Auto-GAN: GAN-Based Self-Supervised Collaborative Learning for Robust Spatio-Temporal Trajectory Classification in IoT

With the rapid proliferation of crowd mobility data produced by ubiquitous mobile devices equipped with spatial positioning modules, deep neural networks (DNNs) have become widely applied in spatio-temporal trajectory modeling. However, recent studies have shown that DNNs are vulnerable to adversarial examples with strong transferability, which are crafted by introducing small perturbations to original examples but can cause catastrophic mistakes. To mitigate this vulnerability and enhance model robustness, we propose a novel self-supervised collaborative learning framework named Auto-GAN that consists of a generator for automatically learning robust latent features and a discriminator for providing comprehensive guidance to the generator. By leveraging the collaboration between the generator and discriminator, our proposed method significantly improves the denoising performance. Moreover, we combine point-level and feature-level constraints into training processes between original example reconstruction and adversarial example denoising, thereby effectively suppressing the potential "error amplification effect". Extensive experiments conducted on two representative real-world mobility datasets show that our proposed method can significantly enhance the model’s robustness against various adversarial attacks, while preserving the model’s prediction accuracy on original examples. © 2014 IEEE.

A 2-stage strategy updating rule promotes cooperation in the prisoner's dilemma game

In this study,we propose a spatial prisoner＇s dilemma game model with a 2-stage strategy updating rule,and focus on the cooperation behavior of the *** the first stage,i.e.,the pre-learning stage,a focal player decides whether to update his strategy according to the pre-learning factor β and the payoff difference between himself and the average of his *** the player makes up his mind to update,he enters into the second stage,i.e.,the learning stage,and adopts a strategy of a randomly selected neighbor according to the standard Fermi updating *** simulation results show that the cooperation level has a non-trivial dependence on the pre-learning ***,the cooperation frequency decreases as the pre-learning factor increases;but a high cooperation level can be obtained in the intermediate region of- 3〈 β 〈-*** then give some explanations via studying the co-action of pre-learning and *** results may sharpen the understanding of the influence of the strategy updating rule on evolutionary games.

This paper presents a novel virtual hierarchical tree topology for large scale wireless sensor network. The sensor nodes are divided into clusters, in which one router takes the role for communication with these sensors. Routers are formed into a virtual hierarchical tree, which is the topology of sub wireless sensor network. Routers are managed by coordinate nodes, which form VIRGO P2P network. This strategy may establish the global wireless sensor network with good scalability. © 2011 IEEE.

Sharing of information is an important topic for healthcare. Traditionally, information sharing uses client/server technology, but it has many shortcomings in the cases of huge number of users and huge amount of data. P2P technology is now considered as the suitable computing model to the above cases. There are mainly two types of P2P technologies -the unstructured approach and the structured approach based on distributed Hash Table (DHT). However, these two kinds of P2P approaches do not care about the semantic meaning of the nodes. They do not care about the nodes whose users may take different roles in social groups in the communities. This leads to lack of powerful solutions for selecting healthcare information by complicated conditions. Here, we present a semantic P2P Network- Virtual Hierarchical Tree Gird Organizations (VIRGO) for healthcare to solve the above problem. It has aspects of decentralization, scalability and availability. In the semantic P2P network (VIRGO) for healthcare, the information of healthcare is classified into hierarchical domains. One computer node holds the healthcare information of one domain. The nodes construct the VIRGO network according to the domains of their contents. Therefore, the users (such patients, doctors, hospitals, academic institutes, etc) are involved in the semantic P2P network, and can connect directly in peer to peer ways and share information and knowledge directly. It can discover the complicated healthcare information, users, agents, companies, and so on by SQL-like statements. © 2009 IEEE.

Multiagent plays an important role in various applications. As the Internet becomes prerequisite of human life, large scale Multiagent systems on the Internet become more and more important. However, large scale multiagent systems encounter many big issues such as scalability and inter-operability. This paper presents a different approach of large scale multiagent system based on semantic P2P Network-Virtual Hierarchical Tree Grid Organizations (VIRGO) in mathematic terms. Other than unstructured and DHT-based structured P2P networks, VIRGO keeps the semantic meanings of the nodes according to their roles in the communities. In VIRGO approach, the agents are identified as domain names classified by the semantic meaning of roles in the organizations. The agents construct the VIRGO network by joining the virtual groups with the same names as their domains. We proof by mathematics that in this approach each agent has a path to communicate with any other agent and the performance is effective as maximin hops less than log(N), where N is total number of agents. The performance bottle-neck of treelike topology can be avoided by cache policies. Here, we also introduce a SQL-like language for inter-operation among agents. As an illustration example, cooperative e-Business based on VIRGO in which lots of enterprisers are formed into vertical virtual organizations is described. © 2010 IEEE.

The popularity of wearable devices and smartphones has fueled the development of Mobile Augmented Reality(MAR),which provides immersive experiences over the real world using techniques,such as computer vision and deep ***,the hardware-specific MAR is costly and heavy,and the App-based MAR requires an additional download and installation and it also lacks cross-platform *** limitations hamper the pervasive promotion of *** paper argues that mobile Web AR(MWAR)holds the potential to become a practical and pervasive solution that can effectively scale to millions of end-users because MWAR can be developed as a lightweight,cross-platform,and low-cost solution for end-to-end delivery of *** main challenges for making MWAR a reality lie in the low efficiency for dense computing in Web browsers,a large delay for real-time interactions over mobile networks,and the lack of *** good news is that the newly emerging 5G and Beyond 5G(B5G)cellular networks can mitigate these issues to some extent via techniques such as network slicing,device-to-device communication,and mobile edge *** this paper,we first give an overview of the challenges and opportunities of MWAR in the 5G *** we describe our design and development of a generic service-oriented framework(called MWAR5)to provide a scalable,flexible,and easy to deploy MWAR *** evaluate the performance of our MWAR5 system in an actually deployed 5G trial network under the collaborative configurations,which shows encouraging ***,we also share the experiences and insights from our development and deployment,including some exciting future directions of MWAR over 5G and B5G networks.

When more and more nodes and users are connected in the Internet in the cases of Cloud computing, centralized computing modes will be failed with the limit band width and privacies. P2P technologies may be the future architecture of Cloud computing. This paper introduces a different P2P technology: semantic P2P Network- Virtual Hierarchical Tree Gird Organizations (VIRGO), which can solve the Cloud computing's problems of transparency, scalability, and security. Other than unstructured and DHT-based structured P2P networks, the nodes of VIRGO are identified as domain names classified by the semantic meaning of roles in the organizations. VIRGO is easy to implement transparency as it have a simple global name schema. It also is scalable with log(N). Due to the data are stored in the users' own computers, VIRGO is easy to keep data privacies. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper presents a semantic P2P framework for simulation of quantized virtual society. The quantized virtual society is the virtual society in which things are quantized and the actions to be taken are chosen by scores among the candidate actions. The virtual social persons, which simulate human's actions and responses by computer algorithms, join virtual organizations as similar as real organizations. The nodes which host virtual social persons construct n-tuple overlay virtual hierarchical overlay network(VIRGO) according to the domains of their joined virtual organizations. In this paper, we present the definitions of quantized virtual society and protocols on the top of semantic P2P VIRGO network. © 2010 IEEE.
