There are many multi-objective planning problems in emergency decision-making domain. HTN planners were widely used in emergency decision-making, while they have limited ability to solve optimization, especially multi-objective optimization. Aimed to handling multi-objective in HTN planners, this paper proposes a novel method based on SHOP2, which is a domain-independent state-based forward HTN planner. The method uses a weighted vector to mirror the decision maker's performance for various objectives and an anytime search algorithm to improve the ability to find the best solution plan. Finally, a case of emergency evacuation is given to testify the effectiveness of the method. © 2013 IEEE.

A novel multifocus image fusion algorithm based on contourlet transform and region statistics was proposed. For good properties of multiscale, localization, directionality and anisotropy, the multifocus source images are first decomposed using contourlet transform. Fusion operations based on region statistics are implemented for all subbands in each scale and direction. Regional variance and local energy are utilized as the fusion rule in low frequency and high frequency subbands, respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed method can extract image features more effectively and obtain better fusion performance. Compared with traditional gradient pyramid algorithm and wavelet based fusion algorithm, the mean square error of the proposed algorithm is increased by 34.8%and 42.6%.

The contourlet Transform is an efficient directional multiresolution image representation, but it is not shift-invariant. The nonsubsampled contourlet transform (NSCT), is a fully shift-invariant, multiscale, and multidirection expansion that has a fast implementation, but the computational efficiency is lower than the contourlet transform, such an efficient representation has to be obtained by structured transform and fast algorithm. In this paper, we adopt an optimized directional filter bank and embed it into NSCT to pursue the desired speed, sacrificed the PSNR of the reconstructed image, we obtain the obvious increase of processing speed. Experimental results show that the quality of reconstructed image is sufficient for the human visual system (HVS), and the modified NSCT has a speed about several times than the speed of the customary one, this is very valuable for practical applications of the NSCT.

Traditional recurrent neural networks are composed of capacitors, inductors, resistors, and operational *** neural networks are constructed by replacing resistors with memristors. This paper focuses on the memory analysis,i.e. the initial value computation, of memristors. Firstly, we present the memory analysis for a single memristor based on memristors’ mathematical models with linear and nonlinear ***, we present the memory analysis for two memristors in series and parallel. Thirdly, we point out the difference between traditional neural networks and those that are memristive. Based on the current and voltage relationship of memristors, we use mathematical analysis and SPICE simulations to demonstrate the validity of our methods.

An example based super-resolution algorithm for digital video using contourlet transform is proposed in this paper. The input is a low resolution video sequence together with a high resolution still image of similar content. Firstly, the low resolution frames are interpolated to the same spatial resolution as the reference still image. For the good properties of directional, multiscale and anisotropy, the nonsub-sampled contourlet is utilized to create the training set of transform coefficient patches from the high resolution still image. Block based motion estimation is then applied inside the complete training set to find the best matching between interpolated frame and reference still image. According to the correspondence between low frequency and high frequency pairs, the missing high frequency information of the input frame can be easily learned from the training set. Finally, an inverse contourlet transform is applied to the interpolated frame and supplement high frequency subbands to recover the super-resolved image. Preliminary experimental results on video frames show that the proposed super- resolution algorithm outperforms conventional spatial interpolation methods and wavelet based interpolation algorithm both in visual quality and the PSNR value.

In this paper, we provided an algorithm to reconstruct images with Least Squares Support Vector Machines (LS-SVM) and Simulated Annealing Particle Swarm Optimization (APSO), named SAP. This algorithm introduces simulated annealing ideas into PSO, adopts cooling process functions to replace the inertia weight function and construct the time variant inertia weight function featured in annealing mechanism;takes use of the APSO algorithm to search for the optimized resolution of Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) reconstruction image. In order to overcome the soft field characteristics of ECT sensitivity field, we exercised some image samples of typical flow pattern with LSSVM so as to predict the capacitance error caused by the soft field characteristics and then construct the fitness function of the particle swarm optimization on basis of the capacitance error. The simulation results show that SAP algorithm is featured in quick convergence rate and higher imaging precision. Compared with Landweber algorithm, the quality of reconstruction image with SAP is significantly improved. © 2013 ACM.

Re-entry aircraft depends on aerodynamic force during flight. Because of windward rudder and lee rudder, there certainly exists aerodynamic coupling among pitch channel, yaw channel and roll channel under the situation of large attack angle and slip angle, and behaves couplings of inputs and states. This paper proposed decouple control of inputs aiming at the coupling problem of inputs, and the MIMO problem is transformed to a SISO one. For the SISO problem, the coupling of states can be solved by control system design to guarantee system stable and robust. © 2012 Huazhong Univ of Sci & Tec.

Epidemic spreading with variant infection rates on scale-free network

In this paper, we proposed a susceptible-infected model with variant infection rates because different individuals have different resistance to diseases in different periods of real epidemic events. We consider two cases: Case 1, we know every individual's infection rate to a kind of epidemic, satisfy a type of distribution. Case 2, assume all individuals have same initial infection rates, a susceptible individual's infection rate will be less than the initial rate if he is not infected after limited number of contacts with infected ones. For both two cases, at the time tD, preventive and control measures bring into effects, every individual's infection rate would decrease. We implemented this models on scale-free networks, and found that the epidemic process before the time tD in Case 1 is almost the same as that in Standard SI model if the infection rate in Standard SI model equals the mean infection rate in Case 1. Furthermore, using numerical simulation, we analysis the effects of the parameter tD, and find the bimodal distribution of final infection rates. Finally, we conclude what we get in this paper and give our future direction. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.

Based on the current development of Model Driven Architecture (MDA) in Enterprise Information System (EIS), the paper proposes a DMDA, a new development architecture to improve EIS development speed and quality. The basic idea of the DMDA is to take advantage of formal description, decomposition and re-use on EIS development process to let computer understand development demands of developers and then consequently generate some business models having nothing to do with specific technical realization, combine with specific technical basic platform to finally generate the EIS meeting actual demands based on data model. The practice proves the architecture is capable of simplifying EIS development difficulty, expediting application and development speed, improve development quality and achieve the rapid development purpose. © 2011 IEEE.
