The fractional Foruier transform (FrFT) is introduced into the dual nonlinear optical correlation. The dual nonlinear fractional correlation can be realized by the nonlinear operations on the FrFT of the reference images and the target ones. The proposed scheme gives different weights to different shapes and textures by nonlinear parameters and fractional orders. Therefore the properties of target recognition can be controlled. The dual nonlinear fractional correlator can be implemented by an opto-electronical setup. The simulation results show that the most remarkable characteristic of this system is that it has the variable and adjustable discrimination capability to shape changes and texture distortions of the objects. In addition it can improve the performances of the correlation output peak and it has better rubustness to noise.

A neural based PID feedback control method for networked process control systems is presented. As there are some uncertain factors such as external disturbance, randomly delayed measurements or control demands in real networked process control systems, the proposed PID controller is implemented by backpropagation neural networks whose weights are updated via minimizing tracking error entropy of closed loop systems. To demonstrate the potential applications of the proposed strategy, an example of a simulated batch reactor is provided. The proposed design method is shown to be useful and effective in dealing with network process control systems.

The active train plan should be adjusted or a new plan should be created to deal with the exceptional case brought by the special operation conditions in high-speed rail, such as natural disasters, accidents, and large passenger flow, and so on,. How to evaluate the reasonality of the new plan is important. A fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) combined qualitative and quantitative analysis is put forward to solve the problem. Firstly, an evaluation index system for high-speed railway train plan on the special operation conditions is built, and the indexes are made dimensionless. Then the relative weights of evaluation indexes are determined by analytic hierarchy process, and high-speed railway train plans on the special operation conditions are evaluated by comprehensive fuzzy evaluation method. Finally, Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail is taken as example. The special operation condition is simulated and the corresponding train plans are created and evaluated. Then the rank of the plans can be obtained. The simulation results show that the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is a feasible method to evaluate the high-speed railway train plans on the special operation conditions.

Resource management is a complicated problem in multiprocessor system. When tasks with real-time characteristic are scheduled on processor resource constraints such as CPU and memory have to be met, however, it is usually difficult for a system to ensure load balancing and resource constraints simultaneity. In order to handle this problem lots of algorithms have been brought forward. In this paper, a load balancing policy is proposed to manage and integrate processing resource of multiprocessor system which is used to send packets of packets flows on time. The policy dynamically predicts the wait time before a packet to be processed based on the load of the processor and the timestamp of the packet, and decides the migration of packet between processors to guarantee that the packets can be processed before deadline. This policy can not only increase the multiprocessor utilization but also enhance the capacity of the system against the jitter of load by packets migration between the processors as well. We use simulation experiment to show that the policy can reduce the possibility of packets delay and increase the concurrency of flows that the system can serve.

Almost all industrial processes exhibit nonlinear dynamics, however most model predictive control (MPC) applications are based on linear models. Linear models do not always give a sufficiently adequate representation of the system and therefore Nonlinear Model Predictive control (NMPC) techniques have to be used. In this article, two techniques of NMPC, namely successive linearization nonlinear model predictive control (SLNMPC) and wiener nonlinear model predictive control (WNMPC) are applied to nonlinear process systems. The major advantage of the two methods being that the NMPC problem is reduced to a linear model predictive control (LMPC) problem at each time step which thereafter allows the optimization problem to be solved using quadratic programming (QP) techniques. Another advantage of these methods is the reduced computational time in calculating the control effort which makes them suitable for online implementation. Both simulation and experimental results show the superiority of the SLNMPC over WNMPC in handling process nonlinearity. The work also shows the favourable performance of the NMPC over LMPC, as expected.

This paper introduces a kind of test based on vector compression/ decompression method. For purpose of test equipment storage capacity not enough in Soc test. Through a concrete coding scheme, and the comparison with other encodings we find the Golomb encoding used to test vectors compression/ decompression is simple and effective method. use this method to simulation experiment on SoC Test Benchmarks. Shows that this method can improve the better compression ratio, reduce the tests cost. In order to prove its validity, the developed algorithm is simulated using the ALTERA Quartus II software.
