Electron mobilities in SrTiO3 and KTaO3: Role of phonon anharmonicity, mass renormalization, and disorder

Accurately predicting carrier mobility in strongly anharmonic solids necessitates a precise characterization of lattice dynamics as a function of temperature. We achieve consistency with experimental electron mobility data for bulk KTaO3 and SrTiO3 above 150 K by refining the Boltzmann transport equations. This refinement includes incorporating temperature-dependent anharmonic phonon eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes into the electron-phonon interaction tensor, while maintaining the derivatives of the Kohn-Sham potential as computed in density functional perturbation theory. Using efficient machine-learned force fields and the stochastic self-consistent harmonic approximation, we accurately compute the dynamical matrices. At room temperature, the calculated mobility for SrTiO3 exceeds experimental values by an order of magnitude, whereas the overestimation for KTaO3 is much less pronounced. This discrepancy is explained through the more significant electron mass renormalization near the conduction-band bottom due to anharmonic electron-phonon coupling and the presence of local disorder in SrTiO3.

In recent years, the intersection of healthcare and technology has witnessed transformative advancements, particularly in medical imaging. The integration of machine learning techniques has empowered the medical community to enhance diagnostic accuracy and streamline healthcare processes. This paper introduces a comprehensive machine learning-based framework designed for classifying X-ray anomalies within the dynamic and scalable environment of cloud computing. The motivation behind this framework stems from the need for scalable, accurate, and cost-effective solutions in healthcare. Leveraging cloud computing's elastic resources, our framework aims to accelerate the deployment of machine learning models for X-ray anomaly classification, ensuring accessibility and affordability across diverse healthcare settings. Gather a diverse dataset of X-ray images with both normal and abnormal cases. Ensure a balanced representation of different anomalies. Utilize the validation set to fine-tune hyperparameters and prevent overfitting. Develop a robust machine learning model capable of accurately classifying X-ray anomalies, leveraging advanced convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transfer learning techniques. The hardware and software required are discussed in relation to the functioning and integration of Cloud computing and Blockchain. Then we have gone through the model of machine learning for detection of anomality in X-rays(infection) step by step and in detail. The model discussed in the research paper can be of great importance to society as many people in society lose their lives to pneumonia every year. With the help of image classification, we can detect the areas of lung infected with infection, hence helping doctors in swift treatment of the patients. © 2023 ACM.

Enhancing healthcare system for patient data with HEO-PRAFT consensus mechanism using SPS authentication based EPRSS encryption

Owing to the advantages of immutability, blockchain has been proposed as a potential solution to facilitate the transmission of personal health data while maintaining anonymity and security. With its decentralized, unchangeable, and transparent characteristics, blockchain technology presents a viable way for addressing these issues. In proposed sophisticated EP (Elliptic curve-Proxy-Re-encryption) based RSS encryption (Ring Signature Scheme) system and Human Evolutionary Optimization (HEO) based effective Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) enabled RAFT (HEO-PRAFT) is developed for secured EMR sharing and storing in blockchain. The suggested approach is to obtain patient information from standard hospitals’ Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Subsequently, the gathered data are verified by the use of a structural preserving scheme (SPS), and the verified data are encrypted through the EP-RSS scheme. A public–private key pair for the user is generated in advance EPRSS scheme. The encrypted EMR data is stored in the cloud. Then HEO-PRAFT based consensus process is used to hash the encrypted data and add it to the blockchain. The healthcare data is safely transferred to the blockchain for effective and secure patient data storage based on this enhanced PRAFT. The method uses EPRSS-based access control to ensure privacy protection and offer customized access control. The obtained experimental outcomes, including transaction delay, block creation time, encryption time, decryption times, jitter, and throughput, are 4.51 ms, 3.71 ms, 4.56 ms, 4.85 ms, 4.09 ms, and 539mb/s. Ultimately, EPRSS and HEO-PRAFT based encryption and consensus methods enhance the security of the healthcare system. © 2025

