Day by day, the role of data science and machine learning in cricket is increasing due to the large amount of data generated from a single player on a whole line. The field of data science is the intensive study of data to extract insights and knowledge from the data and apply the acquired knowledge and actionable insights. These available data and statistics are used to predict things like the team's first-innings score and the probability of winning the second team, etc. This study works on Indian Premier League (IPL) data Analysis 2022 and data Visualization for the duration (2008-2020) using Python. This application modules are followed by preprocessing, data analysis, and visualization, and finally create a model that predicts the team's overall score and the probability of winning. When building models, python algorithms such as Numpy is used for S cientific computing, Pandas used to perform data Analysis, and finally Matplotlib and S eaborn to enable data Visualization. Finally, this paper helps the trainers and owners of the team during the auction to select an emerging player to win the matches in the entire season and to win the trophy and to get profit to the owners by the profit strategy done in this analysis report. © 2023 IEEE.

Patch is enough: naturalistic adversarial patch against vision-language pre-training models

Visual language pre-training (VLP) models have demonstrated significant success in various domains, but they remain vulnerable to adversarial attacks. Addressing these adversarial vulnerabilities is crucial for enhancing security in multi-modal learning. Traditionally, adversarial methods that target VLP models involve simultaneous perturbation of images and text. However, this approach faces significant challenges. First, adversarial perturbations often fail to translate effectively into real-world scenarios. Second, direct modifications to the text are conspicuously visible. To overcome these limitations, we propose a novel strategy that uses only image patches for attacks, thus preserving the integrity of the original text. Our method leverages prior knowledge from diffusion models to enhance the authenticity and naturalness of the perturbations. Moreover, to optimize patch placement and improve the effectiveness of our attacks, we utilize the cross-attention mechanism, which encapsulates inter-modal interactions by generating attention maps to guide strategic patch placement. Extensive experiments conducted in a white-box setting for image-to-text scenarios reveal that our proposed method significantly outperforms existing techniques, achieving a 100% attack success rate. © The Author(s) 2024.

Instantons in ϕ4 theories: Transseries, virial theorems, and numerical aspects

We discuss numerical aspects of instantons in two- and three-dimensional ϕ4 theories with an internal O(N) symmetry group, the so-called N-vector model. By combining asymptotic transseries expansions for large arguments with convergence acceleration techniques, we obtain high-precision values for certain integrals of the instanton that naturally occur in loop corrections around instanton configurations. Knowledge of these numerical properties is necessary in order to evaluate corrections to the large-order factorial growth of perturbation theory in ϕ4 theories. The results contribute to the understanding of the mathematical structures underlying the instanton configurations.

Exploring the Efficacy and Limitations of Histogram-Based Fake Image Detection

Generative image models pose challenges to image authenticity and trustworthiness, blurring the line between real and fake content. This paper addresses these concerns by proposing a histogram-based approach using pre-trained models (vgg16, ResNet50, Xception) to train classification networks for distinguishing real from generated images. Leveraging histograms derived from images, the method aims to accurately classify images as authentic or synthetic. Through experiments, the paper examines the effectiveness of the approach in mitigating the risks associated with fake contents widespread dissemination. Results demonstrate promising advancements in detecting image manipulation and preserving the integrity of visual information amidst the spread of generative models. Using pre-trained models the paper shows high classification accuracy for detecting fake images.

Brain tumors are a serious health concern caused by the abnormal growth of cells in or around the brain. These tumors can either be benign or malignant. Few of the causes for Brain tumors are genetic mutations, exposure to radiation, or environmental factors. Early detection of brain tumors is essential for effective treatment and improved patient outcomes. To address this, a novel approach has been proposed for brain tumor detection using transfer learning with the VGG-16 convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture. By leveraging the pre-trained VGG-16 model on the ImageNet dataset, which provides a broad range of data for learning and representing complex features of various objects, meaningful features can be extracted from MRI scans and differentiate between tumor and normal tissue accurately. This refined VGG-16 model can provide a more precise and reliable diagnosis, which is crucial for successful treatment. This research study demonstrates that the utilization of VGG-16 model for brain tumor diagnosis can provide an efficient and accurate method for identifying brain tumors. Moreover, this approach can be applied to develop automated systems to assist medical professionals in diagnosing and treating brain tumors more effectively.

