E-Learning has emerged as the most effective way of getting information in a range of sectors in the contemporary age. The utilisation of electronic content to provide education and development is referred to as e-learning. While the broadening internet has a plethora of e-learning tools, knowledge acquisition is not just an aspect that adds to an individual's enrichment. Assessment and evaluation are crucial parts of every learning system. Due to more complex assessments and quicker inspection, multiple choice questions are becoming extremely prevalent in current evaluations. However, establishing a diversified pool of MCQs relevant to a certain subject matter presents a hurdle. Manually creating high-quality MCQ exams is a time-consuming and arduous procedure that demands skill. As a result, research has concentrated on the automated construction of well-structured MCQ-based tests. This paper presents a paradigm using natural language processing based on semantic similarity and dynamic ontology. The proposed QG-SKI model uses LOD Cloud and Wiki Data to generate Ontologies dynamically and Knowledge reservoir is performed. The dataset is analysed using TF-IDF algorithm and the Semantic Similarity and Semantic Dissimilarity are computed using Shannon’s entropy, Jaccard Similarity and Normalised Google Distance. These algorithms are executed for a multitude of degrees and levels to generate a similar of similar instances. The suggested model has a 98.15% accuracy and outperforms previous baseline models by dampening resilience. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Fulfilling increasing performance demands of space and automotive applications can be problematic as high dependability is required. Memory is one of the most radiationsensitive parts, so it is often protected with information redundancy. This paper describes an integration of error correction and detection techniques into the interface of RISC-V processor to protect the data stored in the memory. We also provide a hardware-software interface for reporting errors and software routines for correcting data in memory. Our solution has a negligible impact (-3.9%) on the overall performance of the core with a small area and power consumption overhead.

Software project management plays an important role in producing high-quality software, and effort estimation can be considered as a backbone for successful project management. Size is a very significant attribute of software by being the only input to perform early effort estimation. Even though functional size measurement methods showed successful results in effort estimation of traditional data-centric architectures such as monoliths, they were not designed for today's architectures which are more service-based and decentralized such as microservices. In these new systems, the event concept is highly used specifically for communication among different services. By being motivated by this fact, in this study, we looked for more microservice-compatible ways of sizing microservices using events and developed a method accordingly. Then, we conducted an exploratory case study in an organization using agile methods and measured the size of 17 Product Backlog Items (PBIs) to assess how this proposed method can be useful in effort estimation in microservices. The implication from the case study is that despite performing a more accurate effort estimation using the proposed size measurement than COSMIC, we were unable to significantly outperform using the total number of events. However, our suggested approach demonstrated to us a different way to use software size in terms of events, namely, to determine the coupling complexity of the project. This finding can be beneficial specifically when evaluating the change requests. © 2023 IEEE.

Many Internet protocol (IP) lookup algorithms have been formulated to improve network performance. This study reviewed and experimentally evaluated technologies for trie-based methods that reduce memory access, memory consumption and IP lookup time. Experiments involving binary tries (for simplicity) were conducted on four real-world data sets, two of which were on IPv4 router tables (855,997 and 876,489 active prefixes) and two of which were on IPv6 router tables (155,310 and 157,579 active prefixes). Technologies designed to reduce time taken (at the expense of memory consumption) worked well for IPv4, and those designed to reduce memory consumption worked well for IPv6. Various combinations of these technologies were applied together in the experiments. © 2022 Elsevier Inc.

Controlling air pollution is a difficult issue for governments in densely populated and developing nations. The burning of fossil fuels, industrial parameters and traffic assume critical parts in contamination of air. There is distinctive particulate matter which decide the nature of the air however among all the particulate matter, consideration towards particulate matter (PM 2.5) is become a necessity. In this paper we detect the PM value using image processing technology. Image processing uses edge detection and depth estimation techniques to get the contaminated regions of the picture. Accordingly, image processing is used to detect air pollution. It detects and quantifies contamination in the air with the image features like time, day/night, outdoor conditions for determining the correlation. The proposal uses the learning model based on these parameters to predict PM level on collected photos. High-level of PM can cause major issues on individuals' wellbeing. As a result, regulating it by just being vigilant on its overall visibility is critical. This paper proposes a method for identifying and evaluating PM contamination by distinguishing six image features: transmission, sky perfection and shading, complete and neighborhood picture difference, and picture entropy. To assess the association between PM level and numerous elements, we also analyze the time, terrain, and climate state of each image. We created a relapse model based on these data to forecast PM2.5 levels in a specific city. © 2023 IEEE.

The effectiveness of the Novel Random Forest (RF) Algorithm for predicting cryptocurrency prices was evaluated and compared to the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) Algorithm. The theses is in line with works aimed at studying the possibility of using mathematical algorithms for parallel processing of information in reverse blockchain technology. The paper examines the use of parallel signal processing algorithms to improve the speed and quality of control systems for autonomous dynamic objects using reverse blockchain technology. The use of reverse blockchain technology is due to the possibility of loss of control signals and, at the same time, the inadmissibility of loss of control in the event of changes in the conditions and parameters of the operation of the obj ect. Ad hoc, on-demand distance vector routing and dynamic video streaming techniques are used with the aim of increasing the throughput of the video streaming application. Two categories have been distinguished. Dynamic video streaming is the purview of Group 1, and vector routing is the domain of Group 2. The dynamic video streaming method was run with a sample size of 155, an enrolment ratio of 1.1, alpha and beta values of 0.05 and 0.5, and a 95% confidence level. It was also run with a variable number of trials. For this research, the G-power Pretest value is 85%. When it comes to wormhole prediction, the dynamic video streaming mechanism yields 1.57 throughput, while the distance vector navigation on-demand and ad hoc mechanism yields 1.76. In today's world, where digital threats are on the rise, one particularly concerning threat is the Mirai botnet. This malware is designed to infect and command a collection of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. The use of Mirai attacks has intensified in recent times, thus threatening the smooth operation of numerous devices that are connected to a network. Such attacks carry adverse consequences that include interference with services or the leakage of confidential information. To fight this growing threat, smart and flexible detection techniques are required to counter the new methods cyber attackers use. The aim of this research is to develop a resilient defense against Mirai botnet attacks. The Long Short Term Memory term (LSTM) and XGBoost combined have the best performance of 97.7% accuracy score. With this combination, the aim is to strengthen our cyber defenses against sophisticated and dynamically operating Mirai botnets to further enhance the security of our digital world. © 2024

This tertiary systematic literature review examines 29 systematic literature reviews and surveys in Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) to uncover trends, limitations, and future directions. The study explores current explanation techniques, providing insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers interested in enhancing AI transparency. Notably, the increasing number of systematic literature reviews (SLRs) in XAI publications indicates a growing interest in the field. The review offers an annotated catalogue for human-computer interaction-focused XAI stakeholders, emphasising practitioner guidelines. Automated searches across ACM, IEEE, and Science Direct databases identified SLRs published between 2019 and May 2023, covering diverse application domains and topics. While adhering to methodological guidelines, the SLRs often lack primary study quality assessments. The review highlights ongoing challenges and future opportunities related to XAI evaluation standardisation, its impact on users, and interdisciplinary research on ethics and GDPR aspects. The 29 SLRs, analysing over two thousand papers, include five directly relevant to practitioners. Additionally, references from the SLRs were analysed to compile a list of frequently cited papers, serving as recommended foundational readings for newcomers to the field.
