In our daily lives, sentiment analysis is essential. People usually make decisions after seeking advice from others. We used to rely on our judgments before the internet on the advice of our friends and relatives. But now, we have high-performance source sentiment analysis, which collects and analyses opinions from a variety of channels, including social media. To correctly represent emotion in a phrase, we must concentrate on idioms, sarcasm, negations, and context terms. A range of deep learning and machine learning techniques can be used to overcome the aforementioned issues. The aforementioned parameter will be used by the algorithm to identify the polarity of a statement. This study proposal covers the problems with sentiment analysis as well as its numerous levels. The review talks about the challenges and particularities of sentiment analysis. These have to do with issues like textual information, peculiarities of language, emotional vocabulary relevant to particular domains, and security and confidentiality of data. The report also emphasizes how sentiment analysis might promote public healthcare initiatives, boost pharmaceutical methods for making choices, as well as improve patient care.

The polar regions of the Earth, specifically the Arctic and Antarctic, play a pivotal role in regulating the planet’s climate systems. These regions are highly sensitive to climate change, with observable shifts such as diminishing sea ice, retreating glaciers, and rising temperatures. Understanding these dynamics is essential for predicting broader global climate impacts. This paper presents a novel approach for monitoring and predicting these changes by integrating an attention-based transformer model with a 3D convolutional neural network (3D-CNN). The proposed model is designed to capture both the spatial features of satellite imagery and the temporal dynamics of climate data, offering enhanced predictive capabilities for key climate variables such as sea ice extent, glacier movement, and temperature variations. The dataset was split into 80% training and 20% testing with tenfold cross-validation, and the model was trained using the Adam optimizer. The results show that the proposed model achieved a remarkable accuracy of 97.43%, outperforming traditional CNN and RNN models. The model also demonstrated a precision of 98.12% for sea ice extent prediction, a 96.45% precision for glacier movement detection, and a mean squared error (MSE) of 0.35 °C for temperature predictions. These findings suggest that deep learning models, specifically the integration of transformer and 3D-CNN architectures, can significantly contribute to polar region climate monitoring, offering improved tools for scientific research and policymaking. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024. corrected publication 2024.

Peak picking is a crucial step in the data analysis workflow of Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) in untargeted metabolomics. The process is challenging due to interference from background signals such as noise and matrix effects. To address this challenge, we first collected 5,447 ion peaks and manually scored them after alignment. Next, we calculated 12 quality metrics for each ion peak. Finally, we developed a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) model to perform regression analysis, as well as binary and ternary classification, making it adaptable to various application scenarios. The results demonstrate that the MLP-based peak evaluation method is effective in accurately predicting peak quality. Researchers can quickly initiate their work by setting just one or two score thresholds based on their specific needs. This approach retains the flexibility to handle different datasets without the need to adjust thresholds for each peak quality metric, representing a step towards more flexible and efficient peak picking. © 2024 IEEE.

Machine learning based intelligent approach is applied to finding spam in YouTube videos. Spam comments are ones that are promotional or unrelated. A growing number of users have been drawn to the idea of making money by placing advertisements on popular social networking platforms over time. These remarks damage a channel's reputation. YouTube has addressed the issue with a limited set of solutions that concentrate on preventing comments from including links. Such heuristics are now futile since spammers have found ways to get around them. Despite the fact that common machine learning classification techniques have demonstrated considerable success, new methods can still increase accuracy. Therefore, this research attempt to identify such statements using machine learning techniques like Random Forest, SVM, and Naive Bayes. In order to convey a clear concept, graphs are used to illustrate data cleaning, data analysis, text preparation, and model building in this research.

In this paper, the problem of resource allocation for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) enabled secure federated learning (FL) is investigated. In the considered model, a set of users participate in the FL training through transmitting their trained FL model parameters to the base stations (BSs) via NOMA techniques. To prevent data leakage, each user uses the differential privacy (DP) technique through adding Gaussian noise to its FL model parameters. The problem of minimizing overall privacy leakage of all FL participaring users is formulated as an optimization problem through jointly optimizing the connections between users and BSs, transmit power of the users, and the DP noise power. To solve the formulated non-convex optimization problem, a genetic algorithm is proposed to search for feasible solutions in which user connection matrix is taken as gene and the objective function value is taken as the fitness of solution. Simulation results show that the proposed genetic algorithm reduces privacy leakage by up to 73% compared to the conventional alternating optimization algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Novel signal-consistency test for gravitational-wave searches of generic black hole binaries

