Federated learning (FL) is widely used in various fields because it can guarantee the privacy of the original data source. However, in data-sensitive fields such as Internet of Vehicles (IoV), insecure communication channels, semi-trusted RoadSide Unit (RSU), and collusion between vehicles and the RSU may lead to leakage of model parameters. Moreover, when aggregating data, since different vehicles usually have different computing resources, vehicles with relatively insufficient computing resources will affect the data aggregation efficiency. Therefore, in order to solve the privacy leakage problem and improve the data aggregation efficiency, this paper proposes a privacy-preserving data aggregation protocol for IoV with FL. Firstly, the protocol is designed based on methods such as shamir secret sharing scheme, pallier homomorphic encryption scheme and blinding factor protection, which can guarantee the privacy of model parameters. Secondly, the protocol improves the data aggregation efficiency by setting dynamic training time windows. Thirdly, the protocol reduces the frequent participations of Trusted Authority (TA) by optimizing the fault-tolerance mechanism. Finally, the security analysis proves that the proposed protocol is secure, and the performance analysis results also show that the proposed protocol has high computation and communication efficiency. Introduces an innovative application of 5G MIMO data in singular value decomposition (SVD) focusing on deep learning beam-selection and intelligent network analytics. This research explores the potential of leveraging 5G MIMO data to enhance network performance and efficiency through advanced ML techniques. Deep learning algorithms are employed for beam-selection, optimizing the transmission of data in 5G networks to improve throughput and reliability. Intelligent network analytics are applied to extract valuable insights from the vast amount of data generated by 5G MIMO systems, enabling proactive network management and optimization. By harnessing the capabilities of deep learning and intelligent analytics, this research aims to address key challenges in 5G network optimization and management. The integration of SVD techniques with 5G MIMO data offers a novel approach to enhancing network performance, enabling more efficient utilization of resources and improved quality of service for users. The insights gained from intelligent network analytics facilitate informed decision-making and proactive maintenance leading to greater reliability and resilience in 5G networks. A Fully LTPS-TFT-Based Bi-Directional Biomedical Interface Circuit for Large-Area Healthcare Applications

This paper proposed a fully LTPS-TFT-based bi-directional biomedical pixel interface with integrated a high linearity stimulator and a high-performance bio-potential sensing front-end circuit to amplify and digitize biological signals for high robustness data transmission. All circuits are designed and manufactured under a 3-μm LTPS process. We demonstrated the experiment in saline using the stimulator circuit to simulate stimulation inside the organism, achieving stimulation with different average currents under different duty cycles. The proposed front-end circuit has a gain of 40 dB. The referred input voltage noise of the entire signal chain is 86.2 μV/√Hz, and the ENOB is 9.13 bits at an input of 0.5 mVPP. Simultaneously conducting statistical testing on 20 chips has achieved a 1.05 dB SNDR standard deviation. Finally, we use a function signal generator to simulate the input signals of ECoG, ECG, and EOG, then use front-end circuits to read and reconstruct them to demonstrate that the proposed pixel interface can correctly read common biomedical signals for healthcare applications. © 2022 IEEE.

Utilization of Two Cross Two Switch for Bitonic Sorting Circuit

Background: The synthesis of reversible logic has gained prominence as a crucial research area, particularly in the context of post-CMOS computing devices, notably quantum computing. Objective: To implement the bitonic sorting circuit, 2x2 switch, is used. The overarching objective of implementing a reversible sorting circuit is to mitigate power consumption while promising secure communication. The successful implementation of the bitonic sorting circuit utilizing the proposed 2x2 switch is validated through simulations conducted in IBM Qiskit. Methods: This study begins by employing the control swap gate to implement a 2x2 switch, aimed at enabling concurrent computing operations within multiprocessor systems to enhance throughput. Subsequently, following the successful implementation of the 2x2 switch, the study proceeds to design a bitonic sorting circuit. Results: Bitonic sort using a 2x2 switch on the IBM Quantum Experience (IBMQ) platform via the QISKit SDK in Python 3.6. Specifically, Qiskit v0.29.0 is utilized, with OpenQASM. OpenQASM serves as the quantum assembly and instruction language. Conclusion: This work presents a methodology for constructing a 2x2 switch, utilizing a reversible control swap gate as its core component. Additionally, it demonstrates the intricate development and implementation of a bitonic sorting circuit, capitalizing on this innovative switch architecture. © 2025 Bentham Science Publishers.

