As the Harris detector can produce false and unstable corners, and obtained matching points have different accuracies in aerial video registration, an aerial video registration algorithm using optimal gradient filters and projective invariant was proposed. Firstly, a Harris detector based on optimal gradient filters was presented to determine the location of corners, and the locally most stable points were selected to be matching points. Then, the Delaunay triangulation was used to perform the initial matching. Finally, the most "useful" matching points that best satisfied the cross-ratio invariant were presented to estimate the geometry transformation and finish the image registration. Experiment results show that the proposed method by the optimal gradient filters and cross-ratio invariant can realize the registration between the frames, and the average geometric fidelity error is 0.869 for 8 sets of the unmanned video sequences with a resolution of 320 pixel×240 pixel. The method can capture moving objects effectively.

The proximity capacitance sensor is presented to be a detector for liquid detection on membrane surface. Background of sensing technique was introduced in this paper. Three types of capacitance sensor in different shapes are designed and tested. According to the analysis, the parameters affecting the sensor performance and sensitivities are concluded. COMSOL software is used to simulate the electric distribution and penetration depth of the capacitance sensors. Associated with MATLAB programs, the performance of the designed sensor was simulated and compared. The experimental results proven the feasibility of the designed capacitance sensors used for liquid detection.

This paper presents a new robust image watermarking scheme for resisting both traditional and geometric attacks. A watermark synchronization scheme is first presented using image features. Harris interest points are first extracted from the scale normalized image and the locally most stable points are employed to generate some non-overlapped circular regions. Watermark synchronization is achieved using these local circular regions. Thereafter, the rotation invariant pseudo-Zernike moments (PZMs) are computed over each circular region and the watermark signal is composed of the PZM vectors extracted from all the local regions. Then the PZM vectors are modified and reconstructed, producing some error images. The watermark is embedded by adding the error images into the corresponding local circular regions in spatial domain directly. During watermark detection, local circular regions are first extracted from the distorted image and PZMs are computed over each local region. A minimum distance decoder is proposed to detect the watermark blindly. Simulation results on Stirmark 4.0 show that the watermark is robust against traditional signal processing attacks, rotation, scaling, flipping, Stirmark random bending as well as combined attacks.

With the development of science and technology, the speed of taking and transmitting images has greatly improved, so that the target recognition technology based on remote sensing image becomes a reality. According to the deficiencies of the previous recognition methods, a method of automatic threshold is proposed for getting more accurate features about the positioned object, then the feature extraction by SVM classifier for classification and recognition. Experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the current recognition system. The system provides a good performance in aircraft recognition and classification, at the same time it also offers better robustness.