The traditional Radio-Frequency Systems (RFS) authentication methods, designed to ensure secure data transmission on the web, may not always effectively prevent adversaries from gaining access to concealed IDs or asymmetric cryptography through infiltrative, side-channel, training, and computer attacks. In contrast, Unaccounted Information (UAI) has the potential to exploit irregularities in production systems to automatically identify microchips, offering a highly robust and cost-effective security solution. This approach introduces RFS-UAI, a deep neural network-based system that efficiently manages wireless node identification by leveraging synthetic RFS characteristics of remote controls (Tx) learned through supervised methods in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Unlike traditional methods that require the development of specialized transistors for UAI or semantic segmentation, this approach utilizes the existing asymmetrical RFS communication networks. Similar to the way the human brain processes information, Rx handles the entire device identification process at the gateway. According to test results, which include assessing process capability at a specified 65 nm threshold voltage and characteristics such as Local Oscillator (LO) misalignment and I-Q disparity using a probabilistic model with 52 hidden units, the system can distinguish up to 4800 transmitters with a remarkable 99.9 % accuracy under various channel conditions, all without the need for regular preambles. This recommended method can serve as a standalone security measure or be integrated into a biometric identification system. © 2024 The Authors

India, whose population growth is its greatest asset cannot afford to let its people eat confectionery that is either tainted or somehow polluted, since this would lead to extensive malnutrition. Traditional food supply chains are characterized by centralization and the problems associated with it such as having a single point of failure and producing inconsistent products while compromising the quality, along with data loss. With the need for daily reports in all regions of India regarding food fraud, contamination, and adulteration, a clearly advanced decentralized model is sought after for the creation of a supply chain. This paper introduces the supply chain network for the Indian confectionery market based on blockchain to better address quality claims, contamination, and transparency. This enables real-time traceability within the ecosystem, by using IoT strategies along with the Ethereum blockchain leading to better product authentication and resulting in higher consumer confidence. Blockchain creates a secure data tracking function, while smart contracts can be used to define the process - such as IoT monitoring of temperature. The united method enables verified data to be available to the consumer, energy efficiency, and trust across the supply chain.

Exploring Hierarchical Molecular Graph Representation in Multimodal LLMs

Following the milestones in large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models, we have seen a surge in applying LLMs to biochemical tasks. Leveraging graph features and molecular text representations, LLMs can tackle various tasks, such as predicting chemical reaction outcomes and describing molecular properties. However, most current work overlooks the multi-level nature of the graph modality, even though different chemistry tasks may benefit from different feature levels. In this work, we first study the effect of feature granularity and reveal that even reducing all GNN-generated feature tokens to a single one does not significantly impact model performance. We then investigate the effect of various graph feature levels and demonstrate that both the quality of LLM-generated molecules and model performance across different tasks depend on different graph feature levels. Therefore, we conclude with two key insights: (1) current molecular-related multimodal LLMs lack a comprehensive understanding of graph features, and (2) static processing is not sufficient for hierarchical graph feature. We share our findings in detail, with the hope of paving the way for the community to develop more advanced multimodal LLMs for incorporating molecular graphs. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. To address the inefficiency of traditional methods for person-job matching and the lack of interpretability of deep learning approaches, a novel approach for person-job matching based on BM25 and pre-trained language models is proposed. First, the BM25 algorithm is utilized to perform an initial screening of resumes based on job descriptions. By calculating the matching degree of keywords, it rapidly filters out candidate resumes that do not align with the job requirements. Subsequently, the pre-trained language model BERT is employed to perform fine-grained sorting of the resumes that passed the initial screening, identifying the candidates that best match with the job. By combining the screening capability of the BM25 algorithm with the semantic understanding ability of pre-trained language models, this method enhances the accuracy and interpretability of person-job matching results while maintaining matching speed. Furthermore, to improve model generalization, large-scale language models are employed for data augmentation. Experimental results indicate the significant potential for the proposed approach in practical applications, offering improved solutions for the challenges of talent recruitment across diverse job demands.

In multi-site brain disease diagnosis studies, traditional centralized training methods necessitate sharing medical data, posing significant privacy risks. Federated learning (FL) offers a privacy-preserving solution by enabling global model training through aggregating locally trained models from multiple data centers without sharing raw data. However, current FL approaches rely on a server-based network topology, where central server failure disrupts training. Additionally, data heterogeneity across sites often slows convergence and reduces accuracy. To overcome these issues, we introduce a decentralized personalized federated learning collaborative aggregation network (pFedCAN). This framework has two core components: (1) separating local models into shared and personalized layers, and (2) forming a collaborative aggregation network via similarity detection in the shared layers. Specifically, each center trains its local model, then separates it into shared and personalized layers. The shared layer is exchanged with other centers, while the personalized layer remains local. data centers analyze similarities in received shared layers to build a collaborative network, where shared layers from similar centers are aggregated to refine the model. This approach flexibly adapts to varying levels of data heterogeneity, enhancing model training efficiency. Validation on public datasets, ABIDE I and ADHD, shows that the proposed method outperforms current leading techniques. © 2024 IEEE.
