As a computer vision technology that combines pedestrian detection and person re-identification, person search focuses on its application in practical scenarios. However, at present, the academic community pays more attention to the performance of person search algorithm on a single data domain, and the generalization performance of person search models across data domain is less considered. In order to improve the cross-domain performance of person search model, we design a person search image style transfer network suitable for the characteristics of person search task. The proposed style transfer network is able to generate the source domain training image of the target domain style and reduce the overfitting of the person search model to the source domain style. Experiments show that the proposed method can generate qualified source domain training images of the target domain style. Further, the generalization performance of person search model on the target domain can be effectively improved by using the generated style transferred images as the data augmentation in the source domain pre-training stage. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

For the first time, we raise and address the research problem of robust LiDAR-Camera alignment (LCA) over point cloud density variation, which is essentially important to the applications like autonomous driving and robot navigation. Our key idea is to generate the regular point cloud that holds the characteristics of density-insensitivity and evenness jointly for extracting robust and effective LCA feature. Our intuition lies in 2 main folders. That is, density-insensitivity aims to make the generated point cloud have a fixed number of points in local spaces. And, evenness requires that the points in local spaces can be evenly distributed to better recover the scene. The density-insensitivity and evenness ensure the generated point cloud can provide robust and effective information for LCA tasks. Specifically, a 2D CNN model is used to achieve the density-insensitivity and evenness of generated regular point clouds. Additionally, a novel loss function is proposed to train our model without ground truth. The experiments on KITTI dataset verify superiority of our proposition. Our method can achieve comparable performance with state-of-the-arts LCA methods under original testing point clouds. As the point cloud density decreases, the performance of our method gradually outperforms them. When the point cloud density is very sparse, the performance advancement of our method is over 1.5 m / 0.4◦ on translation / rotation error with mis-alignment magnitudes of up to ±1.5m and ±20◦. © 2024 IEEE.

To address the issues of fuzzy edges and loss of fine features in existing noise reduction algorithms for industrial computed tomography (CT) images, we present a hybrid wavelet denoising and guided filtering algorithm. Firstly, a 2-layer wavelet decomposition is performed on the industrial CT image using the Haar wavelet basis to decompose the original image into low frequency and high frequency coefficients. Secondly, the high frequency coefficients are processed using the threshold shrinkage method, and the low frequency coefficients are refined by combining them with guided filtering. Lastly, the wavelet coefficients are reconstructed using the wavelet inverse transform to obtain the final noise reduced image. Experimental results show that the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) of the proposed algorithm reaches 43.8013 dB, which is 34.87%, 17.84%, and 5.01% higher than that of bilateral filtering, wavelet denoising, and guided filtering algorithms, respectively. Both simulation experiments and practical applications demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in preserving edge and detail information, improving the quality of industrial CT images and providing strong support for noise reduction technology based on industrial CT images. With the rapid development and wide application of cloud computing technology, Kubernetes has attracted much attention as the most mainstream container cluster management tool. Aiming at the shortcomings of the horizontal auto-scaling strategy of Kubernetes itself, this paper proposes a horizontal auto-scaling optimization strategy based on the grey Markov model, which can effectively achieve fast scaling up to meet the sudden task requests and slow scaling down to reduce the SLA violation rate. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified through experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

As an important support for the communication link of embedded systems, the bus protocol faces many security threats while meeting diverse business needs, and how to ensure the security of the bus link of embedded systems has become an important security issue. In order to meet the requirements of generalized security detection of embedded system bus protocols, this paper proposes a fuzzing method for embedded bus protocol based on dynamic mutation of message sequences. Based on the bus protocol specification, we model the protocol message and interaction process, and realize the fuzzing test of the protocol process in combination with the association of messages in the message sequence. At the same time, we combined the fuzzer with a timer to increase the time perception of the method. In order to verify the effectiveness of our method, this paper applies the proposed method to the CAN bus fuzzing of the Internet of Vehicles simulation platform, and successfully finds a security flaw in the process of motor speed data frame processing of the platform. Moreover, we carry out a comparative experiment with several common fuzzing tools, and the experimental results show that in the defect detection of the CAN bus of the Internet of Vehicles simulation platform, our method can increase the automatic mutation support for the interval_time field, and can discover more security defects. © 2024 IEEE.

When it comes to firmware vulnerability detection in embedded systems, traditional static analysis approaches struggle to capture deep-level program execution logic, resulting in unsatisfactory effectiveness. Based on common fuzzer, this paper proposes a coverage-oriented dynamic fuzzing test method called dynamic instrumentation marking coverage-based fuzzer to support simulation and test for ARM and MIPS architecture-based IoT embedded device firmware. Furthermore, two experiments were designed. One proved the fuzzer can effectively discover vulnerabilities in firmware;the other one demonstrated that compared to the AFL fuzzer, the method we proposed can generate more test samples, execute most of them and trigger more crash records. © 2024 IEEE.

As the energy transition advances, multi-microgrid systems are being widely applied due to their advantages in effectively accommodating clean energy and achieving zero-carbon power supply within certain areas. However, due to the instability and intermittency of renewable energy units within these systems, intelligent regulation of the output of various units in multi-microgrid systems has become an urgent issue to address. Reinforcement learning (RL), benefiting from its strength in making decisions through interaction with the environment, has emerged as one of the effective solutions to this problem. Yet, the generalization performance of the model places demands on training data and diversity. To this end, a reinforcement learning model based on a federated learning framework is proposed, taking into account soft loads on the user side and power losses within the network. After modeling the multi-microgrid system, the specific training process can be briefly summarized as follows: first, mixed strategies are employed at each local end to train the RL models within individual microgrids;then, parameters required for model updates are transmitted to a global server for federated learning;subsequently, the models of each microgrid are updated based on the global server model. Finally, simulations and analyses are conducted on a small-scale multi-microgrid example composed of three microgrids, verifying the effectiveness and superiority of the algorithm, as well as its enhancement of market economic benefits. © 2024 IEEE.

In complex management information systems, there are a large number of business entities, complex permission relationships, and diverse access requirements. A set of permission governance methods is needed to solve the permission problems of the system and plan for the development of business permissions. This article summarizes a security and compliance permission governance method, which involves policy mining of a large number of logs generated by information systems, checking audit permission activities, identifying permission risks, and promptly addressing permission vulnerabilities. It also summarizes the role governance and user permission governance steps based on mutual exclusion of responsibilities for information systems and related peripheral systems. Combining the business characteristics and pain point scenarios of various modules in the information system, by establishing a closed-loop management of permissions, the permission governance system can self-improve, evolve synchronously with the iteration of the business system, achieve full lifecycle management of information system permissions and security and compliance detection, and safeguard the security of business activities. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to address the issue of model version incompatibility in supporting the implementation of Model-Based Systems engineering (MBSE) with SysML v2, this paper first elucidates a feasible engineering modelling method based on the SysML v2 specification. Subsequently, leveraging model transformation concepts, a v2 model version conversion method based on the QVT Relations Language is proposed. Various potential compatibility scenarios and implementation paths are meticulously analysed. On this foundation, a design scheme for program modules ensuring version full transitivity is presented. Finally, the proposed methods and programs are validated through case studies involving version conversion under two different scenarios. The results indicate that the proposed approach effectively resolves SysML v2 model version compatibility issues arising from changes in syntax or semantic patterns. © 2024 IEEE.
