Improvement of Watermarking-LEACH Algorithm Based on Trust for Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consists of a large number of sensor nodes to monitor physical or environmental conditions. Each sensor node has specific tasks to do with its neighbours. On the other hand, if node does not perform it, it is considered as misbehaviour node and often interrupt the normal functionality of a WSN. In order to keep functional WSNs, it is necessary to identify the misbehaviour of the node, which will save the network from internal attacks. So, an effective security mechanism is essential. The work presented in this paper is concerned with introduced trust management based Watermarking-LEACH to prevent at the same time internal and external attacks. This leads to introduce a new trust model into Watermarking-LEACH schema to infer the total trust and security with the energy-efficiency. To this end, the implementation and simulation of T-W-LEACH approach is done with the MATLAB tool simulator and the evaluation of security and energy is made to perform a comparative with TBE- LEACH a Trust based energy efficient routing in LEACH for wireless sensor networks.

KM3NeT is a deep-sea neutrino observatory under construction at two sites in the Mediterranean Sea. The ARCA telescope (Italy), aims at identifying and studying TeV-PeV astrophysical neutrino sources, while the ORCA telescope (France), aims at studying the intrinsic properties of neutrinos in the few-GeV range. Since they are optimised in complementary energy ranges, both telescopes can be used to do neutrino astronomy from a few MeV to a few PeV, despite of their different primary goals. The KM3NeT observatory takes active part to the real-time multi-messenger searches, which allow to study transient phenomena by combining information from the simultaneous observation of complementary cosmic messengers with different observatories. In this respect, a key component is the real-time distribution of alerts when potentially interesting detections occur, in order to increase the discovery potential of transient sources and refine the localization of poorly localized triggers, such as gravitational waves. The KM3NeT real-time analysis framework is currently reconstructing all ARCA and ORCA events, searching for spatial and temporal coincidences with alerts received from other operating multi-messenger instruments and performing core-collapse supernova analyses. The selection of a sample of interesting events to send alerts to the external multi-messenger community is presently under definition. Branching fraction and effective lifetime measurements of the rare decay Bs0→μ+μ− and searches for the decays B0→μ+μ− and Bs0→μ+μ−γ are reported using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a luminosity of 9 fb−1. The branching fraction B(Bs0→μ+μ−)=(3.09−0.43−0.11+0.46+0.15)×10−9 and the effective lifetime τ(Bs0→μ+μ−)=2.07±0.29±0.03 ps are measured, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. No significant signal for B0→μ+μ− and Bs0→μ+μ−γ decays is found and upper limits B(B0→μ+μ−)<2.6×10−10 and B(Bs0→μ+μ−γ)<2.0×10−9 at the 95% C.L. are determined, where the latter is limited to the range mμμ>4.9 GeV/c2. The results are in agreement with the standard model expectations.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has recently seen transformative breakthroughs in the life sciences, expanding possibilities for researchers to interpret biological information at an unprecedented capacity, with novel applications and advances being made almost daily. In order to maximise return on the growing investments in AI-based life science research and accelerate this progress, it has become urgent to address the exacerbation of long-standing research challenges arising from the rapid adoption of AI methods. We review the increased erosion of trust in AI research outputs, driven by the issues of poor reusability and reproducibility, and highlight their consequent impact on environmental sustainability. Furthermore, we discuss the fragmented components of the AI ecosystem and lack of guiding pathways to best support Open and Sustainable AI (OSAI) model development. In response, this perspective introduces a practical set of OSAI recommendations directly mapped to over 300 components of the AI ecosystem. Our work connects researchers with relevant AI resources, facilitating the implementation of sustainable, reusable and transparent AI. All interesting and fascinating collective properties of a complex system arise from the intricate way in which its components interact. Various systems in physics, biology, social sciences and engineering have been successfully modelled as networks of coupled dynamical systems, where the graph links describe pairwise interactions. This is, however, too strong a limitation, as recent studies have revealed that higher-order many-body interactions are present in social groups, ecosystems and in the human brain, and they actually affect the emergent dynamics of all these systems. Here, we introduce a general framework that allows to study coupled dynamical systems accounting for the precise microscopic structure of their interactions at any possible order. We consider the most general ensemble of identical dynamical systems, organized on the nodes of a simplicial complex, and interacting through synchronization-non-invasive coupling function. The simplicial complex can be of any dimension, meaning that it can account, at the same time, for pairwise interactions, three-body interactions and so on. In such a broad context, we show that complete synchronization, a circumstance where all the dynamical units arrange their evolution in unison, exists as an invariant solution, and we give the necessary condition for it to be observed as a stable state in terms of a Master Stability Function. This generalizes the existing results valid for pairwise interactions (i.e. graphs) to the case of complex systems with the most general possible architecture. Moreover, we show how the approach can be simplified for specific, yet frequently occurring, instances, and we verify all our theoretical predictions in synthetic and real-world systems. Given the completely general character of the method proposed, our results contribute to the theory of dynamical systems with many-body interactions and can find applications in an extremely wide range of practical cases. A method of analyzing human pulmonary X-rays using a few software procedures to process the images will be presented. Photographs of the lungs were investigated and images of the arteries were illustrated, successfully extracting the shadows due to the ribs and the lung itself through an advanced algorithm. This paper presents a solution for processing and interpretation of pulmonary X-ray images in order to deploy a better fractal analysis, to find out the fractal dimension and lacunarity for arteries network.

An amplitude analysis of flavor-untagged Bs0→J/ψpp¯ decays is performed using a sample of 797±31 decays reconstructed with the LHCb detector. The data, collected in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1. Evidence for a new structure in the J/ψp and J/ψp¯ systems with a mass of 4337−4+7 −2+2 MeV and a width of 29−12+26 −14+14 MeV is found, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, with a significance in the range of 3.1 to 3.7σ, depending on the assigned JP hypothesis.

Electronic Travel Aids (ETA) help visually impaired people to avoid obstacles. In the ETA area new user interfaces and interaction modes are investigated. Due to increasing hardware and software complexity used in modern ETA there is an increasing demand for simulation tool to facilitate development processes. Such tools enable testing of larger varieties of user experiences in shorter time. In the field of acoustic virtual displays capabilities of different sounds and psychoacoustic phenomena to display three-dimensional sound have to be evaluated. Different simulators make it difficult to compare research results. To facilitate comparability between different approaches an ETA framework is introduced in this work. The framework includes a simulator which allows research groups to perform experiments with their specific interfaces. Due to the same underlying simulation environment results of various groups are comparable. Using a framework would make algorithms or devices from different research groups be directly usable for others. In this position paper the development of such a framework is reasoned and the basic requirements on such a framework are proposed. A financial data analysis using the time series method has been performed. At the same time a correct interpretation of daily exchange rates fluctuations, for Eur foreign currencies is presented. The fractal dimension evaluation has been performed using the box-counting method, which allows for a rapid analysis of 2D images on two bits (white-black). A perfected version of this method has been employed to investigate the temporal evolution of a currency rate, which has oscillations predominantly on the vertical direction.
