An executable modeling and analyzing approach to C4ISR architecture

To analyze the behavioral model of the command,control,communication,computer,intelligence,surveillance,reconnaissance(C4ISR)architecture,we propose an executable modeling and analyzing approach to ***,the meta concept model of the C4ISR architecture is *** to the meta concept model,we construct the executable meta models of the C4ISR architecture by extending the meta models of ***,we define the concrete syntax and executable activity algebra(EAA)semantics for executable *** semantics functions are introduced to translating the syntax description of executable models into the item of *** support the execution of models,we propose the executable rules which are the structural operational semantics of ***,an area air defense of the C4ISR system is used to illustrate the feasibility of the approach.

An executable framework for modeling and validating cooperative capability requirements in emergency response system

As the scale of current systems become larger and larger and their complexity is increasing gradually,research on executable models in the design phase becomes significantly important as it is helpful to simulate the execution process and capture defects of a system in ***,the capability of a system becomes so important that stakeholders tend to emphasize their capability requirements when developing a *** deal with the lack of official specifications and the fundamental theory basis for capability requirement,we propose a cooperative capability requirements(CCR)meta-model as a theory basis for researchers to refer to in this research domain,in which we provide detailed definition of the CCR concepts,associations and ***,we also propose an executable framework,which may enable modelers to simulate the execution process of a system in advance and do well in filling the inconsistency and semantic gaps between stakeholders’requirements and their *** primary working mechanism of the framework is to transform the Alf activity meta-model into the communicating sequential process(CSP)process meta-model based on some mapping rules,after which the internal communication mechanism between process nodes is designed to smooth the execution of behaviors in a CSP ***,a validation method is utilized to check the correctness and consistency of the models,and a self-fixing mechanism is used to fix the errors and warnings captured during the validation process ***,a validation report is generated and fed back to the modelers for system optimization.

Unknown Application Layer Protocol Recognition Method Based on Deep Clustering

In recent years,many unknown protocols are constantly emerging,and they bring severe challenges to network security and network *** unknown protocol recognition methods suffer from weak feature extraction ability,and they cannot mine the discriminating features of the protocol data *** address the issue,we propose an unknown application layer protocol recognition method based on deep *** clustering which consists of the deep neural network and the clustering algorithm can automatically extract the features of the input and cluster the data based on the extracted *** with the traditional clustering methods,deep clustering boasts of higher clustering *** proposed method utilizes network-in-network(NIN),channel attention,spatial attention and Bidirectional Long Short-term memory(BLSTM)to construct an autoencoder to extract the spatial-temporal features of the protocol data,and utilizes the unsupervised clustering algorithm to recognize the unknown protocols based on the *** method firstly extracts the application layer protocol data from the network traffic and transforms the data into one-dimensional ***,the autoencoder is pretrained,and the protocol data is compressed into low dimensional latent space by the autoencoder and the initial clustering is performed with ***,the clustering loss is calculated and the classification model is optimized according to the clustering *** classification results can be obtained when the classification model is *** with the existing unknown protocol recognition methods,the proposed method utilizes deep clustering to cluster the unknown protocols,and it can mine the key features of the protocol data and recognize the unknown protocols *** results show that the proposed method can effectively recognize the unknown protocols,and its performance is better than other methods.

Autonomous cooperation of unmanned swarms is the research focus on“new combat forces”and“disruptive technologies”in military *** mechanism design is the fundamental way to realize autonomous *** the realistic requirements of a swarm network dynamic adjustment under the background of high dynamics and strong confrontation and aiming at the optimization of the coordination level,an adaptive dynamic reconfiguration mechanism of unmanned swarm topology based on an evolutionary game is *** paper analyzes military requirements and proposes the basic framework of autonomous cooperation of unmanned swarms,including the emergence of swarm intelligence,information network construction and collaborative mechanism ***,based on the framework,the adaptive dynamic reconfiguration mechanism is discussed in detail from two aspects:topology dynamics and strategy ***,the unmanned swarms’community network is designed,and the network characteristics are ***,the mechanism characteristics are analyzed by numerical simulation,focusing on the impact of key parameters,such as cost,benefit coefficient and adjustment rate on the level of swarm ***,the conclusion is made,which is expected to provide a theoretical reference and decision support for cooperative mode design and combat effectiveness generation of unmanned swarm operations.

