Sign language is a non-verbal communication method used to communicate between hard of hearing or deaf and ordinary people. Automatic Sign language detection is a complex computer vision problem due to the diversity of modern sign languages and variations in gesture positions, hand and finger form, and body part placements. This research paper aims to conduct a systematic experimental evaluation of computer vision-based approaches for sign language recognition. The present research focuses on mapping non-segmented video streams to glosses to gain insights into sign language recognition. The proposed machine learning model consists of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) layers such as Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The model is implemented using current deep learning frameworks such as Google TensorFlow and Keras API. © 2022 IEEE.

Load balancing is vital for the efficient and long-term operation of cloud data *** virtualization,post(reactive)migration of virtual machines(VMs)after allocation is the traditional way for load balancing and consoli***,it is not easy for reactive migration to obtain predefined load balance objectives and it may interrupt services and bring ***,we provide a new approach,called Prepartition,for load *** partitions a VM request into a few sub-requests sequentially with start time,end time and capacity demands,and treats each sub-request as a regular VM *** this way,it can proactively set a bound for each VM request on each physical machine and makes the scheduler get ready before VM migration to obtain the predefined load balancing goal,which supports the resource allocation in a fine-grained *** with real-world trace and synthetic data show that our proposed approach with offline version(PrepartitionOff)scheduling has 10%–20%better performance than the existing load balancing baselines under several metrics,including average utilization,imbalance degree,makespan and Capacity_*** also extend Prepartition to online load *** results show that our proposed approach also outperforms state-of-the-art online algorithms.

Image watermarking algorithms have developed rapidly in recent years. Most of the Deep Neural Network(DNN)-based image watermarking algorithms embed only 30 bits or 64 bits messages in 128 × 128 images, while few algorithms embed large capacity messages. This is mainly because embedding large capacity messages will significantly influence the performance of algorithms. However, the limited capacity of these messages inhibits their effectiveness in certain data protection scenarios. Therefore, we propose a DNN-based large capacity image water-marking model. By using Stationary Wavelet Transform(SWT) and Laplacian pyramid transform, we expand the embedding capacity and achieve embedding 128 bits messages in 128 × 128 images. Experimental results show that under the same conditions, the proposed model is superior to state-of-the-art models, and has excellent performance. © 2023 IEEE.

The availability of technology and the expansive nature of the internet have created a surge in the demand for online learning. Despite so many advantages, there are some existing drawbacks related to online learning. The lengthy recorded video lectures of different subjects and modules in a static manner, are extremely tedious for the learner to understand the contents available. and lack of assistance for academic-related problems of students is also stated as a major issue that comes with online education. EDUZONE provides a reliable solution to mitigate and overcome these challenges. This tool is educational assistance that generates a summarized version of the video lectures which depicts the overall idea of the whole video with the capability of a lecture notes generator along with a digital human which helps to clarify students' problems and build an efficient conversational flow. The summarized video content can be used by the learners for revisions and as a quick reference before any examinations. In addition to generating short and precise content, EDUZONE also indexes any specific topics to make it easier to find content and generate class notes, highlighting all the important content. Overall EDUZONE can be considered a time-efficient educational assistant which helps students with their studies. © 2022 IEEE.

A key method used in the study of Natural Language Processing (NLP) is sentiment analysis, or emotion analysis, plays a pivotal role in text analysis. Its primary function is to discern and categorize the underlying emotions within textual content, classifying them as positive, neutral, or negative sentiments. A variety of textual inputs can be used with this process, including entire documents, individual sentences, and more. Understanding the sentiments expressed by individuals is of paramount importance to organizations in today's digital age. Clients and customers now have the means to express their thoughts and emotions with greater ease and immediacy than ever before. This wealth of sentiment data can offer valuable insights that organizations can leverage to enhance their products, services, and overall customer experience. The present study focuses on the sentiment analysis of Twitter data related to the COVID-19 pandemic, employing the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm. To improve the accuracy of sentiment analysis, a pre-processing procedure is introduced, which involves the use of the Neat Text module in Python to clean the tweets. In this research endeavor, a dataset comprising 1,79,107 COVID-19-related tweets is subjected to sentiment analysis using the proposed pre-processing module and LSTM. The results demonstrate an impressive accuracy rate of 96% in accurately determining the sentiments conveyed in these COVID-19 tweets. In contrast, the existing algorithm, based on Artificial Neural Network (ANN), achieved a significantly lower accuracy rate of 76%. This research not only showcases the effectiveness of LSTM and pre-processing in sentiment analysis but also highlights the significance of sentiment analysis in gaining valuable insights from vast amounts of textual data, especially when important events like the COVID-19 pandemic are involved. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. IoT is an important technology for Agriculture. When it comes to machine learning-based decisions related to agriculture the farmers can take precise decisions according to the sensor data collected from IoT. But most people who live in urban areas of Sri Lanka were adopted to agriculture because of COVID 19 pandemic situation. So most of the people have limited space for gardening, and newcomers haven't proper knowledge of what are the crops suitable for their area of garden space and relevant instructions to grow the crops which they like and environment factors needed. And they haven't understood the type of fertilizers that need for the crop. Almost nowadays people haven't much time for watering and care the plants that they like to grow in their garden. Garden Pro Android Application had introduced a feature Machine Learning based crop recommendation system for newcomers to home gardening. By using this feature of the app user can get an idea about crops that are suitable for their garden area, gardening instructions. And soil moisture also fertilizers and the application shows real-time temperature, soil moisture, and humidity, water level required for the crop that collected from IoT sensors and additionally the 3D View of the plants that predicted according to the soil conditions visualize to the user by Augmented reality technology. © 2022 IEEE.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, emotion recognition has been applied in all aspects of life, using eye movement tracking technology for emotion recognition has become an important branch of emotion computing. In order to explore the relationship between eye movement signals and learners' emotional states in the online video learning environment, we used machine learning and convolutional neural network methods to recognize eye movement signals, and classify learners' emotional states into two categories, positive and negative. The study of eye movement data under different time windows mainly includes four stages: data collection, data preprocessing, classifier modeling, training and testing. In this paper, a Eye-movement Feature Extraction Classification Network(EFECN) based on convolutional neural network is proposed for small sample data and the classification of emotion state based on eye movement. The eye movement data were transformed into images through cross-modal conversion as input of multiple different deep convolutional neural networks, and the emotional states were classified in positive and negative directions. The accuracy was used as the evaluation index to evaluate and compare the different models. The accuracy of the eye movement emotion recognition model reached 72% in the SVM model and 91.62% in the EFECN model. Experimental results show that the convolutional neural network based on deep learning has a significant improvement in recognition accuracy compared with traditional machine learning methods. © 2023 SPIE.
