The growing realm of blockchain technology has captivated researchers and practitioners alike with its promise of decentralized, secure, and transparent transactions. This paper presents a comprehensive survey and analysis of various blockchain technologies, focusing on their fundamental properties, architectural designs, operational models, evolutionary trends, and overarching frameworks. Through an extensive review of existing literature and empirical studies, this research synthesizes the multifaceted landscape of blockchain, elucidating key concepts such as consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, scalability, interoperability, and privacy protocols. By examining the evolution of blockchain from its inception to its current state and beyond, this paper delineates the trajectory of technological advancements and identifies emerging paradigms. Furthermore, it critically evaluates the strengths and limitations of diverse blockchain architectures and models, offering insights into their applicability across different domains and use cases. Finally, this study culminates in the proposal of a comprehensive framework that encapsulates the essential elements necessary for understanding, implementing, and harnessing the transformative potential of blockchain technologies. The advent of autonomous vehicles has revolutionized the automotive industry, offering promising advancements in safety, efficiency, and mobility. To integrate these autonomous vehicles into our society seamlessly, it is imperative to establish a robust licensing system that ensures the safe operation of automated vehicles on public roads. This article presents an effective smart Driving Licensing System (SDLS), a digital framework designed to regulate the existing licensing system and authorize licensing for autonomous vehicles. Through a comprehensive assessment process, the system assesses the drivers and the autonomous vehicle’s ability to navigate various road conditions, respond to dynamic environments, and prioritize safety for passengers and other road users. SDLS integrates high-level security through facial and fingerprint verification for identity verification to preserve licensing data. Hacking and unauthorized access to autonomous vehicles is prevented by robust cybersecurity protocols. The key benefits of SDLS include automated data collection, integration of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and Internet of Things (IoT), smart application processing, real-time license checks, cybersecurity measures, automated testing, and digital certification. The proposed system offers a comprehensive approach to safely integrating autonomous vehicles into our transportation ecosystem. The autonomous vehicles are integrated with antennas at rooftops or into bumpers, depending upon the vehicle design which can be connected with the SDLS for signal communication. Furthermore, the SDLS establishes a framework for continuous monitoring and updates, enabling ongoing assessments to keep pace with evolving technology and safety standards. © 2024 by Begell House, Inc.

Research on Indoor Positioning Technology of WSN based on T-RL Partition Path Model

To address the issues of unstable received signal strength indicator(RSSI)and low indoor positioning accuracy caused by walls and obstacles,the propagation conditions of the wireless communication system are categorized into two distinct environments:line-of-sight(LOS)and non-line-of-sight(NLOS).In the LOS environment,the traditional logarithmic path loss model is *** the NLOS environment,the impact of walls on signal transmission is considered,leading to the development of a multi-wall path loss model based on the T-RL method,with improvements made to the key parameter,the Fresnel coefficient *** breakpoint value d=2.3 m in the partitioned model is determined,and the positional coordinates of the unknown nodes are calculated using the trilateration *** results indicate that the T-RL based multi-wall model improves localization accuracy by 47%in NLOS environments compared to the traditional logarithmic path loss *** average localization error using the T-RL partitioned path loss model is 0.7021 m,representing a 55.9%improvement over the logarithmic path loss model and a 16.8%enhancement over the T-RL attenuation multi-wall model,thereby providing better environmental adaptability.

