Implementing Industry 4.0 in Discrete Manufacturing: Options and Drawbacks

The Industry 4.0 concept embodies a topic widely discussed during specialized meetings and tutorials. Originally, this approach was interpreted as an attempt to shift industrial processes towards establishing the fully digitized smart factory; at present, however, it already exerts an influence on many other fields and disciplines. In this article, the concept is described from the perspective of discrete manufacturing. The implementation possibilities are outlined, with options such as the Asset Administrative Shell or Consumer-Provider model introduced in greater detail. We also mention some drawbacks to implementing job shop scheduling as provided by the latter option; these disadvantages include, for instance, the deadlock situation. Some methods to solve the problem are demonstrated to facilitate well-balanced presentation. A job shop scheduling algorithm using the AAS is also addressed, and a new evaluation function is proposed. © 2018

The continuous change of communication frequency brings difficulties to the reconnaissance and prediction of non-cooperative communication. The core of this communication process is the frequency-hopping (FH) sequence with pseudo-random characteristics, which controls carrier frequency hopping. However, FH sequence is always generated by a certain model and is a kind of time sequence with certain regularity. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network in deep learning has been proved to have strong ability to solve time series problems. Therefore, in this paper, we establish LSTM model to implement FH sequence prediction. The simulation results show that LSTM-based scheme can effectively predict frequency point by point based on historical HF frequency data. Further, we achieve frequency interval prediction based on frequency point prediction.

A strategy based on local spin-state manipulation was achieved through S-modification on single-Fe-atom catalysts (Fe 1 -NSC). Spectral analyses and theoretical calculations elucidated that a medium-spin reconfiguration of Fe species in Fe 1 -NSC endowed an increased orbital overlap between Fe-3d and O-2p, reinforcing the peroxymonosulfate (PMS) dissociation kinetics. Consequently, Fe 1 -NSC delivered excellent performance in PMS conversion and pollutant degradation. The specific activity of PMS activation over Fe 1 -NSC reached 36.1 × 10 -3 L min -1 m -2 , 4.2-folds that of Fe 1 -NC (8.61 × 10 -3 L min -1 m -2 ) and superior to the state-of-the-art catalysts reported to date. Importantly, the atomic spin-state modulation via S-modification can extend to other metals (Mn, Co and Cu) for improved PMS activation with > 3 times higher than those without S-modification. This work provides a universal scheme for electronic configuration regulation and highlights the significance of local environment modulation in designing high-performance catalysts for PMS activation.

To reduce difficulty of obtaining jamming parameters, combining scattered wave deception jamming method structure with genetic algorithm, a scattered wave deceptive jamming method based on genetic algorithm is proposed against three Channel SAR GMTI. Four-dimensional jamming parameter searching problem is separated as a one-dimensional optimization problem and a two-dimensional optimization problem, which will reduce computational burden and jamming parameter acquirement time and raise fidelity of deceptive jamming. In addition, the problem, that tolerance of Doppler rate mismatch is difficult to describe, is solved by transforming an objective function of the two-dimensional optimization problem. By utilizing jamming quality parameters, simulation experiments are provided to verify the effectiveness of SGA method against the three-channel SAR GMTI.

We give strong analytic and numerical evidence that, under mild measurement assumptions, two qubits cannot both be recycled to generate Bell nonlocality between multiple independent observers on each side. This is surprising, as under the same assumptions it is possible to recycle just one of the qubits an arbitrarily large number of times [P. J. Brown and R. Colbeck, Phys. Rev. Lett. 125, 090401 (2020)]. We derive corresponding 'one-sided monogamy relations' that rule out two-sided recycling for a wide range of parameters, based on a general tradeoff relation between the strengths and maximum reversibilities of qubit measurements. We also show if the assumptions are relaxed to allow sufficiently biased measurement selections, then there is a narrow range of measurement strengths that allows two-sided recycling for two observers on each side, and propose an experimental test. Our methods may be readily applied to other types of quantum correlations, such as steering and entanglement, and hence to general information protocols involving sequential measurements. In the field of indoor positioning, ultra-wideband (UWB) communication technology is the key technology. But the errors caused by non-line of sight (NLOS) communication channels could greatly affect the positioning accuracy. Therefore, identifying the channel type can effectively avoid the above-mentioned errors, thereby helping to reduce the loss of positioning accuracy. This paper proposes a LOS/NLOS channel identification method by using a convolutional neural network (CNN) to identifying the impulse response figures of the channels. This method is capable of identifying four different types of channel impulse response figures and providing excellent identification accuracy. The results show that the accuracy of identifying LOS (0-4m), NLOS (0-4m), NLOS (4-10m) and extreme NLOS channel impulse response figures can reach 98.24%.

