Throughout the use of the small battery-operated sensor nodes encou-rage us to develop an energy-efficient routing protocol for wireless sensor networks(WSNs).The development of an energy-efficient routing protocol is a mainly adopted technique to enhance the lifetime of *** routing protocols are available,but the issue is still *** is one of the most important techniques in the existing routing *** the clustering-based model,the important thing is the selection of the cluster *** this paper,we have proposed a scheme that uses the bubble sort algorithm for cluster head selection by considering the remaining energy and the distance of the nodes in each ***,the bubble sort algorithm chose the two nodes with the maximum remaining energy in the cluster and chose a cluster head with a small *** proposed scheme performs hierarchal routing and direct routing with some energy *** simulation will be performed in MATLAB to justify its performance and results and compared with the ECHERP model to justify its ***,the simulations will be performed in two scenarios,gate-way-based and without gateway to achieve more energy-efficient results.

Forest disturbance is a crucial factor in evaluating carbon sink changes in ecological studies. Current research on forest disturbances mainly focuses on forest disturbance detection, forest disturbance classification, and other analyses and statistics of forest changes methods. These studies are mostly based on time-series images or forest remote sensing features to achieve dynamic monitoring of forest changes. However, it is often impossible to construct disturbance information with a lack of images from early remote sensing. This paper addresses this limitation by proposes a method of forest disturbance time backtracking which can get historical information on forest disturbance over a wider temporal distribution. Using this method, we ultimately achieved forest disturbance detection on early remote sensing images from the 1960s. This method is based on machine learning and deep learning algorithms to construct two forest disturbance datasets to achieve this goal. The first dataset, for categorizing forest disturbances, is the first of its kind in Northeast China. This data can be widely used in similar studies. The second dataset is the forest disturbance recovery year dataset. We estimate the timing of early forest disturbance by classifying this dataset. The experimental results showed that the first dataset has an accuracy of over 90%, and the backtracking historical disturbance results are consistent with the actual historical information. This method is significant in its ability to fill in gaps in the forest disturbance classification present in Northeast China and enhance the confidence and time span of the forest disturbance detection method. © 2024 IEEE.

Wheat is one of the fundamental crops that sustains billions of people globally. Unfortunately its production faces major challenges from numerous plant based diseases which can drastically decrease yields as well as the economic returns. There exist a variety of frameworks utilising computer vision and deep learning techniques which can be invaluable for numerous tasks aiding the stakeholders in agriculture and crop management by identifying diseased sections of *** methods to detect the disease are prone to human errors and such limitations underscore the need for automated and reliable disease detection systems. Also AI is likely to predict a future outbreak of any such disease by analysing the historical and geographical data. In this paper, a novel technique have been proposed whose novelty lies in the result that has been achieved using the proposed algorithm which when compared to two other deep learning models that are ResNet50 and VGG16 achieved a higher accuracy. The deep learning approach for wheat leaf disease detection implemented in this paper is performed using a convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture implemented in Python, OpenCV, NumPy, and TensorFlow alongside implementing some data augmentation leveraging the power of deep learning to extract complex features from wheat leaf images enabling accurate classification between healthy and diseased leaves. The aforementioned algorithm has been trained using a default Crop Disease Dataset extracted from a Github repository which has been able to achieve an accuracy of 88.53% with one full cycle of 30 epochs recording its final epoch with 91.04% accuracy and the final K Fold procedure resulting in 91.42% accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

In Mobile sensor Networks, Each and every wireless node dynamically changes its location due to its mobility nature. The routing information is maintained by the master node to deliver a data packet from source to destination. The attackers easily hack this wireless network. The performance of the complete networks is dropped by packets transmission attacks. Attacker node drops the packet. An enhanced protection technique in response to packets transmission misbehaviour attacks is provided to increase the energy efficiency of mobile nodes. This paper proposed the Cryptographic formed Malicious Node Detection and Secure Routing framework (CMNDSR). This model incorporates three various strategies specially algorithm for control of access, to protects initial illegal node in the network. The suspected identification and prevention techniques based on hop count value. Secure routing method with a private key generated at random like one time password (OTP). The proposed methods are power efficient, by operating a minimum number of nodes in challenging environment. The misbehaviour nodes are promptly identified and isolated using this proposed approach. The Cryptographic based Secure routing algorithm is applied to provide secure transmission in wireless networking environment. The outcomes of the simulation display how effectively the recommended approach can identify malicious nodes in a MANET. In comparison with previous methods, the energy consumption is 10% lower and the suspicious node detection rate is increased by 95%. © 2024 IEEE.

