Random bit generators are critical for information security,cryptography,stochastic modeling,and *** and scalability are key challenges faced by current physical random bit ***,we propose a massively parallel scheme for ultrafast random bit generation towards rates of order 100 terabit per second based on a single micro-ring resonator.A modulation-instability-driven chaotic comb in a micro-ring resonator enables the simultaneous generation of hundreds of independent and unbiased random bit streams.A proof-of-concept experiment demonstrates that using our method,random bit streams beyond 2 terabit per second can be successfully generated with only 7 comb *** bit rate can be easily enhanced by further increasing the number of comb lines *** approach provides a chip-scale solution to random bit generation for secure communication and high-performance computation,and offers superhigh speed and large scalability.

This paper focuses on the sliding mode fault-tolerant control (SMFTC) problem for a class of delayed nonlinear systems in presence of actuator fault and nonlinear input. Firstly, the augmented strategy involving system state, actuator fault and external disturbance is constructed, and then the fault-tolerant observer is designed accordingly. An SMFTC law ensuring the asymptotical stability of the reduce-order estimation error is provided subsequently. To further illustrate the system performance, a new sliding function with respect to decomposed signal is constructed and the asymptotically stability of sliding motion is analyzed. Moreover, a novel adaptive-based sliding mode controller is presented to steer the system state onto the sliding manifold. Finally, a verification example is considered to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed SMFTC approach. © 2021 IEEE.

Under the multi-cloud environment of mobile communication networks, unattended terminals would possibly be involved in different tasks. For the network security, terminals should be authenticated by cloud service providers (CSPs) before being involved in various tasks. As a new cryptology primitive, Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) can be served as a trusted root for unattended terminals and provide security property against physical attacks, based on which physical secure authentication can be executed. However, applying the PUF directly to the multi-cloud environment caused the authentication scheme to rely on the storage of the primitive challenge-response pairs, and there was a single point of failure problem. To solve these issues, we propose an authentication and key agreement scheme named RSOPM for secure authentication between terminals and CSPs. Specifically, mutual authentication without the storage of the primitive challenge-response pairs on the cloud is enabled by exploiting the trapdoor collision property of the chameleon hash function. Moreover, the redactable blockchain containing distributed registration information makes a terminal register only once, and then the terminal gains access to the various CSPs. The security properties are discussed to show our scheme resists various attacks. The results of experiments show that the overall delay is reduced by 33 % compared to other multi-cloud authentication schemes. © 2023 IEEE.

IIoT is the integration of conventional IoT principles into industrial operations. IIoT has a wide range of practical applications, including but not limited to supply chain management, connected cars, smart grids, smart cities, and smart homes. Regrettably, these systems are increasingly becoming the focus of cybercrime attacks. Machine learning is a promising technology for creating and implementing resilient security measures in IIoT networks. A new and innovative approach to detecting cyberattacks in the IIoT is proposed in this document, through the use of a hybrid machine classifier (HMC). The HMC model is a unique amalgamation of different ML models, such as K-nearest neighbor (KNN), extra trees (ET), gradient boosting (GB), AdaBoost (AB), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), ), naive Bayes (NB), support vector machine (SVM), random forest (RFlinear regression (LR), and classification and regression tree (CART). The DS2OS dataset is used to evaluate the proposed method's effectiveness. Several performance metrics, including recall, precision, accuracy, specificity, F1 score, detection rate, and ROC are used to evaluate the system's performance. The proposed model successfully distinguishes between normal and attack traffic, achieving an accuracy rate of 99.7% and 99.8%, respectively. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method, its performance metrics were compared to those of other advanced attack detection algorithms. The outcomes demonstrated that the proposed model outperformed other ML and DL-based techniques © 2023 IEEE.

It proposes a path following control strategy for intelligent vehicles under extreme conditions based on feedback linearization and linear quadratic regulator(LQR).Firstly,the vehicle dynamics model and the vehicle kinematics model are established,and the affine nonlinear vehicle system model under the extreme condition is established by these two ***,the complex nonlinear vehicle system model is linearized using the feedback linearization method to obtain a simpler linear system ***,according to the obtained linear vehicle system model,the LQR method is used to design the tracking controller to obtain the optimal control input,so as to ensure the stability of the system and the optimality of the target,and realize the intelligent vehicle path *** affirm the effectiveness of the tracking method,a series of Carsim/Simulink co-simulation experiments are carried *** results show that the effects of path tracking combined with feedback linearization and LQR are significantly better than the other two methods,thus the path tracking method proposed in the paper is effectively verified.