A branch and price algorithm for the robust WSOS scheduling problem

To analyze and optimize the weapon system of systems(WSOS)scheduling process,a new method based on robust capabilities for WSOS scheduling optimization is ***,we present an activity network to represent the military *** member systems need to be reasonably assigned to perform different activities in the *** we express the problem as a set partitioning formulation with novel columns(activity flows).A heuristic branch-and-price algorithm is designed based on the model of the WSOS scheduling problem(WSOSSP).The algorithm uses the shortest resource-constrained path planning to generate robust activity flows that meet the capability ***,we discuss this method in several test *** results show that the solution can reduce the makespan of the mission remarkably.

Autonomous process collaboration framework for C4ISR system interoperation

Interoperability plays an important role in the joint command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance(C4 ISR) operations. Coordinating and integrating operational processes to fulfill a common mission are challenged by the ever-changing battlefield and hence requires a cross-organizational process management that produces an autonomous, flexible and adaptable architecture for collaborative process evolution. The traditional business process collaboration pattern is based on the predefined "public-view" perspective and cannot meet the requirement of the joint task operations. This paper proposes a flexible visibility control mechanism and a dynamic collaboration framework for modeling and generating collaborative processes. The mechanism allows collaborators to define a set of visibility rules to generate different views of the private processes for different collaborations, which gives a great flexibility for the collaboration initiator to decide on an appropriate collaboration pattern. The framework supports collaborators to dynamically and recursively add a new process or even a new organization to an existing collaboration. Moreover, a formal representation of the processes and a set of generation algorithms are provided to consolidate the proposed theory.

Mutation Testing for Integer Overflow in Ethereum Smart Contracts

Integer overflow is a common vulnerability in Ethereum Smart Contracts(ESCs)and often causes huge economic *** contracts cannot be changed once it is deployed on the blockchain and thus demand further *** testing is a fault-based testing method that can effectively improve the sufficiency of a test for smart ***,existing methods cannot efficiently perform mutation testing specifically for integer overflow in ***,by analyzing integer overflow in ESCs,we propose five special mutation operators to address such vulnerability in terms of detecting sufficiency in ESC *** empirical study on 40 open-source ESCs is conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed mutation *** show that(1)our proposed mutation operators can reproduce all 179 integer overflow vulnerabilities in 40 smart contracts,and the generated mutants have high compilation pass rate and integer overflow vulnerability generation rate;moreover,(2)the generated mutants can find the shortcomings of existing testing methods for integer overflow vulnerability,thereby providing effective support to improve the sufficiency of the test.

A framework that integrates planning,monitoring and replanning techniques is *** can devise the best solution based on the current state according to specific objectives and properly deal with the influence of abnormity on the plan *** framework consists of three parts:the hierarchical task network(HTN)planner based on Monte Carlo tree search(MCTS),hybrid plan monitoring based on forward and backward and norm-based replanning method *** HTN planner based on MCTS selects the optimal method for HTN compound task through *** on specific objectives,it can identify the best solution to the current *** hybrid plan monitoring has the capability to detect the influence of abnormity on the effect of an executed action and the premise of an unexecuted action,thus trigger the *** norm-based replanning selection method can measure the difference between the expected state and the actual state,and then select the best replanning *** experimental results reveal that our method can effectively deal with the influence of abnormity on the implementation of the plan and achieve the target task in an optimal way.

How to correctly acquire the appropriate features is a primary problem in network protocol recognition *** to avoid the trouble of artificially extracting features in traditional methods and improve recognition accuracy,a network protocol recognition method based on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is *** method utilizes deep learning technique,and it processes network flows ***,normalization is performed on the intercepted network flows and they are mapped into two-dimensional matrix which will be used as the input of ***,an improved classification model named Ptr CNN is built,which can automatically extract the appropriate features of network ***,the classification model is trained to recognize the network *** proposed approach is compared with several machine learning *** results show that the tailored CNN can not only improve protocol recognition accuracy but also ensure the fast convergence of classification model and reduce the classification time.

In the experiment teaching of Web application security course, we introduce a teaching assistant system -DVWA, which is vulnerable to the most common types of web application. We design the experiment cases for each Web application vulnerability from two aspects of attack and defense based on DVWA, and apply the multi-round progressive attack-defense confrontation mode to organize the experiment teaching. Teaching practice shows that the method increases the interest of students' learning and improves their ability of Web attack-defense. © 2019 IEEE.
