Stereo vision in motion measurement simultaneously acquires the sequence image of feature points from different view angle, and the related motion parameters of the moving targets are solved on basis of the established equations and the 3D coordinates of the feature points in different moment. In recent years, it has emerged as an effective approach for contactless measurements. The nozzle motion parameters such as vector angle and rotation center are required to measure as very important index of rocket engine in ground testing. In this paper, a novel measurement method for nozzle motion parameters based on stereo vision is proposed. Firstly through nozzle's twice swing on different axes the nozzle motion coordinates system is established. Then every instantaneous vector angle and roation center can be obtained by solving pose matrix. Finally, the experiments test is present based on the nozzle motion platform, using the proposed method and validating the feasibility of the measurement method. The experiment results proved the method was able to measure nozzle motion parameters, and the measurement errors were relatively smaller as vector angle becoming smaller.

Information entropy based criteria are analyzed and the Normalized Mutual Information(NMI) that is presented in the field of image registration is revised to Normalized Mutual Information Entropy (NMIE) to meet the need of the evaluation of image fusion algorithms, Then, through analysis to NMIE and some human perception based criteria, and by analyzing the essence of image fusion techniques systematically, a new index, Normalized Perception Mutual Information (NPMI), is defined in view of information transmission as well as edge preservation, and is used to evaluate the performance of image fusion algorithms, The experiments are done to three groups of images, namely, the remote sensing images corrupted by noises, the multifocus images and the medical images obtained by CT and MRI, respectively. Compared with other indices including the root mean square error (RMSE), space frequncy (SF), space visibility (SV), entropy, the collective cross entropy (CCE), information deviation (ID), and the edge information preservation value (EIPV), etc., NPMI is shown to be the only one that is effective in all the eases in the evaluation of the performances of the fused images or the image fusion algorithms, which illustrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the presented algorithm.

A new form of optical wireless communication is presented in this paper. The proposed method is developed from a cheap and simple technology of two dimensional barcode where the data is easily obtained just by using a camera equipped smart phone. In this paper, a computer monitor is used for displaying spatial modulation images and a webcamera is used as a receiver. Consequently, the acquired images are decoded by an in-house software. The encoding process is done by applying the 2D barcode scheme. Initial experimentations are preformed to prove the concept of the method.

Heterogeneous cellular networks which consist of macrocells and small cells can offer significant capacity gain by utilizing the resources of the small cells. However, to achieve this, the interference between the macrocells and the small cells must be carefully managed. In this work, we propose an uplink intercell interference control (ICIC) scheme which is a unified ICIC approach of handover based interference control and rate-split based interference control. The handover based interference control scheme is a win-win strategy which enhances both interfering user's rate and interfered user's rate. On the other hand, the rate-split based interference control scheme is a yield-win strategy where an interfering user sacrifices his rate to save the interfered user's rate. In this paper, we assume that users have their target QoS such as minimum rate when they send their data. The proposed uplink ICIC scheme reduces the interference as best as possible while it guarantees the minimum QoS. Simulation results shows that the proposed ICIC scheme offers enhanced rate or fairness than legacy ICIC schemes which are not considering user QoS. The proposed ICIC scheme works in distributed manner with low-complexity so that it can be applied to self-organizing network and mobile ad-hoc networks as well as heterogeneous cellular networks.

In heterogeneous cellular networks (HCN) which consists of macrocells and numerous picocells, efficient interference management schemes between macrocells and picocells are so crucial to the overall system performance. We propose a dynamic cooperative silencing control (DCS) scheme for intercell interference control (ICIC). It is a low-complex, low-feedback and distributed algorithm using only strongly interfered neighboring users' information. The system simulation shows that the system performance and in particular the cell-edge throughput is significantly increased with the proposed silencing scheme. It offers 420% and 190% higher average spectral efficiency and edge-user spectral efficiency in compared to macrocell only case, respectively.

A novel bandstop Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) is presented, in which a unit cell consists of two metallic of spiral strips of different lengths and a dielectric substrate in the middle. Both simulation and measurement are presented to show that the FSS can realize size reduction and ultra-wideband response. By changing the lengths of some outer strips the miniaturization amount and bandwidth can be adjusted. Moreover, all these responses are stable with respect to different incident angles, which make the proposed structure more valuable for practical application.