Subpixel localization techniques for estimating the positions of point-like images captured by pixelated image sensors have been widely used in diverse optical measurement *** unavoidable imaging noise,there is a precision limit(PL)when estimating the target positions on image sensors,which depends on the detected photon count,noise,point spread function(PSF)radius,and PSF’s intra-pixel *** studies have clearly reported the effects of the first three parameters on the PL but have neglected the intra-pixel position ***,we develop a localization PL analysis framework for revealing the effect of the intra-pixel position of small *** accurately estimate the PL in practical applications,we provide effective PSF(e PSF)modeling approaches and apply the Cramér–Rao lower *** on the characteristics of small PSFs,we first derive simplified equations for finding the best PL and the best intra-pixel region for an arbitrary small PSF;we then verify these equations on real ***,we use the typical Gaussian PSF to perform a further analysis and find that the final optimum of the PL is achieved at the pixel boundaries when the Gaussian radius is as small as possible,indicating that the optimum is ultimately limited by light ***,we apply the maximum likelihood *** combination with e PSF modeling allows us to successfully reach the PL in experiments,making the above theoretical analysis *** work provides a new perspective on combining image sensor position control with PSF engineering to make full use of information theory,thereby paving the way for thoroughly understanding and achieving the final optimum of the PL in optical localization.

In the field of multi-band fusion imaging, multi-band coherent registration will directly affect the final imaging result. In this paper, the influence of incoherent factors such as target velocity and system error on the high resolution range profile(HRRP) is quantitatively analyzed. Aiming at solving the distortion problem of HRRP, based on image entropy and compressed sensing theory, velocity compensation algorithm and system error compensation algorithm are designed to compensate the additional phases generated by incoherent factors, which restore the real HRRP and make lower and upper bands achieve coherence. Simulation verifies the effectiveness of the compensation algorithms. © 2023 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

In the field of machine vision, algorithms for estimating optical flow in sequential images have been proposed for many years. However, due to the advancements in image resolution and video frame rates of sensor, the optical flow algorithm running on a CPU or a GPU may struggle to meet real-time processing and low power consumption requirements. This paper presents an FPGA-based accelerated method for high-speed LK optical flow estimation. We implemented a serial input and multi-window output buffer structure to enhance the algorithm's parallel processing capability and improve processing speed. Additionally, we designed a multi-clock convolution structure to reduce resource consumption. Tested on the Middlebury dataset, the FPGA-based LK optical flow algorithm developed in this paper can achieve a processing speed of 330 frames per second for image sequences with a resolution of 640x480. It also maintains a relatively high level of accuracy and has low power consumption. © 2024 SPIE.

Computer-aided diagnosis has emerged as a crucial trend in modern medicine. Recently, CT-based automatic detection algorithms for lung infectious diseases suffer from issues of low accuracy and complex architecture. In this paper, three MoB-NetV2 models (MoB-NetV2-SNN, MoB-NetV2-ELM, and MoB-NetV2-RVFL) for the detection of COVID-19 in CTs are proposed. the MoB-NetV2 model is proposed by inserting batch normalization layers between bottlenecks in MobileNetV2 and substituting the fully connected layer with the Net-1 model (SNN, ELM, RVFL), i.e. MoB-NetV2-SNN, MoB-NetV2-ELM, and MoB-NetV2-RVFL. After comparison, it is found that the proposed MoB-NetV2-RVFL achieves an average accuracy of 93.42% on a private dataset comprising of 2392 images, while the precision is reached at 97.33%. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that our MoB-NetV2-RVFL outperforms other existing algorithms in the literature. High classification accuracy and precision and low computing amount are achieved, thereby enhancing the potential application of the model in the field of medical image-aided diagnosis of COVID-19 virus. © The Institution of engineering & technology 2024.
