The matrix barcodes known as Quick Response (QR) codes, which are enable us to import printed digital information into smart-phone or cell phone through its digital camera easily, are rapidly becoming widespread not only Japan but also Asia, Europe and America. However, an attacker is easily able to lead malicious web-sites by putting a unauthenticated QR code on a authenticated QR code. We propose a compatible 2d-code having tamper detection system with QR-code. In digital signature system, a hash value of a message is calculated firstly, and then the hash value is encrypted by a secret key which is a pair of public key cryptography system. Then, a sender sends the message and the encrypted hash value to a receiver. In the receiver side, the hash value of a sent message is calculated and the hash value with encrypted is decrypted using a public key which is a pair of public key cryptography system. The receiver can detect modification of the message by comparing the two hash values. The encrypted hash value is embedded by using Wet Paper code within cells of QR-codes. In this paper, we report the robustness of reading cells of QR code which plays an important role in our code and the state of the progress for the implementation of the proposed system.

A didactic approach into teaching model-driven software development (MDSD) is proposed in this paper. The main idea is to focus on conveying underlying concepts, rather than managing a concrete tool or presenting a purely theoretical approach, when teaching MDSD. This objective shall be reached by the development of a simple code generator by the students. For this reason the whole process from graphical modeling to the actual code generation is traversed twice. The first time from back to front to introduce the main concepts of a code generator engine and in a second pass from the beginning to extend the generator by additional functionality. The course will then be completed by transferring the knowledge learnt to a concrete generator tool within the framework of a simple exercise and by a presentation. © 2014, Australian computer Society, Inc.

Recent work has proposed an enhancement of Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) in a tunable, hybrid formal context including both numerical and nominal data [1]. This work introduces FCknn, that is a granular knn classifier based on hybrid concepts, whose effectiveness is demonstrated on benchmark datasets from the literature including both numerical and nominal data. Preliminary experimental results compare well with the results by alternative classifiers from the literature. Formal concepts are interpreted as descriptive decision-making knowledge (rules) induced from the data.

Measurements of ZZ production in the ℓ+ℓ−ℓ′+ℓ′− channel in proton–proton collisions at 13 TeV center-of-mass energy at the Large Hadron Collider are presented. The data correspond to 36.1 fb−1 of collisions collected by the ATLAS experiment in 2015 and 2016. Here ℓ and ℓ′ stand for electrons or muons. Integrated and differential ZZ→ℓ+ℓ−ℓ′+ℓ′− cross sections with Z→ℓ+ℓ− candidate masses in the range of 66 GeV to 116 GeV are measured in a fiducial phase space corresponding to the detector acceptance and corrected for detector effects. The differential cross sections are presented in bins of twenty observables, including several that describe the jet activity. The integrated cross section is also extrapolated to a total phase space and to all standard model decays of Z bosons with mass between 66 GeV and 116 GeV, resulting in a value of 17.3±0.9[±0.6(stat)±0.5(syst)±0.6(lumi)] pb. The measurements are found to be in good agreement with the standard model. A search for neutral triple gauge couplings is performed using the transverse momentum distribution of the leading Z boson candidate. No evidence for such couplings is found and exclusion limits are set on their parameters.

This paper presents the concept and implementation of an automated authoring system, to integrate two different modules e-Meeting and e-Learning of the WebELS platform. The primary function of the proposed system is to synchronize the lecturer video stream with the presentation slides in a real-time processing. The system automatically detects the events of slide changing and cursor positions and links them to the exact position of the video. Thus the video is synchronized with the sequence of slides and cursor data, which the students follow on the real-time presentation. This approach is very valuable for students who did not grasp some specific topics, to repeat the important parts of the presentation. Moreover, students who were not able to attend the live presentation, can access to the learning contents created at the server side for later reviewing. The evaluation of criteria for the proposed system demonstrates its usefulness and effectiveness in developing rich eLearning contents to support higher education.

Collaborative multi-agent reinforcement learning based on experience propagation

For multi-agent reinforcement learning in Markov games, knowledge extraction and sharing are key research problems. State list extracting means to calculate the optimal shared state path from state trajectories with cycles. A state list extracting algorithm checks cyclic state lists of a current state in the state trajectory, condensing the optimal action set of the current state. By reinforcing the optimal action selected, the action policy of cyclic states is optimized gradually. The state list extracting is repeatedly learned and used as the experience knowledge which is shared by teams. Agents speed up the rate of convergence by experience sharing. Competition games of preys and predators are used for the experiments. The results of experiments prove that the proposed algorithms overcome the lack of experience in the initial stage, speed up learning and improve the performance.

This article is dedicated to the online archive of multimedia objects for educational purposes. Ultimately, it is a study tool to help students better understand and deepen the information, which assume lectures or to practice the exercises. The reason to make this archive was find educational materials for the teaching of computer network KPI FEI TUKE. The first task was to understand how to develop in Drupal CMS environment for this archive. It should be vytvotiť own user interface for using custom themes written in PHP, HTML, JS and CSS. This archive was created in partnership with a number of students who cooperated in the selection of materials and the creation of the portal. This archive has general use and is easily attachable to Ostané area výčby different subjects at various universities. © 2014 IEEE.

The main goal in the design of ThreeBallot system was to provide an end-to-end auditable voting system in a simple way without use of cryptography to bolster voter confidence in the system. However, later it was shown that this system has significant security and usability problems. To solve these problems, in this work we propose Trusted3Ballot;an electronic ThreeBallot based voting system which uses trusted computing technology. One notable feature of the proposed system is the use of TPM remote attestation property to address a number of trust and security problems. The analysis of our proposal reveals that significant improvements to the ThreeBallot system are provided in terms of both security and usability.

It is common knowledge that program comprehension takes up a substantial part of software development. This "urban legend" is based on work that dates back decades, which throws up the question whether the advances in software development tools, techniques, and methodologies that have emerged since then may invalidate or confirm the claim. We present an empirical investigation which goal is to confirm or reject the claim, based on interaction data which captures the user interface activities of developers. We use interaction data to empirically quantify the distribution of different developer activities during software development: In particular, we focus on estimating the role of program comprehension. In addition, we investigate if and how different developers and session types influence the duration of such activities. We analyze interaction data from two different contexts: One comes from the ECLIPSE IDE on Java source code development, while the other comes from the PHARO IDE on Smalltalk source code development. We found evidence that code navigation and editing occupies only a small fraction of the time of developers, while the vast majority of the time is spent on reading & understanding source code. In essence, the importance of program comprehension was significantly underestimated by previous research.
