In the field of nuclear engineering, national colleges have been carrying out important roles with about 10 % of graduates obtaining jobs in nuclear related companies. Although national colleges do not have special courses and classes for nuclear engineering, we have been trying to educate our students in cooperation with universities and industries through the activities of the Japan Nuclear Human Resource Development Network. With aide from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, we have been developing a short term curriculum for nuclear education consisting of lectures, experiments and facility tours. Moreover, we have developed a textbook for nuclear engineering basics and texts for experiments. In order to let the students understand the background of radiation, radiation dose measurements have been conducted by the students of more than 33 colleges. In the fiscal year of 2015, a new trial of remote lecture connecting 51 national colleges began. Through these education programs, we aim to help our students to understand radiation and nuclear engineering correctly, and to have their own opinions on this important matter.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an essential role in fabrication of components with high quality and low cost. In additive manufacturing, Fusion Deposition Modeling (FDM) is an effective technique to fabricate metal and non metals. The polycarbonate (PC) has more attractive properties such as strength, toughness, high temperature resistance and layer bonding. It is accumulated to the aluminium 7075 alloy by fusion deposition modeling technique. The adhesive strength between polycarbonate and aluminium depends on the layers. In this paper, FDM process parameters and data were analyzed through IoT. The microcontroller, network and sensors have been used to develop the FDM process. The layer strength was measured with the change of peel angle, speed and peeling force. The maximum layer strength and optimal factors have been analyzed through taguchi method.

Abstract Problem of scheduling n preemptive jobs on a single processor is studied, in which for each job a distinct due window is given in advance. If a job is completed within its due window, then it incurs no penalty. Otherwise, it incurs a job-independent earliness or tardiness cost. The objective is to find a job schedule such that a maximum of weighted costs associated with earliness and tardiness is minimized. Properties of optimal solutions of this problem are established and an algorithm based on them is presented. It is proved that the analysed problem is solvable in O ( n 2 ) time.
