According to the features of mid-wave and long-wave infrared images,they are decomposed into morphology pyramid respectively based on the new multiscale mathematical morphology filters proposed in the *** features such as local maximum gray level and average gradient strength of every image are extracted at each level of morphology *** dualband infrared images based on fusion rule put forward in the paper,and then reconstruct original image and detect target using contrast threshold *** experiment results show that dualband infrared images target detection algorithm based on multiscale morphology algorithm is better than use mid-wave or long-wave infrared images detect targets alone.

Video-based gait recognition is a challenging problem in computer vision. In this paper, fractal scale wavelet analysis is applied to describe and automatically recognize gait. Fractal scale based on wavelet analysis represents the self-similarity of signals, and improves the flexibility of wavelet moments. Optimal wavelets based on generalized multi-resolution analysis are used to improve the recognition rate. Descriptors of fractal scale are translation, scale and rotation invariant. Moreover, a combination of fractal scale and wavelet moments improves the recognition rate. Experiments show that the proposed descriptor is efficient for gait recognition

A novel algorithm of artificial immune system for high-dimensional function numerical optimization

Based on the clonal selection theory and immune memory theory, a novel artificial immune system algorithm, immune memory clonal programming algorithm (IMCPA), is put forward. Using the theorem of Markov chain, it is proved that IMCPA is convergent. Compared with some other evolutionary programming algorithms (like Breeder genetic algorithm), IMCPA is shown to be an evolutionary strategy capable of solving complex machine learning tasks, like high-dimensional function optimization, which maintains the diversity of the population and avoids prematurity to some extent, and has a higher convergence speed.

Adaptive chaos clonal evolutionary programming algorithm

Based on the chaos movement and the clonal selection theory, a novel artificial immune system algorithm, Adaptive Chaos Clonal Evolutionary Programming Algorithm （ACCEP）, is proposed in this paper. The new algorithm uses the Logistic Sequence to control the mutation scale and uses the Chaos Mutation Operator to control the clonal selection. Compared with SGA and Clonal Selection Algorithm, ACCEP can enhance the precision and stability, avoid prematurity to some extent, and have the high convergence speed. The results of the experiment indicate that ACCEP has the capability to solve complex machine learning tasks, like Multimodal Function Optimization.

Based on the directionality of images and combining the direction information with multiple resolution analysis, an image enhancement idea via fusion based on directional filter banks is presented in this paper. Combining with LP analysis further, an image fusion method based on LPDFB is given in the paper. Target detection and location in infrared clutter background is very important to infrared search and track system. Especially for small target detection in infrared image in background of sea and sky, there are no geometric and structure character to use. When targets such as ship and naval vessel sailing at long distance, they always appear around the sea-level line, and it is mixed with cloud and sea-wave clutter. It is difficult to segment and locate precisely. Background suppression based-on wavelet transformation is proposed in the paper. Wavelet decomposition makes it possible to analyze a signal both in time and frequency domains. In the paper infrared sea and key background images are processed. For their SNR is low and background is complex, using wavelet transformation decomposes an original image and extract approximate feature to reconstruct an image, which mainly includes background information. A new image will be obtained using background image subtracted from original image. There are mainly target and noise points left in the new image. By setting proper threshold, the target can be detected perfectly. At last, experiment results are given and show the method is practical. © 2005 IEEE.

Identification of road signs is a hotspot in the visual vehicle-navigation system. In this paper, a directional multiresolution ridgelet (DMRR) network is proposed based on a binary ridgelet frame to recognize traffic road signs in atrocious conditions. A detailed designing of the network and its learning algorithm are given. For the high efficiency of ridgelet in dealing with the directional information and the superiority in high dimension, this new network can obtain higher recognition rate, faster learning and has a more flexible structure than other traditional neural networks.

The quotient space theory obtains a fusion model about semi-order structure under the condition of consistency information, harnessing topology relation among elements of the universe space and hierarchical structure. It has great significance to forming a unified theory structure about information fusion technology. This paper gets a new semi-order structure fusion model under the condition of inconsistency information and proves incompleteness of its semi-order lattice . An example is presented in the paper at last as well as a new method is indicated for Bayesian network structure learning.
