This study discusses the development of a web application aimed at facilitating Sinhala document creation, with a specific emphasis on Sinhala voice-to-text conversion and the handling of Sinhala commands through vocal input. Leveraging machine learning techniques, including convolutional neural networks and Natural Language Processing, the application's core features were established. Extensive research was conducted to tailor the application's content to the needs of its primary users, ensuring maximum effectiveness. The user-friendly interfaces of the web application are designed for clarity, simplicity, and consistency. The primary objective of this research is to comprehensively analyze the implementation of Sinhala voice-to-text conversion and Sinhala command handling systems. These systems are primarily designed to benefit diverse users, including journalists, content writers, and differently abled individuals with verbal abilities, by enhancing the efficiency of creating Sinhala documents. Through a detailed exploration of the research methodology, this study offers insight into the development process of the web-based system. The outcomes of the linguistic model training, presented within the study, reveal achievements and advancements that address the limitations inherent in existing solutions. Key findings from this research demonstrate the successful functionality of the Sinhala voice-to-text converter and the efficacy of the Sinhala command handler. The voice-to-text conversion system achieved an impressive accuracy rate of over 80%, while the Sinhala command handler exhibited an accuracy of approximately 80%. Moreover, this research envisions potential applications that extend beyond document creation. The technology showcased in the web application holds promise for broader language-based applications, impacting education, accessibility, and communication across the native Sinhala-speaking community in Sri Lanka. Online testing is critical to ensuring reliable operations of the next generation of supercomputers based on a kilo-core network-on-chip(NoC)interconnection *** present a parallel software-based self-testing(SBST)solution that makes use of the bounded model checking(BMC)technique to generate test sequences and parallel *** this method,the parallel SBST with BMC derives the leading sequence for each router’s internal function and detects all functionally-testable faults related to the function.A Monte-Carlo simulation algorithm is then used to search for the approximately optimum configuration of the parallel packets,which guarantees the test quality and minimizes the test ***,a multi-threading technology is used to ensure that the Monte-Carlo simulation can reach the approximately optimum configuration in a large random space and reduce the generating time of the parallel *** results show that the proposed method achieves a high fault coverage with a reduced test ***,by performing online testing in the functional mode with SBST,it effectively avoids the over-testing problem caused by functionally untestable turns in kilo-core NoCs.

The 6th generation mobile networks(6G)network is a kind of multi-network interconnection and multi-scenario coexistence network,where multiple network domains break the original fixed boundaries to form connections and *** this paper,with the optimization objective of maximizing network utility while ensuring flows performance-centric weighted fairness,this paper designs a reinforcement learning-based cloud-edge autonomous multi-domain data center network architecture that achieves single-domain autonomy and multi-domain *** to the conflict between the utility of different flows,the bandwidth fairness allocation problem for various types of flows is formulated by considering different defined reward *** the tradeoff between fairness and utility,this paper deals with the corresponding reward functions for the cases where the flows undergo abrupt changes and smooth changes in the *** addition,to accommodate the Quality of Service(QoS)requirements for multiple types of flows,this paper proposes a multi-domain autonomous routing algorithm called LSTM+*** a Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)layer in the actor and critic networks,more information about temporal continuity is added,further enhancing the adaptive ability changes in the dynamic network *** LSTM+MADDPG algorithm is compared with the latest reinforcement learning algorithm by conducting experiments on real network topology and traffic traces,and the experimental results show that LSTM+MADDPG improves the delay convergence speed by 14.6%and delays the start moment of packet loss by 18.2%compared with other algorithms.

In cricket training, preventing injuries and developing skills are of utmost importance, especially concerning the school cricketers. This research presents a web application, 'CricBoost' which would serve to address all these vital issues through a multifaceted strategy. This study offers batsman pose accuracy assessment and correction using MediaPipe and Random Forest algorithm, Analysis of bowling and grip using MediaPipe, VGG16 and Gradient Boost models for classification and Shap for providing suggestions on the optimal methods, Suggestion of Shot selection for Batsman, where YOLOv8 and OpenCV are applied to ball pitch analysis and the player is given suggestions about the right shot to take, and cricket drill recommendation system focused on targeted skill improvement of players. CricBoost will deliver a unique combination that will increase players' technical skills, strategic intelligence, and performance while simultaneously focusing on injury prevention by teaching correct techniques. © 2024 IEEE.

