This paper introduces a groundbreaking real-time grammar error detection and correction system (named 'Error Ears') that adapts to linguistic interactions. At the core of the proposed approach lies the utilization of the potent 'T5' model, renowned for its capability to comprehend and produce human-like text. The proposed workflow meticulously covers essential stages including data pre-processing, model training, and fine-tuning. By fine-tuning the 'T5' model on a diverse dataset of sentences with numerous grammatical errors, the goal is to empower it to distinguish complex contextual nuances in speech. Preliminary results indicate that 'Error Ears' represents a substantial advancement over traditional correctional systems. This system excels at swiftly identifying and rectifying intricate spoken language errors, encompassing structural and contextual details. What sets it apart is its ability to provide real-time contextual suggestions, rendering it especially valuable during virtual meetings, presentations, and everyday conversations. 'Error Ears' is poised to redefine spoken language communication standards by enhancing clarity and precision. Its potential utility extends across a spectrum of contexts and linguistic environments, ensuring more efficient and accurate oral communication. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems need a material compatible with the imaging technique with lesser attenuation and provide accurate images without distortion. Carbon fibers are the best-suited materials for x-ray applications because of their radiolucent properties and reduced attenuation characteristics. However, carbon fiber produces images with distortion in the MRI system by absorbing electromagnetic energy because of its conductive nature. In the present study, five different fiber-reinforced radiolucent composite plates are analyzed to predict their suitability for a radio frequency coil and the effect of a primary magnetic field of 1.5 T and 3.0 T on mechanical responses. Simulation models are built to explore the impact of electromagnetic waves and birdcage coil configurations on composite material and quantify the temperature changes caused due to energy absorption. A multiphysics coupling simulation is being used to understand the effect of stacking sequence, ply orientation, and boundary conditions on the response of composite plates under an electro-magneto-mechanical environment. © The Author(s) 2022.

In industry, steel wire rope (SWR) is a key load-bearing component, the damage or breakage of which may cause serious safety accidents. Therefore, in order to avoid the breakage of SWR, it is necessary to carry out frequent SWR inspection and timely replace the SWR with potential problems. Magnetic flux leakage (MFL) detection is currently one of the most promising SWR detection technique. However, the existing MFL detection methods rely on model-based denoising methods and low-intelligence localization methods, when facing serious noise interference, the effectiveness of the existing methods can be affected. To solve this problem, a detection method based on MFL imaging algorithm and YOLOv5 network is proposed in this paper. The results show that the detection method proposed in this paper outperforms existing model-based detection methods, solving the problem of low detection accuracy under severe noise condition. © 2023 IEEE.

Globally, the development of Intelligent Cyber-Physical Transportation Systems (ICTS) aims to tackle several challenges, including reducing traffic accidents and fuel usage, alleviating congestion, shortening travel time, and enhancing overall transportation safety. These systems leverage advanced customer-centric communication and networked control methods, such as inter-vehicle, vehicle-to-roadside (V2R), and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication through the use of vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) to cover all aspects of transportation-based information. In existing systems, once devices are registered with a Trusted Authority (TA), subsequent authentication still relies on the TA's assistance. However, these devices typically remain stationary, and frequent interaction with the TA becomes impractical and costly in highly mobile VANET environments. To address this challenge, we propose a secure access control protocol with conditional privacy for VANETs. Unlike other protocols, our protocol does not require the TA's involvement during authentication between vehicles and RSUs. Additionally, our protocol leverages pseudonym mechanisms to provide conditional privacy, enabling legitimate vehicles to remain anonymous while malicious ones can be tracked. Our proposed scheme is supported by both formal and informal security analyses and has been shown to be secure against several known attacks in VANETs. Furthermore, compared to relevant studies, our protocol achieves 30.2505% of efficiency in terms of computation cost and 11.09276% of efficiency in terms of communication cost, respectively. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

