Dynamic searchable symmetric encryption (DSSE) enables users to delegate the keyword search over dynamically updated encrypted databases to an honest-but-curious server without losing keyword privacy. This paper studies a new and practical security risk to DSSE, namely, secret key compromise (e.g., a user’s secret key is leaked or stolen), which threatens all the security guarantees offered by existing DSSE schemes. To address this open problem, we introduce the notion of searchable encryption with key-update (SEKU) that provides users with the option of non-interactive key updates. We further define the notion of post-compromise secure with respect to leakage functions to study whether DSSE schemes can still provide data security after the client’s secret key is compromised. We demonstrate that post-compromise security is achievable with a proposed protocol called "Bamboo". Interestingly, the leakage functions of Bamboo satisfy the requirements for both forward and backward security. We conduct a performance evaluation of Bamboo using a real-world dataset and compare its runtime efficiency with the existing forward-and-backward secure DSSE schemes. Digital Marketing is a product marketing strategy using digital media and internet networks. Nowadays, digital marketing is a necessity for companies that thrive in the digital world. It greatly affects the growth of MSME (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) especially when it comes to increasing their sales performance by enhancing their brand awareness through various media or instruments such as a Facebook ad, Instagram advertising, Search Engine Optimization, and Search Engine Marketing. This research is aimed to measure how much impact of digital marketing utilization into Micro, Small, Medium enterprises. On the other hand, it also provides an understanding on what are the best digital marketing method to be utilized in the current situation. The method we used in this paper is quantitative. Data were collected through various questions constructed in an electronic questionnaire. This research provides a reference of digital marketing strategies for Micro, Small and Medium business owners. The result shows that digital marketing has a huge impact on the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise from increasing sales, increasing brand awareness, and gaining customers based on the data collected from both customer and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise players in Indonesia. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)provide intelligent navigation and efficient route management,resulting in time savings and cost reductions in the transportation ***,the exchange of beacons and messages over public channels among vehicles and roadside units renders these networks vulnerable to numerous attacks and privacy *** address these challenges,several privacy and security preservation protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography have been proposed ***,most of these schemes are limited by a long execution time and massive communication costs,which make them inefficient for on-board units(OBUs).Additionally,some of them are still susceptible to many *** such,this study presents a novel protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and bilinear pairing(BP)*** formal security analysis is accomplished using the Burrows–Abadi–Needham(BAN)logic,demonstrating that our scheme is verifiably *** proposed scheme’s informal security assessment also shows that it provides salient security features,such as non-repudiation,anonymity,and ***,the scheme is shown to be resilient against attacks,such as packet replays,forgeries,message falsifications,and *** the performance perspective,this protocol yields a 37.88%reduction in communication overheads and a 44.44%improvement in the supported security ***,the proposed scheme can be deployed in VANETs to provide robust security at low overheads.

Digital signal processing is critical during the use of sensor-clouds, and the data information acquired by sensors is inevitably noisy. The Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) algorithm can be used to reduce noise on the signal. The selection of the modal decomposition number of the VMD algorithm and the selection of the modal components of the reconstructed signal affect the effect of signal noise reduction. In this paper, an adaptive variational mode decomposition scheme is proposed. It adaptively selects the modal decomposition number through the established modal decomposition number and the input signal sample entropy model, selects the optimal modal component according to the sample entropy threshold, and reconstructs the signal after the selected modal component is processed by data smoothing. The results show that compared with traditional variational mode decomposition, empirical mode decomposition algorithms, and other algorithms, the effect of adaptive variational mode decomposition in filtering out signal noise is analyzed. The proposed adaptive VMD (A-VMD) algorithm can effectively filter out the noise of the signal obtained by the sensor. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Nowadays, the handwritten alphabet recognition system plays an important role in any language (English, Hindi, Tamil, Chinese, Myanmar, etc.). There is limited research on the Myanmar handwritten alphabet recognition system, especially on Shan State alphabet recognition. One prevalent problem in this area of research is that there is neither a standard dataset for the Shan alphabet nor any research on the Shan handwritten alphabet recognition system. To overcome this problem, this study aims to create an image dataset for Shan alphabet handwritten recognition. The dataset developed consists of 19 alphabet classes that are widely used to write Shan text in Shan state of Myanmar due to the distinctive orthographic representation of the Shan alphabets. This dataset was collected by 1000 Shan native participants of different age groups in Shan state. Thus, a total of 19,000 images were created for each class in this dataset. This dataset will be useful for Shant state alphabet recognition system in Myanmar and assist in natural language processing (NLP) based applications in Myanmar.

To directly investigate the dynamic nanoscale phenomenon on the surface being processed in wet conditions such as precision polishing, and cleaning in semiconductor industrial, an optical method for visualization and observation of each sub-100 nm sized particle that is moving on an interface such as a silica glass surface by applying an evanescent field have been proposing. Subsequently, we developed an experimental apparatus equipped with an optical microscopy system for verifying the moving particle observation method in a laboratory scale. This article introduces some experimentally direct observation results of duplicated wet processes. © 2024 IEEE.

Social media has now become a place for others to exchange information in the form of writing, photos, videos, and audio. Social media has become a place for humans to interact from all over the world. In the use of social media, attractive professional information is conceptualized as access to relevant information and opening up better career opportunities. User content about work and choosing personal information compilation strategies consistently predict information usefulness. This study discusses the effect of using a linked-in application on the success of its users in the professional world. It is hoped that it can provide insight into the use of this recruitment application, making it easier for users to find work. The research model used in this research is quantitative. The survey was conducted on connected users in Indonesia using an online questionnaire, and the data collected was analyzed using PLS-SEM. Of the 68 respondents who took the survey, it can be said that all research models have a positive relationship with the successful use of the linked-in platform. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper investigates the use of YOLOvll, an advanced deep learning model, for waste classification in Aus-tralian recycling facilities, aiming to improve sorting accuracy and reduce contamination in line with Australia's National Waste Policy. Utilizing the RealWaste dataset, which contains over 10,000 annotated images of waste materials collected at the Whyte's Gully Waste and Resource Recovery facility in Wollongong, NSW, this study demonstrates YOLOvll's superior performance across various metrics. The YOLOvll variants achieved top-l classification accuracies ranging from 82.39% to 85.95% and top-5 accuracies from 99.37% to 99.79 % . The highest-performing model, YOLOvllm-cls, achieved a top-l accuracy of 85.95% and an inference time of 0.5545 ms, balancing classification precision with computational efficiency. These results significantly improve upon prior models used in similar tasks, showcasing YOLOvll ‘s potential to automate waste classification, reduce human error, and enhance recycling operations.

The unipolar photocurrent in conventional photodiodes(PDs)based on photovoltaic effect limits the output modes and potential versatility of these devices in *** photodiodes with photocurrent switching are emerging as a promising solution for obtaining photoelectric devices with unique and attractive functions,such as optical logic ***,we design an all-solid-state chip-scale ultraviolet(UV)PD based on a hybrid GaN heterojunction with engineered bipolar polarized electric *** introducing the polarization-induced photocurrent switching effect,the photocurrent direction can be switched in response to the wavelength of incident light at 0 V *** particular,the photocurrent direction exhibits negative when the irradiation wavelength is less than 315 nm,but positive when the wavelength is longer than 315 *** device shows a responsivity of up to−6.7 mA/W at 300 nm and 5.3 mA/W at 340 nm,*** particular,three special logic gates in response to different dual UV light inputs are demonstrated via a single bipolar PD,which may be beneficial for future multifunctional UV photonic integrated devices and systems.
