Recent research provides evidence for the presence of emergent semantics in collaborative tagging systems. While several methods have been proposed, little is known about the factors that influence the evolution of semantic structures in these systems. A natural hypothesis is that the quality of the emergent semantics depends on the pragmatics of tagging: Users with certain usage patterns might contribute more to the resulting semantics than others. In this work, we propose several measures which enable a pragmatic differentiation of taggers by their degree of contribution to emerging semantic structures. We distinguish between categorizers, who typically use a small set of tags as a replacement for hierarchical classification schemes, and describers, who are annotating resources with a wealth of freely associated, descriptive keywords. To study our hypothesis, we apply semantic similarity measures to 64 different partitions of a real-world and large-scale folksonomy containing different ratios of categorizers and describers. Our results not only show that "verbose" taggers are most useful for the emergence of tag semantics, but also that a subset containing only 40% of the most 'verbose' taggers can produce results that match and even outperform the semantic precision obtained from the whole dataset. Moreover, the results suggest that there exists a causal link between the pragmatics of tagging and resulting emergent semantics. This work is relevant for designers and analysts of tagging systems interested (i) in fostering the semantic development of their platforms, (ii) in identifying users introducing "semantic noise", and (iii) in learning ontologies. © 2010 International World Wide Web Conference Committee (IW3C2).

According to the matrix computation of the traditional NDVI algorithm calculate slowly on CPU, the paper puts forward a new type of NDVI algorithm based on GPU. And we use the CUDA programming language to realize it based on NVIDIA GPU. Experimental results show that the new type of NDVI algorithm significantly improved the execution speed of the algorithm. Compared with the serial CPU program, the maximum acceleration ratio is up to 8X in our experiment. © 2013 IEEE.

Role mining and setup affect the usage of role-based access control(RBAC).Traditionally,user's role and permission assigning are manipulated by security administrator of ***,the cost is expensive and the operating process is complex.A new role analyzing method was proposed by generating mappings and using them to provide recommendation for *** relation among sets of permissions,roles and users was explored by generating mappings,and the relation between sets of users and attributes was analyzed by means of the concept lattice model,generating a critical mapping between the attribute and permission sets,and making the meaning of the role natural and ***,a role is determined by permission set and user's *** generated mappings were used to automatically assign permissions and roles to new *** results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and efficient.

The traditional approach for business process modeling is rather static, since all possible process flows must be specified at design-time. This restricts the possibility of the user to react to unexpected situations, so conventional business processes cannot represent the flexible way in which human actors would handle discrepancies between real-world and computerized activities. This paper presents a new approach for dynamic business processes that automatically adapts to changed circumstances based on domain-specific process patterns and an evaluation of related process instances. The presented approach not only finds potential alternatives for failed activities, it also ranks them by exploiting process knowledge implicitly captured by former business process execution. © 2014 IEEE.

This paper proposes an effective fusion of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) approach for the risk evaluation in Mobile Commerce (MC) development. The hybrid method employs the complementary strength of these two appealing techniques, in which, the criteria weight obtained by applying AHP approach, and the GRA approach used to get the overall performance measure of MC risk. At last, experimental results are shown in this paper to verify the effectiveness of the hybrid model. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.

In order to provide a qualitative support to the users during a web search, it is important to have access to a multitude of information sources simultaneously. Depending on the available domain expertise, the user can get an overview and insight to different information perspectives and compare the quality of resources. In this work, we present an exploratory search engine that simultaneously accesses internet resources and a local knowledge base given in the form of ontologies. The ontologies are used to define the search context and can be extended during exploration with new information, thus making the search process adaptive and iterative. We demonstrate our system on an example from the fitness domain, where the user searches for physical training exercises on the Web to complete a personal training plan.

In scenarios where multiple parties such as the Internet of Things and Supply Chains participate in data sharing and computing, when accessing data, users not only need to accept the forward access control of the data owner, but also needs to perform reverse access control on the data, so as to realize two-way access control. In the traditional blockchain, all users can participate in accounting and view transaction data, and only protect user privacy through 'pseudo-Anonymity'. The access rights of different users cannot be distinguished, which cannot meet the user's two-way access control needs. However, most of the existing blockchain-based access control schemes are one-way access control, which cannot meet the needs of users for two-way access control in scenarios such as the Internet of Things and Supply Chains. Therefore, it is particularly important to design a two-way access control mechanism suitable for application in the blockchain. On this basis, this paper proposes a dual strategy attribute-based encryption (ABE) scheme for distributed outsourcing. This scheme combines two existing schemes, ciphertext-policy ABE and key-policy ABE, and proposes two access structures and a structure of attribute sets. The primary access structure and the secondary attributes are stored in the ciphertext, and the secondary access structure and the primary attributes are stored in the user's private key. Only when the primary attribute set satisfies the primary access structure and the secondary attribute set satisfies the secondary access structure can the user unlock the ciphertext. This scheme has no single authorization center;instead, blockchain nodes jointly participate in authorization. In addition, the proposed scheme outsources the encryption and decryption of the ciphertext to blockchain nodes to reduce the computing pressure on users and can adapt to the decentralized environment of the blockchain and provide users with two-way access control services. In agile Cyber-physical Production System (CPPS) engineering, multi-disciplinary teams work concurrently and iteratively on various CPPS engineering artifacts, based on engineering models and Product-Process-Resource (PPR) knowledge, to design and build a production system. However, in such settings it is difficult to keep track of (i) the effects of changes across engineering disciplines, and (ii) their implications on risks to engineering quality, represented in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). To tackle these challenges and systematically co-evolve FMEA and PPR models, requires propagating and validating changes across engineering and FMEA artifacts. To this end, we design and evaluate a Multi-view FMEA+PPR (MvFMEA+PPR) meta-model to represent relationships between FMEA elements and CPPS engineering assets and trace their change states and dependencies in the design and validation lifecycle. We evaluate the MvFMEA+PPR meta-model in a feasibility study on the quality of a screwing process from automotive production. The study results indicate the MvFMEA+PPR meta-model to be more effective than alternative traditional approaches. © 2022 IEEE.

Due to the rapid growth of social net services (SNSs), research into SNSs continuance usage has recently emerged as an important issue in information systems adaption. This study develops an integrated model based on the expectation-confirmation model (ECM), the technology acceptance model (TAM), and the theory of planned behavior (TPB), and apply them into the context of older adults' continuance intention toward SNSs. The hypothesized model is validated empirically using a sample collected from 250 older adults who had prior experience with SNSs and was tested against the proposed research model using structure equation modeling. Analysis results demonstrate that satisfaction has the most significant effect on older adults' continuance intention, followed by perceived usefulness, attitude, subject norm and perceived behavioral control. The results of these findings for SNSs practitioners are discussed at the end of this work. © 2014 IEEE.