Enumeration and Representation Theory of Spin Space Groups

Fundamental physical properties, such as phase transitions, electronic structures, and spin excitations, in all magnetic ordered materials, were ultimately believed to rely on the symmetry theory of magnetic space groups. Recently, it has come to light that a more comprehensive group, known as the spin space group (SSG), which combines separate spin and spatial operations, is necessary to fully characterize the geometry and underlying properties of magnetic ordered materials. However, the basic theory of SSG has seldom been developed. In this work, we present a systematic study of the enumeration and the representation theory of the SSG. Starting from the 230 crystallographic space groups and finite translation groups with a maximum order of eight, we establish an extensive collection of over 100 000 SSGs under a four-index nomenclature as well as international notation. We then identify inequivalent SSGs specifically applicable to collinear, coplanar, and noncoplanar magnetic configurations. To facilitate the identification of the SSG, we develop an online program that can determine the SSG symmetries of any magnetic ordered crystal. Moreover, we derive the irreducible corepresentations of the little group in momentum space within the SSG framework. Finally, we illustrate the SSG symmetries and physical effects beyond the framework of magnetic space groups through several representative material examples, including a candidate altermagnet RuO2, spiral spin polarization in the coplanar antiferromagnet CeAuAl3, and geometric Hall effect in the noncoplanar antiferromagnet CoNb3S6. Our work advances the field of group theory in describing magnetic ordered materials, opening up avenues for deeper comprehension and further exploration of emergent phenomena in magnetic materials.

Motivation: Metabolomics has developed rapidly in recent years, and metabolism-related databases are also gradually constructed. Nowadays, more and more studies are being carried out on diverse microbes, metabolites and diseases. However, the logics of various associations among microbes, metabolites and diseases are limited understanding in the biomedicine of gut microbial system. The collection and analysis of relevant microbial bioinformation play an important role in the revelation of microbe-metabolite-disease associations. Therefore, the dataset that integrates multiple relationships and the method based on complex heterogeneous graphs need to be developed. Results: In this study, we integrated some databases and extracted a variety of associations data among microbes, metabolites and diseases. After obtaining the three interconnected bilateral association data (microbe-metabolite, metabolite-disease and disease-microbe), we considered building a heterogeneous graph to describe the association data. In our model, microbes were used as a bridge between diseases and metabolites. In order to fuse the information of disease-microbe-metabolite graph, we used the bipartite graph attention network on the disease-microbe and metabolite-microbe bipartite graph. The experimental results show that our model has good performance in the prediction of various disease-metabolite associations. Through the case study of type 2 diabetes mellitus, Parkinson's disease, inflammatory bowel disease and liver cirrhosis, it is noted that our proposed methodology are valuable for the mining of other associations and the prediction of biomarkers for different human diseases. Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)provide intelligent navigation and efficient route management,resulting in time savings and cost reductions in the transportation ***,the exchange of beacons and messages over public channels among vehicles and roadside units renders these networks vulnerable to numerous attacks and privacy *** address these challenges,several privacy and security preservation protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography have been proposed ***,most of these schemes are limited by a long execution time and massive communication costs,which make them inefficient for on-board units(OBUs).Additionally,some of them are still susceptible to many *** such,this study presents a novel protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and bilinear pairing(BP)*** formal security analysis is accomplished using the Burrows–Abadi–Needham(BAN)logic,demonstrating that our scheme is verifiably *** proposed scheme’s informal security assessment also shows that it provides salient security features,such as non-repudiation,anonymity,and ***,the scheme is shown to be resilient against attacks,such as packet replays,forgeries,message falsifications,and *** the performance perspective,this protocol yields a 37.88%reduction in communication overheads and a 44.44%improvement in the supported security ***,the proposed scheme can be deployed in VANETs to provide robust security at low overheads.

In this paper, we consider the recovery of low-rank matrices from noisy observations using spectral denoisers, where the singular values are denoised through an identical scalar smoothing function. We explore the asymptotic mean squared error (AMSE) of these denoisers within a framework where the rank of the matrix to be recovered grows linearly with the matrix size. We demonstrate that, under arbitrary i.i.d. noise and some mild regularity assumptions, the AMSE converges in probability to a deterministic function of the noise power. Our results are applicable to commonly used denoisers, including the best-rank-r denoiser, the singular-value soft-threshold denoiser, and the singular-value hard-threshold denoiser. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to establish an analytical expression for the asymptotic MSE under arbitrary i.i.d. noise. The derived analytical expression depends solely on the empirical distribution of the singular values of the low-rank matrix and the specific form of the spectral denoiser employed.
