Thanks to development of information technology, the so-called virtual software environments offer wide possibilities for the estimation of time-space dynamical characteristics of energy systems, including modeling, control and design of distributed parameter systems. Based on these advances, we present a novel approach to control energy systems as lumped-input and distributed-parameter-output systems. An adaptive-predictive controller is deployed to control temperature fields to ensure optimal conditions for the desulphurization process in a coal-burning fluidized bed furnace, demonstrating the potential of the proposed methodology.

In this paper, a novel unified channel model framework is proposed for cooperative multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless channels. The proposed model framework is generic and adaptable to multiple cooperative MIMO scenarios by simply adjusting key model parameters. Based on the proposed model framework and using a typical cooperative MIMO communication environment as an example, we derive a novel geometry-based stochastic model (GBSM) applicable to multiple wireless propagation scenarios. The proposed GBSM is the first cooperative MIMO channel model that has the ability to investigate the impact of the local scattering density (LSD) on channel characteristics. From the derived GBSM, the corresponding multi-link spatial correlation functions are derived and numerically analyzed in detail.

To solve many key technical problems during the development of modern instrumentation system integration and provide a new mode and fundamental technical equipment for the research and development (R&D) of modern instrumentation products, based on the concept of an instrumentation flexible developing system (IFDS), this paper discusses the creation and open flexible integration mechanism, perfects the integrated supporting environment and integrated system of the flexible interconnection, and constructs the new flexible integrated system. Based on the operation mechanism of the modern instrumentation developing system and the research and optimization of the rapid integration design method, the paper emphasizes the dynamic integrating method of multiple types of knowledge in a modem instrument R&D system, to effectively utilize the rich integrated resource and achieve rapid integration of the system. Applications show that the new IFDS can improve the integration level and efficiency of R&D of the modern instrumentation system, enforce the reliability of the system, shorten the R&D period, and reduce the development costs.

Packet analysis is very important in our digital life. But what protocol analyzers can do is limited because they can only process data in determined format. This paper puts forward a solution to decode raw data in an unknown format. It is certain that data can be cut into packets because there are usually characteristic bit sequences in packet headers. The key to solve the problem is how to find out those characteristic sequences. We present an efficient way of bit sequence enumeration. Both Aho-Corasick (AC) algorithm and data mining method are used to reduce the cost of the process.