Early detection of stroke disease using patients previous medical data instil with deep learning

Early detection of any disease and starting its treatment in this early stage are the most important steps in case of any life-threatening disease. Stroke is not an exception in this regard which is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. We develop a simple but efficient deep neural network for the stroke prediction that accurately evaluates the probability of occurrence of stroke disease by treating this as a binary classification problem on one of the standard datasets named as Stroke Prediction Dataset available on Kaggle. With the help of effective pre-processing techniques such as SMOTE and FastICA on the noisy and imbalanced dataset, we could achieve improved performance for the binary classification of stroke prediction by employing a deep dense neural network. The architectural hyper-parameters are critically designed with the help of Keras Tuner and consisting of just ten layers in the deep dense neural network. With the help of this light weight deep dense model, we report an accuracy of 95%, AUC Score of 100% and F1-Score of 95% on a testing set. Moreover, we also present comparative illustration of various machine learning models for the aforesaid task along with the comparative illustration of various state of the arts with our proposed model for the stroke prediction. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Noise robust automatic speech recognition: review and analysis

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) system is an emerging technology used in various fields such as robotics, traffic controls, and healthcare, etc. The leading cause of ASR performance degradation is mismatch between the training and testing environments. The main reason for this mismatch is the presence of noise during the testing phase of an ASR system. Various techniques have been used by different researchers in front and backend phases of ASR, to detect and handle the noise. However, a very few review papers have considered noise as a criterion to present the comparison among the existing research works. Hence, the objective of this survey is to analyze and review all the effective methods proposed by different scientists and researchers to boost the noise robustness of an ASR system. Initially, the paper discusses the basic architecture of an ASR system, the factors affecting the its performance, and noise problem formulation. Secondly, the work analysis existing state of the art noise robust ASR methods in terms of front end feature extraction techniques and backend classification model. Then, a detailed review in terms of various speech databases, that are used by these methods, is given. Finally, an analysis in terms of performance metrics of all these noise-resistant ASR techniques is presented. Also, the paper discusses various feature extraction techniques, backend classification methods, different speech databases and performance metrics in detail, while presenting the analysis. In signal processing and communication systems,digital filters are widely *** some circumstances,the reliability of those systems is crucial,necessitating the use of fault tolerant filter *** strategies have been presented throughout the years to achieve fault tolerance by utilising the structure and properties of the *** technology advances,more complicated systems with several filters become *** of the filters in those complicated systems frequently function in parallel,for example,by applying the same filter to various input ***,a simple strategy for achieving fault tolerance that takes advantage of the availability of parallel filters was *** fault-tolerant ways that take advantage of the filter’s structure and properties have been proposed throughout the *** primary idea is to use structured authentication scan chains to study the internal states of finite impulse response(FIR)components in order to detect and recover the exact state of faulty modules through the state of non-faulty ***,a simple solution of Double modular redundancy(DMR)based fault tolerance was developed that takes advantage of the availability of parallel filters for image *** approach is expanded in this short to display how parallel filters can be protected using error correction codes(ECCs)in which each filter is comparable to a bit in a standard ECC.“Advanced error recovery for parallel systems,”the suggested technique,can find and eliminate hidden defects in FIR modules,and also restore the system from multiple failures impacting two FIR *** the implementation,Xilinx ISE 14.7 was found to have given significant error reduction capability in the fault calculations and reduction in the area which reduces the cost of *** were introduced in all the outputs of the functional filters and found that the fault in every output is corrected.

Road obstacles that unexpectedly appear due to vehicle breakdowns and accidents are major causes of fatal road *** Autonomous Vehicles(CAVs)can be used to avoid collisions to ensure road safety through cooperative sensing and ***,the collision avoidance performance of CAVs with unexpected obstacles has not been studied in the existing *** this paper,we first design a platoon-based collision avoidance framework for *** this framework,we deploy a Digital Twin(DT)system at the head vehicle in a platoon to reduce communication overhead and decision-making delay based on a proposed trajectory planning *** addition,a DT-assistant system is deployed on the assistant vehicle to monitor vehicles out of the sensing range of the head vehicle for the maintenance of the DT *** this case,the transmission frequency of kinetic states of platoon members can be reduced to ensure low-overhead ***,we design a variable resource reservation interval that can ensure DT synchronization between DT and the assistant system with high *** further improve road safety,an urgency level-based trajectory planning algorithm is proposed to avoid unexpected obstacles considering different levels of emergency *** results show that our DT system-based scheme can achieve significant performance gains in unexpected obstacle *** to the existing schemes,it can reduce collisions by 95%and is faster by about 10%passing by the unexpected obstacle.
