Interference Suppression and Jitter Elimination Ability-Based Adaption Tracking Guidance for Robotic Fishes

This work presents an adaptive tracking guidance method for robotic fishes. The scheme enables robots to suppress external interference and eliminate motion jitter. An adaptive integral surge line-of-sight guidance rule is designed to eliminate dynamics interference and sideslip issues. Limited-time yaw and surge speed observers are reported to fit disturbance variables in the model. The approximation values can compensate for the system's control input and improve the robots' tracking ***, this work develops a terminal sliding mode controller and third-order differential processor to determine the rotational torque and reduce the robots' run jitter. Then, Lyapunov's theory proves the uniform ultimate boundedness of the proposed method. Simulation and physical experiments confirm that the technology improves the tracking error convergence speed and stability of robotic fishes.

Data-driven output regulation control for constrained linear systems

This study introduces a data-driven approach for state and output feedback control addressing the constrained output regulation problem in unknown linear discrete-time systems. Our method ensures effective tracking performance while satisfying the state and input constraints, even when system matrices are not available. We first establish a sufficient condition necessary for the existence of a solution pair to the regulator equation and propose a data-based approach to obtain the feedforward and feedback control gains for state feedback control using linear programming. Furthermore, we design a refined Luenberger observer to accurately estimate the system state, while keeping the estimation error within a predefined set. By combining output regulation theory, we develop an output feedback control strategy. The stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously proved to be asymptotically stable by further leveraging the concept of λ-contractive sets.

Human Cognitive Learning in Shared control via Differential Game With Bounded Rationality and Incomplete Information

Since human beings are of limited reasoning ability as well as the machines do not usually know human intentions, how to learn human cognitive levels in shared control to enhance the machines’ intelligence is a challenging issue. In this study, this issue is addressed in the context of human–machine shared control for a class of human-in-the-loop (HiTL) systems based on a differential game with bounded rationality and incomplete information. Initially, we formulate the human–machine shared control problem as a two-player nonzero-sum linear quadratic dynamic game (LQDG), where the weighting matrix of the cost function representing the human intention is unknown for the machine. To model the human bounded rationality, the level-k (LK) approach is employed to set up the LK control policies of two players performing the corresponding steps of strategic thinking. To infer the human intention, an online adaptive inverse optimal control (IOC) algorithm is then developed by using the system state data, so that the control policies of different cognitive levels can be computed. In addition, a reinforcement learning method is proposed for the machine to identify the distribution of the human cognitive levels while providing a proactive collaborative control to assist the human in a probabilistic switching way. Finally, simulation results on a cooperative shared control driver assistance system (DAS) illustrate the efficacy of the proposed approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Switching power supplies are widely used in aerospace, new energy and many other fields. During long-term operation, various electronic components in these supplies experience performance degradation due to continuous electrical and thermal stress, leading to changes in output characteristics. This is the fundamental reason affecting the reliability of switching power supplies. However, the current combination of physics of failure (PoF) models and simulation technique is imperfect, and most methods cannot achieve batch injection of multiple device failures. This paper proposes a reliability prediction simulation method for switching power supplies based on PoF model injection. By focusing on a switching circuit, the approach involves digital twin modeling and validation, failure mechanism and sensitivity analysis, key failure components degradation modeling, and batch degradation simulation. This method achieves continuous degradation data of multiple components based on the PoF model through batch injection, improving the efficiency and accuracy of reliability prediction for switching power supplies. © 2024 IEEE.

Owing to the greater integration capability, flexible multilayer foil (FMLF) technique has a great potential to promote the evolution of passive integration techniques. To understand the mechanism of this technique is essential for its applications and popularization. To this end, this paper reveals the fundamentals and terminal configuration principles to realize various functional electromagnetic integration units with FMLF technique. A regular FMLF winding is taken as the research object, from theoretical analyses on the associated distributed electromagnetic component (DEMC) circuits, the lumped electromagnetic component (LEMC) circuits with different terminal configuration modes are derived. Moreover, A FMLF winding prototype is built for experimental verifications. The LEMC circuits are demonstrated through the comparative analyses between practically measured and LTspice based simulated impedances or port characteristics. © 2021 IEEE.

Plant diseases are a serious threat toworld agriculture, resulting in lower agricultural yields and financial losses. This study examines how machine learning methods could revolutionize the identification of plant diseases. The shortcomings of conventional approaches and suggest combining machine learning models with cutting-edge imaging and data processing technologies to improve the diagnosis's speed and precision. This research demonstrates how well machine learning methods, such as CNN and SVM, can distinguish between healthy and unhealthy plants. Also gone through how transfer learning can be used, especially when data is scarce, to modify previously trained models for illness detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Sneak circuit analysis is a crucial reliability design process. In the design of spacecraft electronic systems, it is challenging to identify sneak circuits related to integrated chip interface circuits, and there are few targeted researches. In extreme working conditions, the coupling sneak circuits caused by the failure of integrated chips are difficult to identify, affecting the design optimization. The paper proposes a typical interface information specification model for integrated chips to simulate the electrical information characteristics of interfaces. And the typical failure models of intrinsic components inside the chip are determined through multi-physics field analysis. Then, based on the digital model, a sneak circuit diagnosis process based on excitation and fault injection are proposed, and a sneak circuit screening method based on Python virtual prototyping is implemented in the case study. Finally, the design constraint clues for the chip's external circuit are obtained, which provides a reference for related fault diagnosis and reliability optimization works. © 2024 IEEE.
