There are well-known issues in eliciting probabilities, utilities, and criteria weights in real-life decision analysis. In this paper, we examine automatic multi-criteria weight-generating algorithms which are seen as one remedy to some of the elicitation issues. The results show that the newer Sum Rank approaches perform better in terms of both performance and robustness than older (classical) methods, also when compared to the new and promising geometric class of methods. Additionally, as expected the cardinal surrogate models perform better than their ordinal counterparts (with one exception) due to their ability to take more information into account. Unexpectedly, though, the well-established linear programming model's performance is worse in this respect than previously thought, despite a promising mapping between linear optimisation and surrogate weight generation which is explored in the paper. © 2023 IOS Press. Mixed Reality (MR) is becoming an integral part of many context-aware industrial applications. In maintenance and remote support operations, the individual steps of computer-supported (cooperative) work can be defined and presented to human operators through MR headsets. Tracking of eye movements can provide valuable insights into a user's decision-making and interaction processes. Thus, our overarching goal is to better understand the visual inspection behavior of machine operators on shopfloors and to find ways to provide them with attention-aware and context-aware assistance through MR headsets that increasingly come with eye tracking (ET) as a default feature. Toward this goal, in two industrial scenarios, we used two mobile eye tracking devices and systematically compared the visual inspection behavior of novice and expert operators. Vector control schemes have recently been used to drive linear induction motors(LIM)in high-performance *** trend promotes the development of precise and efficient control schemes for individual *** research aims to present a novel framework for speed and thrust force control of LIM using space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)*** framework under consideration is developed in four *** begin,MATLAB Simulink was used to develop a detailed mathematical and electromechanical *** research presents a modified SVPWM inverter control *** tuning the proportional-integral(PI)controller with a transfer function,optimized values for the PI controller are *** the subsystems mentioned above are integrated to create a robust simulation of the LIM’s precise speed and thrust force control *** reference speed values were chosen to evaluate the performance of the respective system,and the developed system’s response was verified using various data *** the low-speed range,a reference value of 10m/s is used,while a reference value of 100 m/s is used for the high-speed *** speed output response indicates that themotor reached reference speed in amatter of seconds,as the delay time is between 8 and 10 *** maximum amplitude of thrust achieved is less than 400N,demonstrating the controller’s capability to control a high-speed LIM with minimal thrust *** to the controlled speed range,the developed system is highly recommended for low-speed and high-speed and heavy-duty traction applications.

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (Science and Information Organization). Smart cities have produced vast amounts of surveillance video data that can be processed to identify anomalies since the introduction of visual sensors. A novel Quantized Wavelet Auxiliary Encoder Self-Attention Dilated Convolutional Neural Network with Gold Rush Optimizer (QWAESDCNN-GRO) designed to enhance security and reduce crime potential. Through the integration of the Quantized Discrete Haar Wavelet Transform (QDHWT), frame-level features have been extracted. Subsequently, the recovered features are fed to the Auxiliary Guided Knowledge Encoder-Decoder (AGED), which uses them to rank the features. These features are then sent to the Self-Attention Causal Dilated Convolutional Neural Network (SACDCNN) with Gold Rush Optimization (GRO) for anomaly detection. Performance indicators including Fl-score, recall, accuracy, precision, and AUC are compared with those of earlier techniques in order to assess the effectiveness of the recommended strategy. Using the UCF-Crime dataset, the model achieved an accuracy of 99.87% and an error rate of 0.021%. On the Hockey Fights dataset, it obtained an accuracy of 99.88% and an error rate of 0.019%. © 2024 IEEE.

Activity recognition is the task of identifying human actions and physical activities. It can have applications in broad areas including medical, sports and fitness, healthcare, behaviour analysis and security. Activity recognition is a widely sought after area of research in both Machine Learning (ML) and smart devices. The activity recognition plays an important role in the field of machine learning. There are several machine learning techniques which can be applied for pose based activity recognition. These techniques involve training machine learning models for the dataset. The dataset is obtained by using OpenPose framework. This framework provides keypoints from an input image. These keypoints represent the raw data determining the pose of a human. The significance of facial recognition in the era of artificial intelligence lies in its utilization of facial features as a type of biometric characteristic possessing uniqueness and irreversibility. However, exposing these features to attacks, tampering, or unauthorized disclosure poses considerable threats to user privacy and security. A privacy and security solution based on deep learning and encryption algorithms is proposed to tackle this issue. This solution employs the FaceNet deep learning algorithm to extract facial features efficiently. The combination of biometric feature blurriness and cryptographic system precision is achieved, utilizing the CKKS fully homomorphic encryption algorithm for operations in the ciphertext domain of facial recognition. The SM4 algorithm is used to enhance the resilience of facial feature ciphertext against malicious attacks. By leveraging the properties of symmetric ciphers, a balance is achieved between security and computational efficiency. The management of the symmetric key used in the SM4 algorithm is conducted through the employment of the SM9 asymmetric encryption algorithm. Experimental results and analysis demonstrate that the proposed solution enhances the security of data transmission, storage, and comparison without compromising the accuracy and efficiency of facial recognition. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

For safety critical applications, it is still a challenge to use AI and fulfill all regulatory requirements. Medicine/healthcare and transportation are two fields where regulatory requirements are of fundamental importance. A wrong decision can lead to serious hazards or even deaths. In these fields, semantic segmentation is often utilized to extract features. Especially U-Net architectures are used. This paper shows how to apply layer-wise relevance propagation (LRP) to a trained U-Net architecture. We achieve an efficient explanation of a segmentation by back-propagating the whole resulting image. To tackle the non-linear results of the LRP, we introduce a threshold mechanism in combination with a logarithmic transfer function to preprocess the data for visualization. We demonstrate our method on three use cases: the segmentation of a fiber-reinforced polymer in the field of non-destructive testing, the segmentation of pedestrians in an automotive application, and a lung segmentation example from the medical domain. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Timely prediction of heart disease and its cause is the most challenging issue in medical science. This paper uses various machine learning algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbourhood, and K-fold cross-validation are used to predict heart diseases. The system uses a K-fold cross-validation technique to enhance the accuracies of algorithms. The UCI Kaggle Cleveland heart disease datasets is used to analyse the performance of the models. It is found in the experiment that the training accuracy of K-Nearest Neighbour is 88.52%, and Recall is 93.30%. The Random Forest produced the highest and most comparable Receiver Operating Characteristics Curve accuracy. Moreover, the experimental results of the recommended techniques are compared with previous heart disease prediction studies, and it is found that among the suggested technique, the performance of K-Nearest Neighbour is best. The fundamental goal of this study is to design a novel and distinctive model-creation approach for resolving practical issues. © 2023 IEEE.