To solve the problem of quantitative identification of the state of Duffing oscillator and determination of the critical threshold of reference amplitude, a combined weak signal detection method is proposed in this paper. The STFT statistical characteristics of Duffing oscillator in chaotic state, intermittent state and large-scale periodic state is analyzed and based on it the state identification parameter is selected to quantitatively present the state of Duffing oscillator. The step change of the number of the phase points on the boundary of circular regions in the phase plane is shown and the circular boundary counting method is proposed to determine the critical threshold. Based on above research, the algorithm of the combined weak signal detection is given, which uses Runge-Kutta algorithm to calculate the Duffing system. Simulation results show that this combined method is not only accurate at low SNR, but also robust when noise condition is variable.

Electric vehicles (EVs) will play a vital role in the future's transportation systems since this technology is promising for environment, energy security, and improved fuel economy. EVs have huge potential of serving as the energy storage for the power grid as well as inhabitants in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) or vehicle-to-house (V2H) scenario. In this study, a control method is proposed for EV charging and discharging by using the synchronverter technology and H∞ repetitive controller, where synchronverter technology is used to generate the reference voltage to decide the power angle and amplitude of the AC side voltage of the charging/discharging port, so that the power flow between EV and the grid is controlled. In order to ensure the power quality of EVs provided for the grid and the load while EVs are with local loads, a H∞ repetitive controller is designed to control the voltage between EVs and the grid to follow the reference voltage. Simulation results have shown that the proposed controller is not only able to realise bi-directional real power and reactive power control, but also keep the output voltage of EVs in V2G or V2H scenario stable and clear while they are with different kinds of local loads. © 2019 Institution of engineering and *** right reserved.

In this paper,a resource mobility aware two-stage hybrid task planning algorithm is proposed to reduce the resource conflict between emergency tasks and the common tasks,so as to improve the overall performance of space information ***,in the common task planning stage,a resource fragment avoidance task planning algorithm is proposed,which reduces the contention between emergency tasks and the planned common tasks in the next stage by avoiding the generation of resource *** emergency tasks,we design a metric to quantify the revenue of the candidate resource combination of emergency tasks,which considers both the priority of the tasks and the impact on the planned common *** on this,a resource mobility aware emergency task planning algorithm is proposed,which strikes a good balance between improving the sum priority and avoiding disturbing the planned common ***,simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the existing algorithms in both the sum task priority and the task completion rate.

Modulation Recognition of Composite Signal Based on ResNet and Frequency Domain Graph

Aiming at the problem of composite signal recognition in measurement and control system, a modulation recognition method of composite signal is proposed based on clipped internal modulation signal frequency image and residual network. Residual network has the advantages of fast convergence and high recognition accuracy, which is used to realize the recognition of different modulation modes and different bandwidth signals. The experimental results show that, compared with the traditional decision tree algorithm and the constellation based CNN recognition algorithm, the recognition performance of the proposed method is improved by more than 3dB for the variable bandwidth composite modulation signal set (BPSK-FM and QPSK-FM with internal modulation bandwidth of 128kHz, BPSK-FM and QPSK-FM with internal modulation bandwidth of 2kHz and 2FSK-FM with internal modulation bandwidth of 32kHz and 2kHz).
