Nowadays hardware components are very expensive, especially if the prime purpose is to perform some routing related lab exercises. Physically connected network resources are required to get the desired results. Configuration of network resources in a lab exercise consumes much time of the students and scientists. The router simulation package Crab, based on Knoppix, Quagga and user mode Linux (UML) is designed for the students to facilitate them in performing lab exercises on a standalone computer where no real network equipment is needed. In addition to that it provides the facility of connection with the real network equipments. In the paper, The Global satellite position system (GPS), the geography informationsystem (GIS) , the expert system (ES) and ontology technology are introduced. Based on technology, we design and implement an intelligent management system for the maize In JilinLin province of China .In this system, rule-based expert system is used to deal with knowledge about maize and GIS is used to deal with spatial information, while Ontology technology is used to deal with the spatial relationships. The practice shows that the use of the intelligent system can notably improve the maize planting.

Ubiquitous sensor networks are application oriented system, which are composed of a large number of cooperative sensor nodes. The identification of individual sensor node is important especially for some security-sensitive applications. In this paper, we focus on the establishment of trust relationship among wireless sensor nodes, and try to combine the message authentication and identity authentication as a countermeasure to hostile attack. Accompanied with a simple lightweight key pre-distribution algorithm, in which each node sends only one message, we propose a lightweight trust relationship establishing scheme for ubiquitous sensor networks. The new scheme, which works without a trusted authority in the network, is not only concise in format but effective in practice to ensure network trusted and secure.

Recently numerous studies have attempted to develop efficient algorithms for compressing/decompressing geometric data. Almost all of these algorithms are either multiple pass traversals or operate in reverse order. Multiple pass traversals take a long time to execute. Operating in reverse order should work only off-line since its decompression order follows the reverse order of the compression. These factors restrict numerous applications. To conquer these restrictions, this study proposes an edge-based single-resolution compression scheme for handling triangular mesh connectivity. The proposed algorithm encodes and decodes 3D models straightforwardly via single pass traversal in a sequential order. Most algorithms use the split operation to separate the 3D model into two components;however the displacement is recorded or an extra operator is needed for identifying the branch. This study proposes using the J operator to skip to the next edge of the active boundary;the method need not split overhead. Meanwhile, this study proposes the cut operation to compress/decompress the triangular mesh with holes and handles. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves better compression ratio and faster execution time than the conventional algorithm. The proposed algorithm is combined with a graphics engine, and the hardware structures and vertices replacement strategies are also presented.

New type of remote support system for handicapped persons is proposed in this paper. Body-Braille system is consisted of six small vibrators which have been used in cellular phones. And this system is put on the any part of human body. Supports method are similar to usual Braille, and the impaired persons acquire the communication or information about circumferences by reading the vibration patterns on the skin which are consisted of six on-off vibrations of small motors. This paper has shown the remote support system and experiment in which Body-Braille system and cellular phone are connected to realize its functions. The deaf-blind persons have cellular phone with small camera, and remote supporter can get the necessary information by receiving images from the phone, and then send recognition result to subject using Body-Braille. From the results of the experiment, proposed support system has been clarified to be effective.

Wireless sensor network (WSN), which is integrated with many technologies such as sensor, embedded computing, wireless communication and distributed information processing etc., is becoming an important branch of ubiquitous computing research. WSN is composed of a large number of distributed sensor nodes, so to ensure the sensor nodes dependable is essential to security of whole network. By introducing a lightweight tamper-resistance design based on security co-processor into sensor nodes, this paper loosens up the security assumptions of WSN, and redefines the objectives of WSN security.
