Due to the enormous growth of mobile technology, Social media has created a crucial platform to express the feelings and opinions of people. Based on these opinion considerations, it is very beneficial for making strategic decisions in organizations, businesses, trading, political entities, and so on. To achieve effective improvement, sentiment analysis is taken into account, and the public opinion polarity for further reference. In this perspective, the main contribution of the study is to explore the benefits and limitations of various learning techniques under the evaluation of sentiment analysis. Generally, Sentiment analysis is evaluated by Natural language processing tasks with various learning techniques, to achieve effective generalization ability and efficiency, data augmentation techniques are integrated, which reduces the overfitting problem effectively. To explore the limitations of the traditional methods, 25 literary papers were taken into account to analyze various approaches, and methods under the utilization of distinct datasets. Together with this, the achieved evaluation metrics along with the achievements are also discussed briefly in the study. Additionally, the study provides the shortcomings and future scope of the conventional methods with a detailed description. The main objective of the survey includes knowledgeable categorization, which aims to explore a new model with the illustration of recent trends and achieve effective data augmentation in future analysis. © 2024 IEEE.

The performance of the pulse width modulation (PWM) inverter is affected by several factors, especially the delay time between switching power devices on the same arm. This is well-known as a delay time (DT) which is a fixed value in the PWM design. The delay time leads to deteriorate performance such as harmonics, output ripples, and so on. In this work, the performance of a single-phase PWM inverter is analysed for various delay durations using an average-based pulse compensation method with feedforward and feedback strategies. The feedforward compensation technique uses a model of the power devices to predict the delay time and to compensate it. The feedback compensation method uses a delay estimator to estimate the delay time and to compensate it. A single-phase PWM inverter with DT compensator model is developed and analysed using MATLAB/Simulink software. The performance parameters analyse include the output voltage waveform, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and efficiency. The results show as the delay increases, the THD of the output voltage grows, whereas the efficiency decreases. © 2023 IEEE.

Lung disease ranked as the third leading global cause of mortality, underscores the critical importance of accurately detecting respiratory disease abnormalities to reduce mortality rates. This study applies the Vision Transformer (Vit) with attention mechanisms to classify respiratory sounds into fve respiratory cases (Normal, Asthma, Pneumonia, COPD, and Lung fbrosis). The approach involves utilizing a dataset of lung audio signals represented as spectrogram images to train the Vit transformer model. Multiple data augmentation techniques enhance model generalization and diversify the dataset. Furthermore, the experimentation phase explores two normalization techniques, RMS and EBU. The results reveal that the highest achieved accuracy is 91.04%, achieved through a combination of data augmentation and EBU normalization, surpassing the state-of-the-art methods such as ResNet101, VGG-16, VGG-19, and others. These findings offer valuable insights into medical diagnostics, suggesting that the Vision Transformer model holds promise for creating more precise and reliable systems for classifying lung sounds. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. As the performance gap between hardware and software widens, performance analysis tools are essential for understanding the behavior of large-scale High-Performance computing (HPC) programs. These tools provide insights into the performance bottlenecks and help in optimizing the performance of the programs. In this paper, we present a comprehensive study of performance analysis tools for large-scale HPC systems including both sampling-based and instrumentation-based tools that are commonly adopted in the HPC community. We investigate the abundance and overheads of data collection as well as the analysis capabilities of HPCToolkit, TAU, and Scalasca with representative programs at scale. Our study shows that different performance analysis tools have distinct strengths and weaknesses, and the choice of a performance analysis tool depends on the specific requirements of the user. We also discuss the challenges and future directions in the field of performance analysis tools for large-scale HPC systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Visual impairment is characterized by the loss of vision, encompassing both complete blindness and partial vision loss. Studies reveal a notable prevalence of visual impairment among school-aged children. The significance of colors in acquiring and discerning visual information is crucial, aiding children in effectively perceiving and comprehending their surroundings. This study presents an Internet of Things (IoT) system designed for teaching colors to visually impaired children. The system achieved an accuracy rate surpassing 77.8%, and it is operated effectively regardless of surrounding lighting conditions. Given that the target users of the system are visually impaired children, this research was conducted in close alignment with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles. © 2024 IEEE.