Color Image Restoration via Quaternion-based Hybrid Regularization Method

Color image restoration is a crucial task in imaging science. Many existing methods treat color channels independently, disregarding inherent color structures within the channels. To address this, pure quaternion matrices are used to depict color images. Note that adaptive total variation (ATV) regularization has the advantage of better preserving local features of images than well-known total variation regularization during the restoration of grayscale images. Inspired by this strategy, we propose a novel quaternion-based hybrid regularization model for restoring color images. This model combines the advantages of the ATV and the weighted nuclear norm. Additionally, we design an alternating direction method of multipliers to solve the proposed model efficiently. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms several state-of-the-art approaches in both numerical and visual aspects. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). Robotics is an amalgamation of mechanical engineering and computer science. Mechanical engineering helps to design and develop mechanical parts and devices for control systems in robots. Space robots and robotics are known as devices that can enhance the manipulation, functionalities, and control exercised by astronauts, and thus can be called their artificial assistants for real-time exploration of space conditions. Control systems in robots like gestures and action become predominant for control, thus human-robot interaction comes into existence. AI and reinforcement learning have been used to control functionality in robots in various fields, but IoRT (Internet of robotic Things) is an emerging area of IoT that has the capabilities to monitor a variety of courses of action in robots. In this paper, we are proposing a conceptual framework based on an IoRT control system integrated with AI and reinforcement learning algorithms, which has been accessed based on multiple papers in the same domain, and it will help future researchers develop and simulate such a prototype. We are also using AKF (Adaptive Kalman Filtering) for robot tracking and noise deduction in sensors integrated with the A* algorithm. Overall, this is a concept-based framework to be designed and simulated. © 2023

The optimal control problem for open quantum systems can be formulated as a time-dependent Lindbladian that is parameterized by a number of time-dependent control variables. Given an observable and an initial state, the goal is to tune the control variables so that the expected value of some observable with respect to the final state is maximized. In this paper, we present algorithms for solving this optimal control problem efficiently, i.e., having a poly-logarithmic dependency on the system dimension, which is exponentially faster than best-known classical algorithms. Our algorithms are hybrid, consisting of both quantum and classical components. The quantum procedure simulates time-dependent Lindblad evolution that drives the initial state to the final state, and it also provides access to the gradients of the objective function via quantum gradient estimation. The classical procedure uses the gradient information to update the control variables. At the technical level, we provide the first (to the best of our knowledge) simulation algorithm for time-dependent Lindbladians with an 1-norm dependence. As an alternative, we also present a simulation algorithm in the interaction picture to improve the algorithm for the cases where the time-independent component of a Lindbladian dominates the time-dependent part. On the classical side, we heavily adapt the state-of-the-art classical optimization analysis to interface with the quantum part of our algorithms. Numerous cybercriminals are active in the online realm, carrying out cyber-crimes according to predetermined and preplanned agendas. Cyberbullying, which was formerly limited to physical limits, has now expanded online as a result of technology advancements. One type of cyberbullying is denigration or insult. The cyberbullying cases are in exponential rise in social media as per the reports of Computer Emergency Team by Sri Lanka. Insulting words are changeable in dynamic and the same terminology may have numerous meanings depending on the context. Bullying cannot be defined just because a statement comprises such a term. As a result, when classifying comments, standard keyword detecting approaches are insufficient. Other languages also may have dealt with this issue by utilizing lexical databases like WordNet, which might give synonyms as well as homonyms for words. Because no adequate lexical database mainly for the English language has been built, recognizing a word like bullying is difficult. As a result, employed rules to solve the problem. Facebook comments containing profanity were gathered, outliers were eliminated, and the remaining messages were pre-processed. Five feature extraction rules were employed to assess insult in the text. Following that, used the Support Vector Machine (SVM) technique. Using an F1-score of 85%, the findings demonstrate that when compared to existing works, SVM performs better. The focus on English language cyberbully identification, which has never been addressed earlier, distinguishes this study. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider the Hermitian $$\{P, k + 1\}$$ -(anti-)reflexive solutions to the quaternion matrix equation $$AXB+CXD=E$$ and $$AX=E,$$ respectively. We use the complex representation method to obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -reflexive solution (resp. Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -anti-reflexive solution), respectively, and derive their solutions when the matrix equations have the Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -reflexive solution (resp. Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -anti-reflexive solution). Finally, two examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of our method.

We are currently in a period of upheaval, as many new technologies are emerging that open up new possibilities to shape our everyday lives.
