In 1986 she became an Associate Professor at Shizuoka University in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering where she was promoted to Professor in 1991. She has been engaged in research on cluttering of relays holographic observation of surface waves ultrasound measurement of liquid and surface plasmon of biosensors. She is a member of the Applied Physics Society Acoustic Society Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan and IEEE.
