MEMS LiDAR has been drawing more and more attention as a representative achievement in low power consumption and miniaturization integration of LiDAR research. To address the problem that traditional angle calibration methods for mechanical LiDAR are not completely applicable in MEMS LiDAR due to different sources of angle errors, a neural network-based method for fast angle calibration of MEMS LiDAR is proposed. The calibration field only consists of a rotating platform and an angular reflector. By modelling the calibration field and analyzing the error sources of MEMS LiDAR, including the mounting error, the nonlinear error, and the systematic error, a neural network model was then developed to correct the angle measurement errors. The experimental results show that the method is reasonable and effective and is able to achieve fast angle calibration of MEMS LiDAR. © 2021 IEEE.

Designing a data-driven predictive controller for lateral stability of vehicles on compacted-snow rutted roads, especially when the data is subjected to non-stationary noise disturbances, is a significant challenge. This paper introduces a novel subspace predictive equation construction method that incorporates filtering using the inverse of a first-order disturbance model. Based on this, a filtering data-driven predictive controller is designed. The proposed method is tested through numerical simulations and MATLAB/CarSim co-simulation. Simulation results show that the proposed subspace predictive equation with filtering effectively mitigates the variance and bias introduced by non-stationary noise. The co-simulation results demonstrate that the controller ensures the stability and robustness of the vehicle system.

A zero-sample fault diagnosis method based on fuzzy fault feature representation for attribute prediction is proposed to address the challenge of insufficient fault data samples covering all types of multiple faults in actual diesel engine *** simulation analysis of single and multiple fault operational states of diesel engines using AVL-boost? simulation software,along with the variation patterns of single fault thermodynamic parameters and the coupling patterns of multiple faults,category information for multiple fault diagnosis is *** membership functions are employed to describe fault features,and an SVM attribute trainer is established using single fault data to predict attribute values for multiple faults without data *** nearest neighbor search algorithm is utilized to infer the most suitable multiple fault *** results demonstrate that the proposed method exhibits excellent performance in the diagnosis of multiple fault in diesel engines,with a prediction accuracy of 96.62% for fault attributes and a final multiple fault diagnosis accuracy of 97.31%,thereby providing a basis for zero-sample multiple fault diagnosis in diesel engines.

Background: China is a big country with a vast territory, in which gastropathy has become a common high-incidence disease in daily life. Gastroscopy is an important means of diagnosis of gastropathy, but the use of a gastroscope causes a lot of pain to patients. A cable-free, non-invasive and painless diagnosis and treatment tool, an active capsule endoscope robot, can solve this problem very well. Capsule robot has become a new development hotspot. Objective: The study aims to provide an overview of the active endoscope capsule robot and introduce its classification, characteristics and development. Methods: This paper summarizes various scientific research achievements of the active endoscope capsule robot. The structural characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of various active endoscope capsule robots are introduced. Results: The active endoscope capsule robot has been analyzed and compared to other models. Its typical characteristics have been summarized. The main problems in its development are analyzed, its development trend is prospected, and the research status and future of active endoscope capsule robot are discussed. Conclusion: The active capsule robot is classified into two categories: bionic and non-bionic. The analysis shows that the capsule robot is an effective and safe initiative and has a very broad application prospect for various gastrointestinal tests compared to gastroscope, and helps alleviate the pain of patients. © 2022 Bentham Science Publishers.

All the materials in globe have its own resistivity property in general. This resistive property is considered for its electrical conduction behaviour. Most commonly, the physical parameters like temperature, pressure, strain, and strength of a material may vary whenever a material gets electricity in it. Shape Memory Alloys also gets those parameters change while experiencing electricity. Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) are widely used in many sectors, like industrial, medical and robotics for its flexibility with electrical resistance, light weight and phase reformation behaviour in thermal environment. NiTinol is one of the Shape Memory Alloy which is frequently used for commercial applications. SMA has shape change due to the temperature change. It has three stages of shapes (cooled shape, heated shape, and natural shape) in its thermal environment. In this paper these shape change due to the electrically created thermal environment is modelled and temperature variation may analysed using COMSOL.A design of Microsystem based on SMA spring is the main focus for this research work. Mechanical behaviour is also modelled for SMA spring under electrically created thermal environment. Mainly nonlinear actuation of a SMA is concentrated.