Adaptive design and implementation of automatic modulation recognition accelerator

Automatic modulation recognition-oriented Deep Neural Networks (ADNNs) have achieved higher recognition accuracy than traditional methods with less labor overhead. However, their high computation complexity usually far exceeds the computation capacity of communication devices built on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) platform. When solving the problem of insufficient resources, the complete operation of FPGA-based accelerator can be achieved by dividing the calculation into several parts and calculating them separately, but this will cause unaccepTable latency. In this backdrop, we develop a new ADNN model, named VT-CNN2+, to promote the recognition accuracy. Then, after stating the resources and latency problems for implementing VT-CNN2+ on the FPGA platform, an adaptive hardware accelerator is put forward. To implement the accelerator, Area folding is introduced to optimize resources consumption. Moreover, Literacy Optimization, Parallelism Optimization, Inter-layer Cascading, Temporary Cache and Data Loading Optimization are adopted to reduce latency. Afterwords, the two components in our accelerator are detailed, i.e., Once-designed module and Re-designed module. Finally, to evaluate the performance and adaptivity of our accelerator, a series of experiments are conducted on two different FPGA platforms, i.e., AX7350 and ZedBoard. Results show that our accelerator can successfully adapt to different FPGA platforms and it can remarkably reduce the processing latency. Moreover, our accelerator’s processing speed of 0.066249s per single data sample with much lower energy consumption is one order of magnitude faster than desktop-level Central Processing Units (CPUs), two orders of magnitude faster than embedded CPUs. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Predicting water quality is essential to preserving human health and environmental sustainability. Traditional water quality assessment methods often face scalability and real-time monitoring limitations. With accuracies of 62%, 72%, 83%, 69%, 63%, 66%, 71%, 63%, and 64%, respectively, the current techniques utilized were Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest Regressor, Extreme Gradient Boosting, Naive Bayes, K-nearest neighbors, Support Vector Machine, AdaBoost, and Bagging [9]. This study addresses these challenges by leveraging Adaptive Synthetic Sampling (ADASYN) to balance the dataset and evaluating model performance on datasets of 5,000 and 10,000 entries per class. A robust dataset obtained from Kaggle was used, with five models – Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN), Categorical Boosting (CatBoost), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and Random Forest – evaluated and compared. The proposed methods demonstrate significant improvements in accuracy, with XGBoost achieving the highest accuracy of 95.53%, followed by Random Forest at 93.98%. This work underscores the importance of advanced machine learning techniques in addressing the limitations of traditional methods, enhancing accuracy, scalability, and adaptability in water quality prediction. These findings contribute to advancing environmental monitoring and management practices with reliable, data-driven insights. © 2025 IEEE.

Optimization-Inspired Graph Neural Network for Cellular Network Optimization

The rapid development of wireless communications have driven the need for careful optimization of network parameters to improve network performance and reduce operational cost. Traditional methods, however, struggle with the vast number of tunable parameters and lack scalability in diverse network scenarios. To address these challenges, this paper introduces an optimization-inspired bipartite graph neural network (Bi-GNN) approach for scalable network optimization. Our approach leverages the bipartite structure of network topologies, and incorporates a message-passing mechanism by unfolding the Zeroth-Order Block Coordinate Projected Gradient Descent (ZO-BCPGD) algorithm, which ensures not only high-performance optimization but also manageable computational demand. We demonstrate the permutation and dimensionality equivariance property of the Bi-GNN, which significantly enhances the model's generalizability across various network structures and sizes. Furthermore, we theoretically analyze the expressive power and generalization ability of the Bi-GNN, demonstrating its adeptness at complex network optimization tasks. The training process, parallel execution, and practical implementation techniques are also discussed to ensure the model's applicability in real-world scenarios. Numerical results verify that the Bi-GNN outperforms existing methods in both coverage ratios and computational cost. Furthermore, our approach exhibits robust scalability across various network scenarios, making it a versatile tool for optimizing a wide range of wireless networks. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Lip Reading AI is a discipline that is rapidly changing and has numerous applications in security, accessibility and human-computer interaction. This paper proposes a model which combines Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to capture spatial capabilities, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks to examine temporal dependencies, and an adaptive interest mechanism. Meticulous preprocessing of the MIRACL VC-l dataset addressing challenges including one of a kind lip moves and occlusions accompanied with the aid of transitioning this study effortlessly to LRS2 dataset to complement lexemic versatility is one of its key function. The effects verify its robustness throughout unique datasets with superior overall performance towards cutting-edge techniques. Ablation checks suggest the crucial significance of every element in phrases of improving lip analyzing accuracy. Our proposed model version additionally suggests flexibility in restricted and naturalistic language situations. © 2024 IEEE.
