Review spam detection aims to detect the reviews with false information posted by the spammers on social media. The existing methods of review spam detection ignore the importance of the information hidden in the user interactive behaviors and fail to extract the indistinct contextual features caused by irregular writing style of reviews. In this paper, a new review spam detection method based on multi-dimensional features is proposed. The method utilizes the principal component analysis to get low-dimensional features to characterize the user-product relationship. Then, a neural network constructed with nested LSTM and capsule network is trained to extract textual context features and spatial structure features. Finally, the model combines the text and user behavioral features as the overall features, which are used as the input to the classification module to detect spam reviews. Experimental results show that the F1 value of our proposed method is 1.6%~3.5% higher than the existing methods, indicating the efficiency and effectiveness of our model, especially on the natural distribution datasets. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

With the development of blockchain technology, a cryptocurrency based on blockchain technology is becoming more and more popular. The huge cryptocurrency transaction network has therefore received widespread attention. The link prediction learning structure of the network is supportive to understand the mechanism of networks, so it also has been widely studied in the cryptocurrency network. However, the dynamics of cryptocurrency transaction networks have been neglected in past studies. In this study, therefore, we use a graph-regularized method to link past transaction records with future transactions. Based on this, we propose a single latent factor-dependent, nonnegative, multiplicative, and graph regularized-incorporated update (SLF-NMGRU) algorithm and further propose a graph regularized nonnegative latent factor analysis (GrNLFA) model. Eventually, the experimental results on a real cryptocurrency transaction network show that the proposed method improves both the accuracy and computational efficiency.

Quantum metrology with entangled resources aims to achieve sensitivity beyond the standard quantum limit by harnessing quantum effects even in the presence of environmental noise. So far, sensitivity has been mainly discussed from the viewpoint of reducing statistical errors under the assumption of perfect knowledge of a noise model. However, we cannot always obtain complete information about a noise model due to coherence time fluctuations, which are frequently observed in experiments. Such unknown fluctuating noise leads to systematic errors and nullifies the quantum advantages. Here, we propose an error-mitigated quantum metrology that can filter out unknown fluctuating noise with the aid of purification-based quantum error mitigation. We demonstrate that our protocol mitigates systematic errors and recovers superclassical scaling in a practical situation with time-inhomogeneous bias-inducing noise. Our result is the first demonstration to reveal the usefulness of purification-based error mitigation for unknown fluctuating noise, thus paving the way not only for practical quantum metrology but also for quantum computation affected by such noise.

SoftTRR: Protect Page Tables against RowHammer Attacks using Software-only Target Row Refresh

Rowhammer attacks that corrupt level-1 page tables to gain kernel privilege are the most detrimental to system security and hard to mitigate. However, recently proposed software-only mitigations are not effective against such kernel privilege escalation attacks. In this paper, we propose an effective and practical software-only defense, called SoftTRR, to protect page tables from all existing rowhammer attacks on x86. The key idea of SoftTRR is to refresh the rows occupied by page tables when a suspicious rowhammer activity is detected. SoftTRR is motivated by DRAM-chip-based target row refresh (ChipTRR) but eliminates its main security limitation (i.e., ChipTRR tracks a limited number of rows and thus can be bypassed by many-sided hammer [16]). Specifically, SoftTRR protects an unlimited number of page tables by tracking memory accesses to the rows that are in close proximity to page-table rows and refreshing the page-table rows once the tracked access count exceeds a pre-defined threshold. We implement a prototype of SoftTRR as a loadable kernel module, and evaluate its security effectiveness, performance overhead, and memory consumption. The experimental results show that SoftTRR protects page tables from real-world rowhammer attacks and incurs small performance overhead as well as memory cost. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. A recommender system (RS) commonly adopts a High-dimensional and sparse (HiDS) matrix to describe user-item preferences. Collaborative Filtering (CF)-based models have been widely adopted to address such an HiDS matrix. However, a CF-based model is unable to learn the property distribution characteristic of user’s preference from an HiDS matrix, thereby its representation ability is limited. To address this issue, this paper proposes a Model Regularization Wasserstein GAN(MRWGAN) to extract the distribution of user’s preferences. Its main ideas are two-fold: a) adopting an auto-encoder to implement the generator model of GAN; b) proposing a model-regularized Wasserstein distance as an objective function to training a GAN model. Empirical studies on four HiDS matrices from industrial applications demonstrate that compared with state-of-the-art models, the proposed model achieves higher prediction accuracy for missing data of an HiDS matrix.