The deep crate grasping problem is a major challenge for manipulator in industrial applications. In order to solve the issue of deep crate grasping and ensure the path quality of the algorithm, this paper proposes a new hybrid obstacle avoidance planning algorithm based on goal-biased rapidly exploring random tree and improved artificial potential field (RRT-APF). Initially, the algorithm strategizes an efficient trajectory for the working element within the operational area. Subsequently, it dissects this trajectory through sampling, creating a sequence of sub-target points. These points serve as the basis for obstacle avoidance planning within the manipulator's configuration space, mitigating planning complexities. Moreover, the RRT algorithm is employed to address the challenge of local optima within the artificial potential field method. The stochastic nature of the RRT algorithm plays a crucial role in enabling the APF algorithm to break free from local optima. Ultimately, the efficacy of the algorithm is demonstrated through the planning of a path for obstacle avoidance on the DOBOT CR5 manipulator using MATLAB. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to provide a flowing fuel source for the measurement performance test device of fuel dispenser patent test, a fuel supply system was designed and manufactured. After the determination of the technical requirements for the fuel supply system, the structure, electrical and software design and key equipment selection were introduced at length in this paper. There are 3 kinds of ISOPAR L, D80, and D110 organic solvent (working medium) stored in 3 fuel tanks with actual capacity of 2m 3 , and the system has the functions of storage, circulation, temperature control of the working medium and fault self-inspection. In the electrical design, the DELTA DVP40EX200R PLC was selected as the core controller for the onsite equipment for its appropriate electrical resources and multiple auxiliary analog signal acquisition modules. And the human-machine interaction interface was the touch panel. After the design and manufacturing of the fuel supply system, a fuel dispenser metering performance test was conducted with the cooperation of the system. The test showed that the fuel supply system was designed reasonably and operated well. Furthermore, the fuel supply system designed in this article can not only be used for fuel dispenser pattern test, but also provide a solution for the automatic oil delivery system in oil depots.

Nowadays, distributed radar network system has become a hot research issue because its performance is superior to monostatic radar in target positioning accuracy, detection probability, detection range. The distributed radar network is made up of N(N>=2) active radar nodes, and each radar has its own clock, therefore, time synchronization is important issue for cooperative detection. In this paper, we have developed a distributed wireless radar network, which is a portable prototype composed of three pseudo-random coded radars (N=3). The processing flow of distributed wireless radar data is introduced for the positioning and tracking of the target inside the wall. A wireless radar signal time synchronization scheme is proposed, the fast time synchronization is based on the arrival time of the direct coupled wave of the antenna, and the slow time synchronization is based on the state matching of a moving target, a template matching algorithm is used to estimate the time bias. Based on the multi-station radar data, Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is applied to determine the location the target, and the Kalman filter algorithm is used to track the moving target. © The Institution of engineering & technology 2023.

In this paper, one kind of polarization independent terahertz perfect absorber of narrow band based on cross and open ring structure of graphene is proposed. The effects of Fermi energy level and structure size of graphene on the absorption characteristics of meta-material absorber were studied by using CST electromagnetic simulation software. The physical mechanism is explained by impedance matching theory. The results show that when the Fermi energy level of graphene is 0.5 eV, the radius of inner ring is 8 μm, the radius of outer ring is 11.5 μm, the width of cross is 1.5 μm, and the thickness of silica dielectric layer is 10 μm, the absorber can realize 98% perfect absorption in 4.48 THz. Moreover, due to the symmetry of the structure, the absorber is independent of polarization. This result has great applications for the realization of ultra-thin tunable smart devices in the terahertz band by using patterned graphene. © 2023 SPIE.