In the realm of education, the pursuit of effective learning outcomes often faces the challenge of limited resources. This paper explores the intersection of maximizing learning outcomes and minimizing costs through a cost-effective approach to mobile learning (m-learning). Recognizing the ubiquitous presence of mobile devices and their potential to revolutionize learning, this study explores strategies that leverage the capabilities of mobile technology while being mindful of budgetary constraints. By leveraging the flexibility and accessibil- ity offered by m-learning platforms, educators can design engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learners needs. The paper investigates various cost-effective methodologies, including utilizing open-source software, repurposing existing resources, and adopting collaborative learning environments. Furthermore, it examines the role of scalable technologies and adaptive learning algorithms in optimizing resource allocation and per- sonalizing learning experiences. Through case studies and empirical analysis, this research illustrates how institutions and educators can achieve significant cost savings without com- promising the quality of educational delivery. This research looks at microwave devices, specifically, patch antenna along with electromagnetic spectrum, shape, mechanism, analytical methods, simulation tools, and feeding procedures. Patch antennas are distinguished by their rectangular form, with a patch on one side and a ground plane on the other. Patch antennas work by exciting electromagnetic waves inside the patch, which are subsequently transmitted into the surrounding environment. The report also outlines numerous ways for evaluating the performance of microstrip patch antennas. The electromagnetic characteristics of the antenna are analyzed using the transmission line model, cavity model, and multiport network model (MNM). The integral equations that regulate the behavior of the antenna are solved using the method of moments (MoM) and the finite element method (FEM). The spectral domain technique (SDT) is used to analyze the antenna’s frequency response, while the finite difference time domain (FDTD) approach is used to analyze the antenna’s time-domain behavior. Overall, these methodologies give a thorough understanding of microstrip patch antenna performance and may be utilized to optimize their design. Furthermore, several patch antenna feeding methods, such as probe feed, microstrip line feeding, aperture coupling, proximity coupling, and CPW feed, are investigated. Attaching a microstrip line to the patch, which is subsequently linked to the RF source, is what microstrip line feeding entails. Aperture coupling entails making a hole in the ground plane that allows the RF source to feed the patch directly. Proximity coupling is accomplished by placing a probe near the patch, which creates an electromagnetic field on the patch. Patch antenna simulation software includes programmers such as HFSS, CST, and FEKO. These tools simulate the patch antenna’s performance, including its radiation pattern, gain, and input impedance. FusionEXNet: an interpretable fused deep learning model for skin cancer detection

Skin cancer poses a significant burden on mankind and healthcare systems globally, necessitating the development of effective diagnostic and treatment strategies. This paper introduces FusionEXNet, an innovative and interpretable fused deep-learning model for skin cancer detection. FusionEXNet leverages the strengths of EfficientNetV2S and XceptionNet architectures to extract robust features from dermoscopic images, achieving superior performance compared to individual models. While XceptionNet and EfficientNetV2S attained accuracies of 88.82% and 88.01%, respectively, FusionEXNet surpassed them with an impressive accuracy of 90.83%. To enhance model interpretability, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques, such as SmoothGrad and Faster Score-CAM, are integrated, providing valuable insights into the decision-making process. The model was trained and evaluated using the extensive HAM10000 dataset, consisting of over 10,000 high-resolution images across seven skin lesion categories. The proposed FusionEXNet model offers a reliable, accurate, and interpretable system for skin cancer detection, contributing to improved patient outcomes and more efficient diagnostic processes. Resolution-aware beam scanning for joint detection and communication in ISAC systems

Beam scanning for joint detection and communication in integrated sensing and communication(ISAC) systems plays a critical role in continuous monitoring and rapid adaptation to dynamic environments. However, the design of sequential scanning beams for target detection with the required sensing resolution has not been tackled in the *** bridge this gap, this paper introduces a resolution-aware beam scanning design. In particular, the transmit information beamformer, the covariance matrix of the dedicated radar signal, and the receive beamformer are jointly optimized to maximize the average sum rate of the system while satisfying the sensing resolution and detection probability requirements.A block coordinate descent(BCD)-based optimization framework is developed to address the non-convex design problem. By exploiting successive convex approximation(SCA), S-procedure, and semidefinite relaxation(SDR), the proposed algorithm is guaranteed to converge to a stationary solution with polynomial time complexity. Simulation results show that the proposed design can efficiently handle the stringent detection requirement and outperform existing antenna-activation-based methods in the literature by exploiting the full degrees of freedom(DoFs) brought by all antennas.
