A Novel Hybrid Transformer-Based Framework for Solar Irradiance Forecasting under Incomplete Data Scenarios

Accurate prediction of solar irradiance is crucial for the effective utilization of solar energy. However, in real-world scenarios, complex irradiance patterns and prevalent incomplete data pose challenges to precise forecasting, resulting in additional uncertainties and instability. To address these issues, this study proposes a novel irradiance forecasting model that integrates a Mask-Transformer data imputation module and a prediction module centered around the typical patterns representation mechanism. The Mask-Transformer leverages a mask modeling mechanism to model the context of missing data, facilitating accurate estimation of missing values and reducing noise and uncertainty in the input data. The typical patterns representation mechanism comprises a series decomposition module and a feature fusion module, providing the module with the capability to mitigate nonlinearity and nonstationarity in solar irradiance data. This enhancement leads to improved short-term forecasting performance while maintaining long-term forecasting capabilities. Experimental results on two datasets demonstrate that the proposed model exhibits sufficient robustness and accuracy, making it effective in scenarios with incomplete data. © 2005-2012 IEEE.

This paper presents a comparative study between the commonly used switches (IGBT, MOSFET, SiC and GaN) for power inverters of electric vehicles. A 400 V, three-phase inverter system simulation test is implemented using LTspice and the conducted emissions are compared to variant CISPR standards and switching frequencies in order to show the possible interferences with the other car equipment. © 2023 IEEE.

Flight test is an essential step before aircraft delivery. Safe flight test can not only reduce the cost of aircraft research, but also has great significance for the study of aircraft performance. In order to ensure the safety of flight test, it is necessary to implement anomaly detection for aircraft systems. Inertial navigation system, as a complex system can provide accurate position, velocity, and attitude information for aircraft during flight test. It is very important to monitor the state of inertial navigation system for ensuring the safety of flight test. However, traditional single anomaly detection models perform poorly on different test data and have poor generalization capabilities. In order to improve the generalization ability of the anomaly detection model with inertial navigation data, this paper proposes a prediction-based anomaly detection method based on an integrated one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1DCNN). Firstly, multiple training sets are divided based on the bootstrap method, and then integrated 1DCNN prediction models are built for corresponding training sets. Finally, a static threshold judgment method based on the PauTa criterion is used to detect whether any abnormality occurs. This paper verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method through experiments with real inertial navigation data. The results show that compared with the traditional 1DCNN method, the proposed method significantly improves the performance of anomaly detection and has good generalization ability on different test conditions. The TPR of anomaly data detection reaches more than 97%, which proves that the method has effective anomaly data detection for inertial data. © 2023 IEEE.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)or drones introduced for military applications are gaining popularity in several other fields as well such as security and surveillance,due to their ability to perform repetitive and tedious tasks in hazardous *** increased demand created the requirement for enabling the UAVs to traverse independently through the Three Dimensional(3D)flight environment consisting of various obstacles which have been efficiently addressed by metaheuristics in past ***,not a single optimization algorithms can solve all kind of optimization problem ***,there is dire need to integrate metaheuristic for general *** address this issue,in this paper,a novel reinforcement learning controlled Grey Wolf Optimisation-Archimedes Optimisation Algorithm(QGA)has been exhaustively introduced and exhaustively validated firstly on 22 benchmark functions and then,utilized to obtain the optimum flyable path without collision for UAVs in three dimensional *** performance of the developed QGA has been compared against the various *** simulation experimental results reveal that the QGA algorithm acquire a feasible and effective flyable path more efficiently in complicated environment.

The diversity and complexity of typical scenarios of intelligent and connected vehicles (ICVs) bring serious risks to the data security of vehicles. To avoid the potential data security risks of ICVs effectively, this paper proposes a data risk analysis method for vehicles based on the characteristics of data assets. Considering the similarity between the internet of things (IoT) system and the internet of vehicles system, this method organizes the data assets of the vehicles combined with the layered architecture of the IoT system. The data security risks of vehicles are analyzed from the aspects of threat analysis, vulnerability analysis, and risk quantification. The risk points of vehicles are analyzed, so as to provide model design and verification methods for data security risk analysis of ICVs. © ASCE.

A missile navigation system model is developed and analyzed in this work. The flight command structure is a crucial component which improves the efficiency of the system. It has a major impact on both the accuracy of the strike and precise control over the missile's performance. The goal of the flight command structure is to instruct the missile to follow the steering directive produced by the control system. The system's representation is determined by how well it establishes the flying course required to intercept the target and sends the commands to the attitude control system required to keep the missile on course while taking the airframe's dynamics and relevant aerodynamic characteristics into account. The missile is guided to attack the target after it has been tracked, and its trajectory is determined by the homing guidance loop utilizing the PID controller-based autopilot mode. In the MATLAB simulation environment, dynamic performance of the missile guidance system is simulated using a step response technique based on time. © 2024 IEEE.

Green Perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes(PeLEDs)have attracted wide attention for full spectrum ***,the inferior film morphology and luminescence property of quasi-two-dimensional(quasi-2D)perovskite layers limit the photoelectric property of the *** this paper,the effect of strontium(Sr)doped in quasi-2D perovskite layers is investigated to obtain a high-quality active *** morphologies and optical properties of Sr-doped quasi-2D perovskite films with different concentrations are *** the addition of strontium,more low-dimensional-layer perovskite phases(n D 2 and n D 3)appear in quasi-2D perovskite films,providing efficient intraband carrier funneling pathway and facilitating radiative *** photoluminescence(PL)peak intensity of optimized Sr-doped quasi-2D perovskite layers increases 50%compared with the non-strontium ***,green PeLEDs based on a Sr-doped quasi-2D perovskite layer reach a maximum luminance(Lmax)of 2943.77 cd/m^(2),which is three times of the control *** electroluminescence(EL)peaks of Maximum External Quantum Efficiency(MEQE)and Lmax of Sr-doped PeLEDs exhibite a slight shift,indicating the excellent stability and performance of Sr-doped *** optimized device can continuously operate for 360 s at MEQE driving voltage,resulting in a half-lifetime of60 s,which is 3-fold greater than that of the control PeLEDs.

Within the theoretical framework of Naive Bayes(NB), Iterative Bayes(IB), as an important variant, was proposed to alleviate the attribute interdependence problem based on output adjustment technique and shows certain performance enhancement. However, like NB, IB also suffers from biased classification and poor robustness against noise on class imbalanced data. To address these problems, cost-sensitive learning is introduced, and by assigning fuzzy-membership values to training data, we propose a class of Fuzzy Weighted Iterative Bayes algorithms (FWIB-CE, FWIB-HE, FWIB-CL-HL) to integrate more prior information from the sample distribution. The experimental results on ten typical imbalanced datasets show our methods have significant outperformance over NB and IB under G-mean evaluation in classification and have higher robustness against noise interference. © 2022 IEEE.

The widespread adoption of deep learning models has inspired an urgent need for their generalization capabilities. Despite their impressive performance on training data, achieving high accuracy on deployed untouched data remains a daunting challenge. To address this problem, improving the model’s adaptability to new samples is imperative. In this paper, we delve into the metrics of deep learning models, pointing out that the upper bound of the generalization error is a quantitative measure of their generalization ability. Outlining methods to enhance this ability, we subsequently improve the LSTM model for modulation recognition using the identified upper bound on the generalization error and the outlined enhancement strategy, significantly improving the accuracy. Finally, an outlook on future research is provided.