Algorithmic bias in healthcare mirrors existing data biases. However, the factors driving unfairness are not always known. Medical devices capture significant amounts of data but are prone to errors;for instance, pulse oximeters overestimate the arterial oxygen saturation of darker-skinned individuals, leading to worse outcomes. The impact of this bias in machine learning (ML) models remains unclear. This study addresses the technical challenges of quantifying the impact of medical device bias in downstream ML. Our experiments compare a "perfect world", without pulse oximetry bias, using SaO2 (blood-gas), to the "actual world", with biased measurements, using SpO2 (pulse oximetry). Under this counterfactual design, two models are trained with identical data, features, and settings, except for the method of measuring oxygen saturation: models using SaO2 are a "control" and models using SpO2 a "treatment". The blood-gas oximetry linked dataset was a suitable test-bed, containing 163,396 nearly-simultaneous SpO2 - SaO2 paired measurements, aligned with a wide array of clinical features and outcomes. We studied three classification tasks: in-hospital mortality, respiratory SOFA score in the next 24 h, and SOFA score increase by two points. Models using SaO2 instead of SpO2 generally showed better performance. Skin cancer, which stands as the most prevalent form of human malignancy, is primarily identified through visual examination. The procedure for identifying skin lesions typically starts with an initial clinical assessment, which might be followed by dermoscopic analysis, a biopsy, and a subsequent histopathological checkup. Image-based Skin lesion classification presents a significant challenge due to the subtle and intricate variations in their appearance. Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) show promising results in managing diverse and intricate tasks involving a wide array of finely detailed object categories. Skin lesions Classification is shown in this work initially using a six-layered CNN performed on the skin cancer dataset to classify seven classes of lesions with 10015 images. Exploratory data analysis of the dataset is performed to identify any outliers and to verify the balance of samples in each class. It was observed after 50 epochs, the training accuracy was 98.03% and the testing accuracy was 67.40%. To avoid the overfitting observed in the CNN approach, the pre-trained transfer learning models, Resnet50 and Densenet121 were finetuned with data augmentation to handle the imbalance of samples present in seven classes. The results obtained prove that the Densenet121 model achieves high performance compared with the other Resnet50 model after augmentation. © 2024 IEEE.

Beyond the text detection and recognition tasks in image text spotting, video text spotting presents an augmented challenge with the inclusion of tracking. While advanced end-to-end trainable methods have shown commendable performance, the pursuit of multi-task optimization may pose the risk of producing sub-optimal outcomes for individual tasks. In this paper, we identify a main bottleneck in the state-of-the-art video text spotter: the limited recognition capability. In response to this issue, we propose to efficiently turn an off-the-shelf query-based image text spotter into a specialist on video and present a simple baseline termed GoMatching, which focuses the training efforts on tracking while maintaining strong recognition performance. To adapt the image text spotter to video datasets, we add a rescoring head to rescore each detected instance's confidence via efficient tuning, leading to a better tracking candidate pool. Additionally, we design a long-short term matching module, termed LST-Matcher, to enhance the spotter's tracking capability by integrating both long- and short-term matching results via Transformer. Based on the above simple designs, GoMatching delivers new records on ICDAR15-video, DSText, BOVText, and our proposed novel test set with arbitrary-shaped text termed ArTVideo, which demonstrates GoMatching's capability to accommodate general, dense, small, arbitrary-shaped, Chinese and English text scenarios while saving considerable training budgets. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. This paper investigates the influence of local lag on the reaction forces in a networked virtual maze system incorporating haptic feedback by experiment. In the experiment, participants move a box from the starting position to the target point by using Raising method with haptic device. We measure the average operation time and the average of average reaction force for three different moving velocities and three distinct local lags. Experimental results reveal that as the moving velocity increases and the local lag becomes higher, the two measures become larger. Thus, we illustrate that there exists a strong relationship among the average operation time, the average of average reaction force, moving velocity, and local lag, through multiple regression analysis. © 2024 IEEE.
