This paper presents the novel design and synthesis of 44 bit reversible logic based array multiplier. The proposed reversible circuit has the ability to multiply two 4-bits binary numbers which can be generalized for NXN bit. It is also shown that the proposed design technique generates the reversible binary array multiplier with minimum number of gates as well as the minimum number of garbage outputs.

According to recent research, Generalized Quadrature BandPass Sampling (GQBPS) with FIR filtering is promising to deal with the noise aliasing problem in subsampling systems. However, the interesting band of folded spectra by GQBPS with real FIR filtering is still located at the input carrier frequency. In this paper, inherent FIR filtering in GQBPS with real coefficients is transformed such that the interesting band is shifted to a lower frequency. The main advantage of such transformation is to achieve a frequency downconversion besides sampling and dealing with noise aliasing in GQBPS. As a special case of GQBPS, Uniform Quadrature BandPass Sampling (UQBPS) is also discussed including the filter transformation. Both theoretical analyses and simulations are included. It is verified that the expected noise aliasing improvement of GQBPS or UQBPS does not change with the filter transformation. The whole subsampling system with GQBPS or UQBPS might be simplified by using complex filtering.

In recent years, Internet-scale worm incidents occurred many times. People wonder at the speediness of the worm spread and the severe damage to the Internet. So people began to find methods to detect worms as quickly as possible. The paper first describes a worm behavior and propagation model. And then based on it, a new approach for early detection of Internet worms is proposed. This approach determines whether a worm incident has occurred by the change of the computers' connection degree. Many researches have been done on car license plate (CLP) recognition. However, these are no sufficient number of works on Thai CLP. The existing works on Thai CLP have been focused on localization, extraction, and partial recognition (only for upper line) of the license plate. Generally, Thai CLP has 2 lines (upper and lower). The upper line presents character category in 2-position formatted, following by running number (up to 4 digits). The lower line presents province name. Recognition of the lower line is a difficult task because Thai words can be composed of 4 levels (top level, above level, base line and below level). Hence, appearance of noises in the original image easily causes misrecognition. This paper presents an approach to recognize off-line entire Thai CLP using Hausdorff distance technique (HD) for similarity measurement. The recognition rate obtained by the proposed method is 92%