Worldwide, Geo-distributed Data Centers (GDCs) provide computing and storage services for massive workflow applications, resulting in high electricity costs that vary depending on geographical locations and time. How to reduce electricity costs while satisfying the deadline constraints of workflow applications is important in GDCs, which is determined by the execution time of servers, power, and electricity price. Determining the completion time of workflows with different server frequencies can be challenging, especially in scenarios with heterogeneous computing resources in GDCs. Moreover, the electricity price is also different in geographical locations and may change dynamically. To address these challenges, we develop a geo-distributed system architecture and propose an Electricity Cost aware Multiple Workflows Scheduling algorithm (ECMWS) for servers of GDCs with fixed frequency and power. ECMWS comprises four stages, namely workflow sequencing, deadline partitioning, task sequencing, and resource allocation where two graph embedding models and a policy network are constructed to solve the Markov Decision Process (MDP). After statistically calibrating parameters and algorithm components over a comprehensive set of workflow instances, the proposed algorithms are compared with the state-of-the-art methods over two types of workflow instances. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed algorithm significantly outperforms other algorithms, achieving an improvement of over 15% while maintaining an acceptable computational time. Nowadays, efficient public transport is crucial, particularly in those where pollution and traffic congestion are significant issues. This study introduces a great approach to using the learning algorithm like Q-learning for finding the best route for passengers. Metro networks, which link many towns and areas, are essential to the survival of many cities. We present an approach that treats the whole metro map as a graph with edges connecting nodes. We enable the system to learn the most efficient path for passengers based on the rewards and punishments associated with different behaviors through the use of a Q-learning algorithm, which is also a reinforcement learning algorithm. As we know, this learning is stateless, rule-free, and feedback-based, as opposed to traditional routing techniques;it can learn the best rules for urban routing. The goal is to shorten the overall time taken to travel by using fewer stops. Through simulations and use of real-time data, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our method for determining the best subway routes, helping to deliver better public transportation and availability for commuters in urban environments. © 2024 IEEE.

The system is suitable to certify to the scholars's identification all over the literacy occurrance depending on how it is used and the commerce that is conducted with it. The estimation of the fuzzy membership function parameters for interval type 2 fuzzy logic system(IT2-FLS)is a challenging task in the presence of uncertainty and *** optimization algorithm(GOA)is a fresh population based meta-heuristic algorithm that mimics the swarming behavior of grasshoppers in nature,which has good convergence ability towards *** main objective of this paper is to apply GOA to estimate the optimal parameters of the Gaussian membership function in an *** antecedent part parameters(Gaussian membership function parameters)are encoded as a population of artificial swarm of grasshoppers and optimized using its *** of the consequent part parameters are accomplished using extreme learning *** optimized IT2-FLS(GOAIT2FELM)obtained the optimal premise parameters based on tuned consequent part parameters and is then applied on the Australian national electricity market data for the forecasting of electricity loads and *** forecasting performance of the proposed model is compared with other population-based optimized IT2-FLS including genetic algorithm and artificial bee colony optimization *** of the performance,on the same data-sets,reveals that the proposed GOAIT2FELM could be a better approach for improving the accuracy of the IT2-FLS as compared to other variants of the optimized IT2-FLS.

Electricity fraud is causing huge losses in both the public and private sectors. The proposition of this paper uses a temporarily controlled learning program to include potential theft data from non-specific data on the existence of multiple sample theft. There are two basic applications, one anticipating the use of power and the other to create a broken application and analysis space. Both are rushing for power protection in creating configuration, redesign, and functionality. Because of the significant costs of energy acquisition, as a restricted measure of energy assets, the efficient and effective use of energy assets is an important part of social and financial development in any country.
