Dynamic Offloading and Scheduling Strategy for Telematics Tasks Based on Latency Minimization

In current research on task offloading and resource scheduling in vehicular networks,vehicles are commonly assumed to maintain constant speed or relatively stationary states,and the impact of speed variations on task offloading is often *** is frequently assumed that vehicles can be accurately modeled during actual motion ***,in vehicular dynamic environments,both the tasks generated by the vehicles and the vehicles’surroundings are constantly changing,making it difficult to achieve real-time modeling for actual dynamic vehicular network *** into account the actual dynamic vehicular scenarios,this paper considers the real-time non-uniform movement of vehicles and proposes a vehicular task dynamic offloading and scheduling algorithm for single-task multi-vehicle vehicular network scenarios,attempting to solve the dynamic decision-making problem in task offloading *** optimization objective is to minimize the average task completion time,which is formulated as a multi-constrained non-linear programming *** to the mobility of vehicles,a constraint model is applied in the decision-making process to dynamically determine whether the communication range is sufficient for task offloading and ***,the proposed vehicular task dynamic offloading and scheduling algorithm based on muti-agent deep deterministic policy gradient(MADDPG)is applied to solve the optimal solution of the optimization *** results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper is able to achieve lower latency task computation ***,the average task completion time of the proposed algorithm in this paper can be improved by 7.6%compared to the performance of the MADDPG scheme and 51.1%compared to the performance of deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG).

Wireless networking has made enormous improvements. These developments have brought about new paradigms of wireless networking and communications Environmental protection has been in recent years a more intelligent and linked system for all facets of a global city. With the rise in data gathering, machine learning (ML) approaches can be used to boost the knowledge and the skill of an application. As the numbers increase and technology develops, the number of available data increases. Smart collection and interpretation of these Big Data is the underground to the rising of smart Internet of Things IoT apps. This study discovers the diverse methods of machine learning that resolve data difficulties in smart cities. Optimized Consensus for Blockchain in Internet of Things Networks via Reinforcement Learning

Most blockchain systems currently adopt resource-consuming protocols to achieve consensus between miners;for example,the Proof-of-Work(PoW)and Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerant(PBFT)schemes,which have a high consumption of computing/communication resources and usually require reliable communications with bounded ***,these protocols may be unsuitable for Internet of Things(IoT)networks because the IoT devices are usually lightweight,battery-operated,and deployed in an unreliable wireless ***,this paper studies an efficient consensus protocol for blockchain in IoT networks via reinforcement ***,the consensus protocol in this work is designed on the basis of the Proof-of-Communication(PoC)scheme directly in a single-hop wireless network with unreliable communications.A distributed MultiAgent Reinforcement Learning(MARL)algorithm is proposed to improve the efficiency and fairness of consensus for miners in the blockchain *** this algorithm,each agent uses a matrix to depict the efficiency and fairness of the recent consensus and tunes its actions and rewards carefully in an actor-critic framework to seek effective *** results from the simulation show that the fairness of consensus in the proposed algorithm is guaranteed,and the efficiency nearly reaches a centralized optimal solution.

Structural Invariant Feature Segmentation Based Apple Fruit Disease Detection Using Deep Spectral Generative Adversarial Networks

In Indian economy agriculture, Crop cultivation plays an important role in the fruit production agricultural sector. At present, crop loss is primarily due to infested crops, resulting in reduced production rates for affecting various diseases. Manual monitoring of the disease is very difficult to analyze the type. It requires a huge amount of work, expertise, and excessive processing *** tackle this problem, we introduce Deep Spectral Generative Adversarial Networks (DSGANs) algorithm to categorize the apple disease. Initially, the preprocessing was carried out through Median and Gabor Filters to enhance the frequency of the Image. Then the boundary regions are adaptively filtered with a canny edge detector. This supports the exact boundary regions of the object to get the affected region. The color variance and the contours are different from the affected and non-effected regions. To optimize this, the Self-Adaptive Plateau Histogram Equalization (SAPHE) technique is applied to find the difference between affected and non-affected regions. Modified Gabor kernels are applied to choose the invariance of the affected region which supports segmentation using Invariant Sliding Window Segmentation (ISWS). This makes optimized segmentation by extracting the features in the affected boundary region. By intent, a ReLu activation for Logical decision to activate the logical decision depends on max successive threshold weights from convoluted margins. The non-linearity substitutive feature margins are extracted to enhance the performance of the output to process the adaptive GAN output layers. Finally, the classification part uses the DSGANs. The gated features get the marginal threshold values based on the feature extraction weights to get trained into classifier layers. This iteratively verifies the feature margins on affected regions get trained in Deep SpectralGenerative Adversarial Networks (DSGANs). © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singap

The usage of machine learning and deep learning algorithms have necessitated Artificial Intelligence'. AI is aimed at automating things by limiting human interference. It is widely used in IT, healthcare, finance, and agriculture. It is achieved through several deep learning algorithms that reflect the human brain's intelligence. These AI algorithms can be manipulated according to changing needs and improved efficiency. This paper tries to utilize the developments made in AI technology to classify the images and recognize the objects present in them. One widely used AI algorithm is CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks). The CNN is a deep learning-based algorithm that consists of various layers that extract and filters the parameters present in the images. Some additional layers of ResNet50 and the CNN algorithm are used to extract the parameters to improve image recognition accuracy. The image dataset taken for training and testing the proposed model is imageNet. The images are initially processed before sending them to the proposed model. The proposed model is trained, validated, and tested through the images obtained after the initial processing. The same process is repeated several times until getting the maximum accuracy. The accuracy of the proposed model in terms of image recognition is recorded. The obtained results are compared with other image classification algorithms like VGG16 and VGG19. Enhancing pre-trained models for text summarization: a multi-objective genetic algorithm optimization approach

Pre-trained language models have significantly advanced text summarization by leveraging extensive pre-training data to enhance performance. Many cutting-edge models undergo an initial pre-training phase on a large corpus before being fine-tuned specifically for text summarization tasks. The challenge arises when the limited data available for these summarization tasks and the high complexity of the models lead to aggressive fine-tuning, which can cause the models to over fit the training data and fail to generalize well to new, unseen data. To address these challenges, the study proposes a multi-objective based Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) approach for optimizing pre-trained models for summarization The proposed approach first compares the performance of various pre-trained models by fine-tuning them with the CNN/Daily Mail dataset. Secondly, the proposed Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) is applied to all validated pre-trained models and compared using a statistical approach. Experimental results reveal that Pre-training with Extracted Gap-sentences for Abstractive Summarization Sequence-to-sequence (PEGASUS) model performs best among the pre-trained models. Further optimization with the proposed MOGA method yields even better results, with the optimized model achieving a Recall-Oriented Understudy for Gisting Evaluation) ROUGE-1 score of 0.514, a ROUGE-2 score of 0.4, and a ROUGE-L score of 0.5. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.
