As the prevalence of encrypted communication continues to rise, understanding and visualizing encrypted traffic have become paramount for network administrators, cybersecurity analysts, and researchers. This research study presents innovative methods for visualizing encrypted traffic patterns, leveraging diverse data sets representing various encrypted protocols. The goal of this research work is to enhance the comprehension of network behavior, identify anomalies, and strengthen cybersecurity measures without compromising the confidentiality of sensitive information. The goal is to develop techniques that can provide insights into encrypted traffic without requiring decryption. This research study discusses about different datasets of encrypted protocols and how they can be used to design new methods for visualizing the encrypted traffic. The main aim of this research work is to propose visualization methods that could help to reveal any interesting things detectable from encrypted traffic flows, especially HTTPS, SSH (Secure Shell), SMTP secured with TLS (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and DNS over HTTPS. © 2024 IEEE.

Chinese Frame Semantic Parsing (CFSP) is an important task in the field of Chinese Natural Language Processing(NLP). Its goal is to extract the frame semantic structure from the sentence and realize the deep understanding of the events or situations involved in the sentence. This paper mainly studies the application of Large Language Model (LLM) for reasoning through Prompt engineering without fine-tuning the model, and completes three subtasks of Chinese Framework Semantic Parsing tasks: frame identification, argument Identification and role identification. This paper proposes a Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) method for target words, and constructs more refined sample Few-Shot method. We achieved the second place on the B rankings in the open track in the "CCL2024-Eval The Second Chinese Frame Semantic Parsing" competition* © 2024 China National Conference on Computational Linguistics.

Accelerating Data Transfer in Dataflow Architectures Through a Look-Ahead Acknowledgment Mechanism

The dataflow architecture,which is characterized by a lack of a redundant unified control logic,has been shown to have an advantage over the control-flow architecture as it improves the computational performance and power efficiency,especially of applications used in high-performance computing(HPC).Importantly,the high computational efficiency of systems using the dataflow architecture is achieved by allowing program kernels to be activated in a simultaneous ***,a proper acknowledgment mechanism is required to distinguish the data that logically belongs to different *** solutions include the tagged-token matching mechanism in which the data is sent before acknowledgments are received but retried after rejection,or a handshake mechanism in which the data is only sent after acknowledgments are ***,these mechanisms are characterized by both inefficient data transfer and increased area *** performance of the dataflow architecture depends on the efficiency of data *** order to optimize the efficiency of data transfer in existing dataflow architectures with a minimal increase in area and power cost,we propose a Look-Ahead Acknowledgment(LAA)*** accelerates the execution flow by speculatively acknowledging ahead without *** simulation analysis based on a handshake mechanism shows that our LAA increases the average utilization of computational units by 23.9%,with a reduction in the average execution time by 17.4%and an increase in the average power efficiency of dataflow processors by 22.4%.Crucially,our novel approach results in a relatively small increase in the area and power consumption of the on-chip logic of less than 0.9%.In conclusion,the evaluation results suggest that Look-Ahead Acknowledgment is an effective improvement for data transfer in existing dataflow architectures.

An Efficient Algorithm and Quantization for Fully Distributed Sequential Change Detection

The problem of fully distributed sequential change detection (FDSCD) is studied, where a bunch of distributed sensors collaboratively detect the occurrence of an abrupt event without the help of a fusion center. Due to the distributed nature, each sensor determines whether the event has occurred according to their own observations and messages received from their neighbors through noiseless links with finite capacity. In this paper, a novel algorithm is proposed for FDSCD that views every sensor as a fusion center and mimics the behavior of the cumulative sum (CUSUM) algorithm that is optimal in the presence of fusion center. One crucial factor in the proposed algorithm is the weighting factors that reduce the influence of stale messages circulated in the network. Design of these weighting factors based on genetic algorithms is provided. Quantizer design is also studied to meet the finite capacity constraint. Two designs are proposed where the first one numerically maximizes the total output Kullback-Leibler divergence and the second one again exploits the genetic algorithms. Extensive simulations are conducted whose results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the current state-of-art in terms of the tradeoff between expected delay and average run length to a false alarm. © 1972-2012 IEEE.

An adaptive Q-learning based particle swarm optimization for multi-UAV path planning

In recent times, the path planning of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in 3D complex flight environments has become a hot topic in the field of UAV technology. Path planning is a crucial process that involves determining the trajectory of the UAV from the point of origin to its destination. However, a number of algorithms proposed for this task have been proven inefficient in this 3D space. In response, this paper proposes the use of an adaptive Q-Learning based particle swarm optimization to tackle the problem. This algorithm introduces the Q-Learning algorithm and designs four states and actions for each particle. Based on the accumulated experience from reinforcement learning, the particles can choose the appropriate action in different states. To evaluate the performance of the AQLPSO algorithm, extensive simulation experiments were conducted. These experiments involved comparing the AQLPSO algorithm with existing algorithms such as PSO, PSO-SA, and RMPSO. The results of the simulations demonstrated that the AQLPSO algorithm outperformed these algorithms in terms of multiple performance metrics. It effectively solved the UAV path planning problem in 3D complex flight environments by reducing the likelihood of falling into local optima, improving efficiency, and achieving faster convergence towards the global optimal solution. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Currently, electric vehicle (EV) battery platforms typically vary in standard, commonly rated at either 800V or 400V. Conventional wireless charging system (WCS) are limited to single voltage level charging, necessitating wireless communication or additional complex circuits for achieving multi-voltage level charging, which can compromise operational stability and overall efficiency. This article proposes a WCS based on the concept of bipolar partial power conversion. By incorporating reversing series switches on the secondary of the DC/DC converter, regulation voltage control enables switching between positive and negative polarity to supply power to either 800V or 400V battery for EV. This approach ensures high power transmission efficiency, without relying on wireless communication, thereby ensuring stable charging process. Furthermore, this article also presents various combinations of bipolar topologies that can be selectively employed based on application requirements. Finally, simulation results validate the feasibility of the proposed 3.2KW WCS. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a model predictive robust control (MPRC) is proposed for a three-phase capacitive-coupling grid-connect inverter (CGCI) to improve the power quality compensation performance under deviating system parameters. A detail stability study and parameter design of the proposed MPRC is provided, while the robustness and power quality compensation performance of the proposed MPRC are verified by the simulation in comparison to the conventional model predictive control (MPC). © 2024 IEEE.
