Antiferroelectric materials with double hysteresis loops are attractive for energy storage applications,which are becoming increasingly important for power electronics *** them,AgNbO_(3) based lead-free ceramics have attracted intensive interest as one of promising environmental-friendly ***,most of the AgNbO_(3) based ceramics suffers from low dielectric breakdown strength(Eb).The limitation of low Eb is broken to some extent in this ***,AgNbO_(3) epitaxial films were fabricated by pulsed laser deposition,which possess high Eb of 624 kV/***(001)AgNbO_(3) epitaxial film reveals typical antiferroelectric hysteresis loops when the applied electric fields are over 300 kV/cm.A recoverable energy density of 5.8 J/cm^(3) and an energy efficiency of 55.8%are obtained at 600 kV/cm,which demonstrates the great promise of the AgNbO_(3) film for energy storage applications.

The reliability of smart electricity meters was significantly affected by environment, field operation testing of smart electricity meters was conducted in high altitude locations, and one year operation data including power error were collected. This paper investigated the degradation behaviors of smart electricity meters with the help of Wiener process. The variation coefficients were introduced to analyze the characteristics of unknown parameters in the degradation model. Reliability estimates were computed according to the maximum likelihood and were compared to the results from different parameter characteristics. A case study validates that the reliability modelling method and provide guidelines for design, maintenance and applications of smart electricity meters. © 2020 IEEE.

As recent trends in manufacturing engineering disciplines show a clear development in the sustainable as well as economically efficient design of forming processes, monitoring techniques have been gaining in relevance. In terms of monitoring of product properties, most processes are currently open-loop controlled, entailing that the microstructure evolution, which determines the final product properties, is not considered. However, a closed-loop control that can adjust and manipulate the process actuators according to the required product properties of the component will lead to a considerable increase in efficiency of the processes regarding resources and will decrease postproduction of the component. For most forming processes, one set of component dimensions will result in a certain set of product properties. However, to successfully establish closed-loop property controls for the processes, a systematic understanding of the reciprocity of the dimensions after forming and final product properties must be established. This work investigates the evolution of dimensional accuracy as well as product properties for a series of forming processes that utilize different degrees of freedom for process control. © 2023, The Authors. Phthalate acid esters (PAEs), known food contaminants, can lead to reproductive problems, respiratory diseases, childhood obesity, and neuropsychological disorders. This work aims to develop an electrochemical aptamer sensor for the detection of DAP and its analogs. To achieve specific recognition ability for PAEs, We have introduced the thymidine-Hg2+-thymidine strategy for the first time in an electrochemical aptamer sensor, incorporating metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as the carrier for the aptamer. Additionally, nanoamplification technology was applied by immobilizing MXene on the electrode to intensify the sensor's current signal. In the presence of PAEs, these molecules specifically bound to the aptamers, resulting in competitive release of Hg2+ and aptamers connected to Hg2+, subsequently reducing current signaling. Under optimal experimental conditions, the designed sensor achieved a linear range from 1.65×10-5 mg/mL to 3×10-2 mg/ml and an extremely low detection limit of 8.94×10-6 mg/mL. Furthermore, it exhibited good reliability and practicality in detecting actual samples. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

We report a succession of pressure-tuned structural transitions in the topological nodal-line superconductor PbTaSe2, evidenced from synchrotron x-ray diffraction, elastic neutron scattering, Raman spectroscopy, and electrical transport measurements up to 56 GPa, accompanied by first-principles calculations to uncover the evolution of the underlying electronic structure. In contrast to the previously proposed small shift of the Pb Wyckoff coordinate in the sub-GPa regime, our study reveals that it is rather a transition from P6¯m2 (α phase) to P63mc (β phase), subsequently followed by a transition to P6/mmm (γ phase) at ∼7.5 GPa and to Pmmm (δ phase) at ∼44 GPa. In addition, the first-principles calculations unambiguously demonstrate the multiple types of topological fermions associated with these different pressure-driven structures. Collectively, our results not only present the intriguing structural transitions in this topological PbTaSe2 superconductor, they also provide the impetus to study topological phase transitions and their physical consequences in a broader class of topological materials.

