A passive image steganalysis method is proposed to universally detect spatial-domain steganography schemes. It is shown to have better performance than universal steganalyzers known to be powerful in spatial domain, including the WFLogSv and the WAM methods. This level of accuracy is the result of improving the WFLogSv steganalyzer by considering a more comprehensive relationship between the singular values of each image block and the linear correlation of the rows and the columns. That is, instead of the closeness of the lower singular values to zero, the energy distribution of the singular values is investigated. An innovative measure is proposed for this investigation, which is inspired from arithmetic mean-geometric mean inequality. Experimental results confirm the supremacy of the proposed steganalysis scheme over its counterparts.

Analytical algorithm of program quaternion in the arbitrary spacecraft attitude-adjusting control

The analytical algorithm of program quaternion is studied, aiming at the problem of the arbitrary space vehicle attitude-adjusting control. The analytical constructor method of the program quaternion is provided for arbitrary given initial quaternion, initial angle velocity, terminal quaternion and terminal angle velocity. The presented method has advantages as: good adaptability, the initial and terminal conditions are both arbitrary;reduced operation, the calculation process involves the fundamental algebraic operation;direct optimization, the time consumption in the process of space vehicle attitude adjustment and the maximum angular velocity can be optimized directly by using the program quaternion model. Finally, according to the simulation results, the program quaternion tracking can be realized by a PD control law. © 2012 Binary Information Press.

A passive universal image steganalysis method is proposed that is shown to be of higher detection accuracy than existing truly blind steganalysis methods including Farid's and the WAM. This is achieved by improving some weaknesses of Farid's steganalysis scheme in feature extraction, that is, instead of deriving an over-determined equation system for each sub band of the wavelet decomposition, the sub bands are divided into overlapping blocks and an over-determined equation system is constructed for each block. To guarantee the existence of finite answers, the over-determined equation systems are solved in a way different from Farid's by using Moore-Penrose pseudo-inverse concept. Further improvement to the performance is achieved by adding diagonal directions and increasing the number of moments. The comparative evaluations confirm the superiority of the proposed method over prevalent blind steganalysis schemes. © 2011 IEEE.

On collusion attack for digital fingerprinting

Collusion attack is a challenge issue for digital fingerprinting, and it is very beneficial to study for fingerprinting design. Two models for linear and non-linear collu- sion attack are constructed from the angles of owner and colluder in the paper. Through theory and simulation analysis in fingerprints embedding domain and non-embedding do- main some conclusions are obtained: (1) The attack effects in embedding domain and non-embedding domain are same for average collusion attack;(2) The attack effects in embedding domain is stronger than that in non-embedding domain for maximum attack, minimum attack and randneg attack;(3) The attack effects in embedding domain and non-embedding domain are similar for median attack, min-max attack and modneg attack;(4) The two models have the similar attacks effects in embedding domain. We have also studied the relationship between the quality of colluded image and collusion attack. Large experimental results prove the correctness of the received conclusions, which is very helpful for fingerprinting design and system analysis. © 2011 ISSN 2073-4212.

In this paper, we provided an algorithm to reconstruct images with Least Squares Support Vector Machines(LS-SVM) and Simulated Annealing Particle Swarm Optimization(APSO), named SAP. This algorithm introduces simulated annealing ideas into PSO, adopts cooling process functions to replace the inertia weight function and construct the time variant inertia weight function featured in annealing mechanism;takes use of the APSO algorithm to search for the optimized resolution of Electrical Capacitance Tomography(ECT) reconstruction image. In order to overcome the soft field characteristics of ECT sensitivity field, we exercised some image samples of typical flow pattern with LSSVM so as to predict the capacitance error caused by the soft field characteristics and then construct the fitness function of the particle swarm optimization on basis of the capacitance error. The simulation results show that SAP algorithm is featured in quick convergence rate and higher imaging precision. Compared with Landweber algorithm, the quality of reconstruction image with SAP is significantly improved.

Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common lung cancer with poor prognosis. Prognostic prediction is significant in improving the prognosis of NSCLC patients. Clinical information and multi-omics data including gene expression, miRNA, copy number variations, and DNA methylation are closely related to NSCLC prognosis. In this study, we propose a deep neural network to conduct prognostic prediction for NSCLC patients based on all five types of data. Given the high dimensional features of the omics data, past works reduce the feature dimension by regression analysis or correlation sorting algorithms. A shortcoming of these methods is that only a small number of features are considered. To overcome it, we propose a convolution neural network-based feature transformation method, which considers all features and extracts the abstract representations of the omics data. Based on the representations, we predict the five-year survival status of NSCLC patients. The results show that our method achieves a more precise prediction than previous work, with the areas under the curve improved from 0.8163 to 0.8508 and the accuracy improved from 0.7544 to 0.8096. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Repetitive, or multipass, processes are a class of 2D systems of both practical and algorithmic/theoretical interest whose dynamics cannot be analysed or controlled using standard (1D) systems theory. Recently it has been shown that the modelling of the boundary conditions, also known as the process initial conditions, is a crucial feature in the analysis and control of these processes. This paper presents some further results on the effects of so-called 'dynamic' process initial conditions on the controllability and stability properties of discrete linear repetitive processes. Previous work has shown that these dynamic process initial conditions alone can destroy the stability properties of these processes. Hence their effects must be 'adequately' accounted for the process modelling stage in order to ensure that subsequent analysis does not lead to incorrect results/conclusions. The main results developed in this paper can be summarised as follows. (i) Computationally efficient stability tests which can, in effect, be applied using standard, or 1D, linear systems tests. (ii) Characterisation of so-called pass controllability in the form of matrix rank based conditions. (iii) Conditions under which the dynamic process initial conditions can be selected to ensure stability and pass controllability. © 1999 IEEE.

The relative-posture-fixed human following is critical for the human-robot interaction and cooperation in daily scenes such as domestic service and healthcare. However, few of previous researches have discussed the difficulties faced by mobile robots in the real world, including the limitation of sensing range and hindrance from obstacles. For practicality, in this paper we investigate the relative-posture-fixed following control with collision avoidance and visibility constraints. The control task is formulated as a receding-horizon optimization problem and solved under the Nonlinear Model Predictive control (NMPC) framework, while an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) based human trajectory predict algorithm is integrated into the robot controller. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified in a simulation, and the results demonstrate a promising performance of our controller for the human-following task in complicated environments. © 2023 IEEE.

Based on the cased hole formation resistivity logging technology, we build the mathematical model of casing well, derive the formation resistivity calculation Equation, obtain the error transfer Equation of formation resistivity. Also, we design the Logging tool electrode parameters, determine the electrode coefficient calculation method, and analyze the influence factors of formation resistivity measurement. Using multi-physical field coupling simulation software COMSOL, a physical model of logging system is established;on the condition of given parameters, through numerical computation and analysis, medium response curves of homogeneous resistance, high resistance, and low resistance are obtained, and response characteristics are analyzed. The results contained in this paper provide important engineering references for logging interpretation and logging tools. © 2014 Cafet-innova technical society.

A novel image registration algorithm based on octalog-polar Fourier transform (OLPFT) for estimating large translations, rotations, and scalings in images is presented. The OLPFT, which is calculated at points distributed at non-linear increased concentric octagons, approximated log-polar Fourier representations of images accurately. And it can be calculated fast by utilizing the Fourier separability property and fractional FFT. Using the log-polar Fourier representations and cross-power spectrum method, we can estimate the rotations and scalings in images, and obtain translations later.
