Using the pseudo-generalized Hamiltonian method, this paper investigates the decentralized nonlinear robust coordinated control of multiple static synchronous compensators(STATCOMs) in multi-machine multiload power systems. First,the uncertain nonlinear differential algebraic equation model is constructed for the power system. Then, the dissipative pseudogeneralized Hamiltonian realization of the system is established by means of variable transformation and prefeedback ***, based on the obtained dissipative pseudo-generalized Hamiltonian realization, a new-style decentralized nonlinear robust coordinated controller is put forward. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the control scheme.

In order to optimize the kinematic and dynamic performance of a 2-DoF planar parallel mechanism used in hybrid machines, a multi-objective optimization method is introduced. Based on the compare of the common kinematic analysis method and dynamic analysis method, the kinematic and dynamic performances evaluation indices which can be used in the performance optimization are introduced. Then a multi indices optimization method based on genetic algorithm is investigated to achieve the multi performance optimization of the parallel mechanism. In the optimization method, the kinematic, stiffness and dynamic performances are improved by optimizing the geometric and structural parameters of the parallel mechanism. The simulation result indicates that the optimization method is of practical value to improve the development of the parallel mechanism.

The paper presents properties of a system for measurements of quantities which determine thermal state of buildings. The system can be used both in investigations of thermal processes in buildings and for monitoring thermal processes to perform an energy consumption audit. Each measuring instrument is supplied by a separated task, which enables simple modification of programs and introduction of new instrument tasks. With switching power supply being widely used in Smart Meter, there exists more restrictions on the performance of it. This paper designs a single-ended flyback switching power supply based on LNK364DN chips which is used in intelligent single-phase table, Compares the advantages and disadvantages of the switching power supply and the traditional linear regulated power supply, and introduces the reaction type switching power supply design principle and working process. In order to satisfy the security requirements, this paper also designs the EMI suppression circuit, surge suppression current, clamp circuit, etc. The design process, including the maximum duty cycle including transformer, the primary inductance calculation, etc, of the flyback type switch power supply transformer is introduced in detail. The experimental results show that the switch regulated power supply has small volume, good electromagnetic compatibility, small ripple, low power consumption, high efficiency of AC/DC transform and excellent performance .

To improve the positioning accuracy in indoor environments, we use the Inertial Navigation System (INS) algorithm to perform the pedestrian tracking, and the measurements consist of two parts: the velocity error and the heading error. The velocity error can be gotten from the navigation result. Meanwhile, we get the heading error in two ways. First, taking the magnetometer as the heading resource, the magnetic perturbations can be eliminated through a new ellipsoid fitting based calibration algorithm. Furthermore, the building heading algorithm(BHA) is also adopted to aid the Inertial measurement Unit (IMU), the corresponding building heading can be derived based on the motion path. Finally, the Kalman filter (KF) is utilized to fuse the data in order to compensate the sensor error and navigation solution through a 15-dimentional state vector. As a result, some field trials were taken to prove the validity of the proposed algorithm. By contrast the result of Magnetometer (MAG)/BHA/INS and the Zero Velocity update (ZUPT) algorithms, we proved that the algorithm of MAG/BHA aiding INS can effectively improve the indoor positioning accuracy which shows better performance.

The Star Sensor can be used to assist the inertial navigation system (INS) for navigation and positioning, restraining the accumulated error caused by the inertial components. During the integrated navigation process, the Star Sensor is installed above the INS, generated installation errors between the INS body coordinate system and the Star Sensor body coordinate system. In order to increase the system accuracy, a new gyro error model is established in this paper which taken full account of various error factors. The gyro drifts and the gyro errors coefficients are considered as the state variables. The attitude information of Star Sensor is used as the high-accurate information to construct the observation with the attitude information of INS. Taken the nonlinearity of the actual system into account, the nonlinear filter Cubature Kalman Filter (CKF) is used to estimate the gyro errors commendably. The experiment results showed that the positioning error reduced a lot by utilizing this novel method.

The estimation of DOA is an important problem in sensor array signal processing and its industrial applications. Among all the solving techniques for DOA, the Stochastic Maximum Likelihood (SML) algorithm is well-known for its high accuracy of DOA estimation. However, its computational complexity is very high because a multi-dimensional nonlinear optimization problem is involved. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is considered as a rather efficient way for multi-dimensional non-linear optimization problems in DOA estimation. However Conventional PSO algorithm usually needs a large number of particles and the iteration number is also a litter high when all the particles converge. As a result, the computational complexity is still a litter high. This paper proposes a low complexity Joint-PSO (JPSO) algorithm for SML estimation. It uses the solution of Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rotational Invariance Techniques (ESPRIT) and stochastic Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) to determine a novel initialization space. In this case, smaller number of particles and less iteration number are required. Therefore, the computational complexity can be greatly reduced. Simulation results are also shown to demonstrate the validity of proposed JPSO algorithm.
