inspection.