To improve the disturbance rejection ability and repetitive tracking accuracy of manipulators, a composite iterative learning control (ILC) scheme via generalized proportional integral observer (GPIO) is proposed. A high-order polynomial is first employed to model the time-varying disturbances that include unmodeled dynamics, parameter uncertainties and load fluctuations. A GPIO is then designed to estimate the disturbances and high-order time derivatives. By introducing estimations into a PD-type ILC at each iteration, a composite control scheme is obtained, such that the undesirable influence of time-varying disturbances can be effectively attenuated in the repetitive tracking process of manipulators. In this paper, the rigorous stability analysis of the closed-loop system is presented to guarantee that the tracking error exponentially converges to zero as the iteration number tends to infinity. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is finally verified by simulation results.

This research focuses on developing an automated system to identify the breed and sex of Thai beef cattle using advanced computer vision technology. By using the YOLOv11 (You Only Look Once) model, a state-of-the-art object detection tool, this system can quickly and accurately identify cattle breeds and determine their sex. High-resolution image datasets were collected and augmented, yielding 81.2% accuracy for breed detection and 95.0% for sex classification, with mAP@50 scores of 85.1% and 99.3%, respectively. However, limited data for certain breeds, like Thai Native and Japanese cattle, reduced the model’s performance for those categories. To overcome this, we aim to expand the dataset from CCTV footage in future studies. The system will include user-friendly features, such as real-time alerts and dashboards, making it practical for farmers to use. This project demonstrates how AI can improve cattle farming by saving time, reducing errors, and supporting better decisions. Future improvements will explore applications in disease detection and behavior monitoring.

Heat Transfer Performance of the Vapor Chamber with Spiral Support Column-Composite Wick

Inefficient heat dissipation in vapor chambers (VCs) is the major challenge in developing the vapor chamber. To study the effect of support columns on the maximum thermal power and thermal resistance of VCs, the relationship between the support column of the VC and the vapor pressure loss is analyzed. The relationship between the number of columns and the vapor channel pressure drop is obtained through numerical simulation and pressure drop test. The thermal performance test platform of the composite wick vapor chamber (CWVC) is built. The results show that the optimal filling ratios of the composite wick with three to six spiral support columns are 60%, 70%, 90%, and 70%, respectively, and the maximum thermal powers are 19.25 W, 25.61 W, 25.97 W, and 21.22 W, respectively. At power less than 24 W, SSC4-CWVC has more uniform temperature distribution and lower thermal resistance. At power over 27 W, SSC5-CWVC has the same characteristics. Besides, at 48W, the surface temperature difference of the condenser of SSC3-CWVC is 4.5℃, and the surface temperature difference between SSC4-CWVC and SSC5-CWVC is less than 3.0℃. Therefore, the SSC4-CWVC is suitable for low-power and SSC5-CWVC for higher-power applications. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Two Rapid Power Iterative DOA Estimators for UAV Emitter Using Massive/Ultra-massive Receive Array

To provide rapid direction finding (DF) for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) emitter in future wireless networks, a low-complexity direction of arrival (DOA) estimation architecture for massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) receiver arrays is constructed. In this paper, we propose two strategies to address the extremely high complexity caused by eigenvalue decomposition of the received signal covariance matrix. Firstly, a rapid power-iterative rotational invariance (RPI-RI) method is proposed, which adopts the signal subspace generated by power iteration to gets the final direction estimation through rotational invariance between subarrays. RPI-RI makes a significant complexity reduction at the cost of a substantial performance loss. In order to further reduce the complexity and provide a good directional measurement result, a rapid power-iterative Polynomial rooting (RPI-PR) method is proposed, which utilizes the noise subspace combined with polynomial solution method to get the optimal direction estimation. In addition, the influence of initial vector selection on convergence in the power iteration is analyzed, especially when the initial vector is orthogonal to the incident wave. Simulation results show that the two proposed methods outperform the conventional DOA estimation methods in terms of computational complexity. In particular, the RPI-PR method achieves more than two orders of magnitude lower complexity than conventional methods and achieves performance close to CRLB. Moreover, it is verified that the initial vector and the relative error have a significant impact on the performance of the computational complexity. Copyright © 2022, The Authors.