We propose a novel signal-consistency test applicable to a broad search for gravitational waves emitted by generic binary black hole (BBH) systems. The test generalizes the time domain ξ2 signal-consistency test currently utilized by the gstlal pipeline, which quantifies the discrepancy between the expected signal-to-noise ratio time series with the measured one. While the traditional test is restricted to aligned-spin circular orbits and does not account for higher-order modes (HMs), our test does not make any assumption on the nature of the signal. After addressing the mathematical details of the new test, we quantify its advantages in the context of searching for precessing BBHs and/or BBHs with HM content. Our results reveal that, for precessing signals, the new test is optimal and has the potential to reduce the values of the ξ2 statistics by up to 2 orders of magnitude when compared to the standard test. However, in the case of signals with HM content, only a modest enhancement is observed. Recognizing the computational burden associated with the new test, we also derive an approximated signal-consistency test. This approximation maintains the same computational cost as the standard test and can be easily implemented in any matched-filtering pipeline with minimal changes, sacrificing only a few percent of accuracy in the low-SNR regime. However, in the high-SNR regime, the approximated signal-consistency test does not bring any improvement as compared to the “standard” one. By introducing our new test and its approximation and understanding their validity and limitation, this work will benefit any matched-filtering pipeline aimed at searching for BBH signals with strong precession and/or HM content.

Network security is a critical issue in modern technology. Honey pot-based intrusion detection methods provide an additional layer of security and enhance network performance by analyzing hacker behaviour and detecting unauthorized clients. IP validation and vulnerability detection are used to ensure authorized customer access and prevent illegal client activity. A voice recognition system detects malicious attacks in stage two. If authorized, packets are passed to the server, otherwise, they are delivered to honeypot servers. Using Naive Bayes algorithm, the detection rate is 85.06% with an accuracy of 98.18% and a false alarm rate of 0.15 seconds. © 2023 IEEE.

Slot filling and intent detection are two highly correlated tasks in spoken language understanding (SLU). Recent SLU research attempts to explore zero-shot prompting techniques in large language models to alleviate the data scarcity problem. Nevertheless, the existing prompting work ignores the cross-task interaction information for SLU, which leads to sub-optimal performance. To solve this problem, we present the pioneering work of Cross-task Interactive Prompting (CroPrompt) for SLU, which enables the model to interactively leverage the information exchange across the correlated tasks in SLU. Additionally, we further introduce a multi-task self-consistency mechanism to mitigate the error propagation caused by the intent information injection. We conduct extensive experiments on the standard SLU benchmark and the results reveal that CroPrompt consistently outperforms the existing prompting approaches. In addition, the multi-task self-consistency mechanism can effectively ease the error propagation issue, thereby enhancing the performance. We hope this work can inspire more research on cross-task prompting for SLU. © 2025 IEEE.

Depression is a pervasive mental health condition affecting millions of individuals including adolescents worldwide. In spite of the growing awareness of mental health issues, access to timely and personalized support remains a challenge. The advent of technology has offered new possibilities for providing support and assistance to those grappling with depression. This paper introduces a web-based chatbot called HelpBot. This chatbot is designed to be an innovative personal companion to offer personalized support, and encouragement to adolescents facing depression. By analyzing user's chat, the HelpBot tailors its responses and recommendations to suit individual needs. This personalized approach enhances the effectiveness of the support provided, offering a more meaningful and relevant experience for each user. The development of the HelpBot utilized .NET Framework technology, Natural Language Processing Technique (NLP) and Template based approach. The technology of .NET is used to create a dynamic web-based application, NLP technique is use to synthesize user's chat, and the template-based approach is used to offer a personalized response. © 2024 ACM.

Agriculture faces many challenges of precision farming, such as the need for sustainable practices, improving yields, ensuring high yields. In resolution to these challenges, the present research provides an AI-based system that enables the use of deep learning, Global Positioning System (GPS), and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies to create a highly intelligent smart agricultural precision farming system. Its goal is to monitoring crop health and reduce disease risk, which will lead to improved resource utilization and environmentally sustainability techniques. The proposed framework addresses the urgent need for consistency in agricultural practices, especially as global agriculture deals with pressures from climate change, resource shortages, and increasing demand for food. Traditional agricultural methods for predicting and optimizing crop yields due to increasing factors affecting crop performance Not enough generative AI, especially the use of deep learning models, supports agricultural research in many cases, allowing patterns to be identified and future results to be predicted accurately. The integration of GPS and GIS allows for more accurate mapping, real-time analysis, and effective decision-making. Weather forecasting variability, resource constraints, and demand for more food are isolated from environmental influences using deep learning models, especially Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). By using large data sets, including historical crop yield performance, soil properties, and weather conditions, the system provides highly accurate crop forecasts. Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and You Only Look Once (YOLO) hybrid model is playing a key role in generating crop yield and growth potential under different conditions, adjusting model accuracy over time, and this combination of ANN, GANs and YOLO optimization algorithms ensures that the system continuously enhances its predictive accuracy and overall effectiveness.
