The frequent items problem is to process a stream as a stream of items and find all items occurring more than a given fraction of the time. It is one of the most heavily studied problems in data stream mining, dating back to the 1980s. Aiming at higher false positive rate of the Space-Saving algorithm, an LRU-based (Least Recently Used, LRU) improved algorithm with low frequency item pre-eliminated is proposed. Accuracy, stability and adaptability of the improved algorithm have been apparently enhanced. Experimental results indicate that the algorithm can not only be used to find the frequent items, and can be used to estimate the frequency of them precisely. The improved algorithm can be used for online processing both high-speed network packet stream and backbone NetFlow stream.

In the dynamic distributed environment, the data sources trend to suffer changes that invalidate the mappings. We put forward a Fuzzy-based Broken Schema Mapping Detecting Approach (BSMD) to process the run time broken mapping detecting problem. The core of BSMD is a set of computationally inexpensive modules called sensors, which capture salient characteristics of data sources. There are two novel improvements: Disjunction-Weighted Average Operators are leveraged to calculate the score, which implies whether the mapping is broken;Change Weight Operators is introduced combine artificial data with real data in the training phase. The experiments over the real-world sources demonstrate the effectiveness of our fuzzy-based approach over existing solutions, as well as the utility of our improvements. © 2010 IEEE.

To address the data consistency issue of schema level, we proposed a Stacking-based Multi-Strategy Schema Matching Approach (MSMA). We are supposed to use the information of schema and other descriptions, along with the characteristics of instances, to identify the relation between different schemas. The multi-strategy approach can increase the utilization of information, thus it can improve the accuracy of mapping. MSMA designs a number of learners to grasp the information of instances, and improves the multi-strategy approach. The experimental results show that the precision of MSMA is up to 89%, and the recall of MSMA is up to 93%. As to the pattern of lack of schema information, MSMA has more precision of the original approach. © 2010 IEEE.

The introduction of cognitive radio technology and multi-radio multi-channel technology to wireless mesh networks improves network capability, and at the same time, brings new challenges for network architecture design and protocol optimization. In this paper, we study end-to-end bandwidth allocation in multi-radio cognitive wireless mesh network. To achieve a good trade off between fairness and throughput, we propose the joint radio assignment and routing optimization problem based on the well-known Lexicographical Max-Min (LMM) fairness model. We present linear mixed integer programming (LMIP)-based optimal algorithm to solve the problems. We exemplify a numerical experiment and apply a mathematic programming software GAMS to solve the LMIP sub-problems. The experimental results justify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

Fault diagnosis expert system is wide used in the maintenance application fields. And knowledge acquisition is the key technology of expert system development. For the equipment maintenance domain, systems typically require a very long period to acquire knowledge, and knowledge is not necessarily correct. To address this issue, we describe the relationship between rough set theory and rulebased description of equipment failures. Then the exclusive rules, inclusive rules and failure images of equipment are built based on the EMES (Equipment Maintenance Expert System) diagnosis model, and the definition of probability rule is put forward. Next, we present the rulebased automated induction reasoning method and resampling methods. We also introduce automated induction of the rulebased description, which is used in our EMES. Finally, the experimental results show our solution gives a very suitable framework to represent processes of uncertain knowledge extraction.

In this paper, we bring forward the Bayesian filter technology based on AntiSpam Grid, which can realize the cooperation among various servers and comprehensive utilization of grid resources, and ultimately improve the accuracy and efficiency of spam *** analyze the Anti-Spam Grid, design and implement the grid-based Bayesian filter, and experimentally verify the effect of the filtering system.

During the fuzzy reasoning of expert system, there are always some uncertain informahon sources. We should use the multicriteria decision malong to aggregate them. The fuzzy aggregation operator is the key technology of multicriteria decision making. We define harmonic triangular norm operators and strict harmonic triangular norm operators. Four type detail harmonic triangular norm operators are given. Further, the procedure and algorithm of multicriteria decision making based on fuzzy aggregahon operator is given. Finally, we define two measures associated with the operators. Based on the measure, the relahonships of those operators and classical operators are evaluated and compared. The result shows that the operators offer a new method to aggregation of fuzzy information sources in fuzzy environments.

Text classification is an important research field of data mining topics. This article brings a mutual information and information entropy pair based feature selection method (MIIEP FS) based on the theory of information entropy and information entropy pair concept. This method measure the classification effect using feature by mutual information method and show the difference extent between the features being selected and the ones selected by information entropy. The experimental results show that the MIIEP-FS method proposed is more effective than MI and CHI methods. Macro F1 degrees of different kinds of machine learning algorithms: Naive Bayes and KNN method are higher by MIIEP-FS method, sometimes even more than the ones of support vector machines. © 2010 IEEE.

With utilizing some quantum mechanism into the game theory, quantum game theory provides us with the ability to achieve results not otherwise possible. In this paper, a brief overview of classical game theory and some game-theoretic terms are depicted. Then, an introduction to quantum theory is presented as well as some correlative works in this field. Finally, some well-known quantum games are analyzed and discussed, which shows its predominant effect on some games problems (the Prisoners' Dilemma, Parrondo's Games, etc.).