The mechanical design experiment is a comprehensive experimental course that can cultivate the preliminary engineering practice ability of machinery students. Due to the high requirements for students' basic knowledge and ability of comprehensive application of knowledge, teaching is difficult and the teaching effect is general. This paper uses the MOOC teaching method, a new network-based teaching model, to study the experimental teaching of mechanical design and the construction of virtual simulation experiment teaching system under the new situation. Firstly, analyze the advantages in experimental teaching of mechanical design under virtual simulation experiment. Secondly, it puts forward suggestions for constructing the virtual simulation experiment teaching system of mechanical design, and discusses the advantages of the combination of MOOC and virtual simulation experiment technology, opportunities and reforms under the new situation. Lastly, it can be concluded that by using MOOC and virtual simulation experiments can break through the limitations of traditional teaching and improve teaching. This paper applies the MOOC and virtual simulation experiment to the experimental teaching of mechanical design, can not only improve the teaching of teachers, but also cultivate the practical ability and thinking innovation ability of machinery students. Robust Optimization for Quantum Reinforcement Learning Control using Partial Observations

The current quantum reinforcement learning control models often assume that the quantum states are known a priori for control optimization. However, full observation of quantum state is experimentally infeasible due to the exponential scaling of the number of required quantum measurements on the number of qubits. In this paper, we investigate a robust reinforcement learning method using partial observations to overcome this difficulty. This control scheme is compatible with near-term quantum devices, where the noise is prevalent and predetermining the dynamics of quantum state is practically impossible. We show that this simplified control scheme can achieve similar or even better performance when compared to the conventional methods relying on full observation. We demonstrate the effectiveness of this scheme on examples of quantum state control and quantum approximate optimization algorithm. It has been shown that high-fidelity state control can be achieved even if the noise amplitude is at the same level as the control amplitude. Besides, an acceptable level of optimization accuracy can be achieved for QAOA with noisy control Hamiltonian. This robust control optimization model can be trained to compensate the uncertainties in practical quantum computing. © 2022, CC BY.

Robust Secure UAV Communications With the Aid of Jamming Beamforming

This paper investigates an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-base station (BS) integrated network, where a UAV transmits downlink secrecy data to multiple ground cognitive users while a ground BS utilizes jamming beamforming to help the UAV counter the eavesdropping attack of a ground eavesdropper. In particular, we consider the imperfect eavesdropping and jamming channel state information (CSI) related to the eavesdropper. To maximize the minimum sum secrecy rate of the cognitive users, a robust secure transmission scheme is proposed. The UAV trajectory, UAV transmit power, BS beamforming, and user scheduling are jointly optimized with the constraints of the communication quality of the primary users served by the BS and the UAV available propulsion energy. We formulate a non-convex optimization problem which is challenging to be solved mathematically, and we utilize an alternating optimization technique to divide the original problem into three sub-problems, i.e., UAV trajectory sub-problem, transmit power sub-problem, and user scheduling sub-problem. Besides, they can be solved by the successive convex approximation, semi-definite relaxation and S-procedure, and bivariate relaxation methods, respectively. Moreover, we explore the impact of different parameters of the proposed transmission scheme on the minimum sum secrecy rate of the cognitive users, and verify the superiority of the proposed robust secure transmission scheme design. © 1972-2012 IEEE.

The seedling stage is important in the growth and development of maize, and it is also a critical period that affects maize yield and quality. Accurately recognizing this stage of maize is challenging, as current maize seedling detection methods struggle with small sizes and complex environments. This paper proposes a rapid maize seedling detection method that emphasizes spatial feature extraction in the receptive field and cross-dimensional interaction—receptive field triplet attention YOLO (RFT-YOLO). First, we design a convolutional module for cross-dimensional information interaction within the receptive field. Second, we introduce an advanced selective fusion network, which boosts the multi-scale fusion capability of small object features while reducing the GFLOPs of the model. Additionally, we employ Inner-IoU to diminish sensitivity to positional biases of small objects and expedite the convergence of the loss function. Finally, we create a dataset of maize seedlings to conduct our experiments. Experimental results demonstrate that the RFT-YOLO significantly enhances performance, reducing the number of parameters by 35.3% and GFLOPs by 14.24%, compared to the baseline model. Moreover, the mean average precision (mAP) improves from 89.6% to 91.5%. These improvements confirm the model's effectiveness in detecting maize seedlings.

The Internet of Things (IoT) collects large volumes of diverse data, with graph data as a critical component, and extensively utilizes Federated Graph Learning (FGL) to process this data while preserving data security. However, the graph data collected by different IoT institutions are relatively independent due to various factors (e.g., data collection methods, geographical locations), and data access is restricted to local environments due to privacy constraints, IoT institutions typically possess heterogeneous feature spaces. Aggregating under these conditions could potentially contaminate local graph representations. Unfortunately, most existing FGL methods tend to overlook this issue. To address this challenge, we propose Federated Graph Learning via Constructing and Sharing Features (FedCSF), a novel FGL framework designed to build a globally consistent feature space and share it among IoT institutions. To construct and extract the feature space, we employ an uniform feature initialization across IoT institutions and design an encoder to extract both global and local feature relationships, thereby facilitating effective collaboration across data from different IoT institutions. Furthermore, we introduce an independent adaptive aggregation strategy to eliminate the integration of harmful knowledge, ensuring that the contributions from each IoT institution are effectively integrated into the global model. We theoretically analyze the convergence of FedCSF. To validate the effectiveness of FedCSF, we conducted extensive experiments under various settings (i.e., cross-datasets, and cross-domains), demonstrating its significant advantages of FedCSF in terms of performance, convergence speed, and practical adaptability © 2014 IEEE.
