This paper presents a framework for Web service domain classification by granular computing. How to classify the Web services is a big issue because of fuzzy knowledge about these Web services. It is reasonable to assume that the Web services have vague boundaries of the domains they are belonged to. Here, we use roughness function measurement based on P-lower, NP-lower and P-upper,NP-upper approximations of P set (properties) to find the most suitable Web services. We also use the hierarchical algorithm to find the suitable Web service effective. The framework for Web service domain classification can be used in Web service discovery based on VIRGO domain classification P2P technologies.

When more and more equipments are connected into Internet such as 3G mobile, and the next generation networks such as 4G mobile will be deployed in the future, uniform resource names as global unified identifications are become important. Uniform resource names identify the things to avoid the conflict names among those huge amounts of objects in the Internet. However, people may want to map more information through the names. Because there are huge amounts of names, how to resolve the names into other information such as locations becomes an important issue. Client/server model can not work well to resolve the names due to traffic load and centralized balance. P2P is considered as an approach to solve the problem. In this paper, we propose a VIRGO-based P2P solution, in which the peers (registries) are virtually grouped by namespaces of uniform resource names. They construct n-tuple overlay virtual hierarchical tree overlay network according to their namespaces. With cached addresses of peers, the overload of traffic in tree structure can be avoided. This proposal supports flexible resolutions by a SQL-like query statement.

Multiagent plays an important role in various applications. As the Internet becomes prerequisite of human life, large scale Multiagent systems on the Internet become more and more important However, large scale multiagent systems encounter many big issues such as scalability and inter-operability. This paper presents a different approach of large scale multiagent system based on semantic P2P Network-Virtual Hierarchical Tree Grid Organizations (VIRGO) in mathematic terms. Other than unstructured and DHT-based structured P2P networks, VIRGO keeps the semantic meanings of the nodes according to their roles in the communities. In VIRGO approach, the agents are identified as domain names classified by the semantic meaning of roles in the organizations. The agents construct the VIRGO network by joining the virtual groups with the same names as their domains. We proof by mathematics that in this approach each agent has a path to communicate with any other agent and the performance is effective as maximin hops less than log(N), where N is total number of agents. The performance bottle-neck of treelike topology can be avoided by cache policies. Here, we also introduce a SQL-like language for inter-operation among agents. As an illustration example, cooperative e-Business based on VIRGO in which lots of enterprisers are formed into vertical virtual organizations is described.

This paper presents a semantic P2P framework for simulation of quantized virtual society. The quantized virtual society is the virtual society in which things are quantized and the actions to be taken are chosen by scores among the candidate actions. The virtual social persons, which simulate human's actions and responses by computer algorithms, join virtual organizations as similar as real organizations. The nodes which host virtual social persons construct n-tuple overlay virtual hierarchical overlay network(VIRGO) according to the domains of their joined virtual organizations. In this paper, we present the definitions of quantized virtual society and protocols on the top of semantic P2P VIRGO network.

This paper presents a novel model for emotional virtual social persons in Mobile friend-mate social networks. Unlike traditional friend-mate social networks in centralized data centers, this approach uses semantic P2P network technologies. The mobile phones as P2P nodes host the agents for virtual emotional social persons which simulate human's actions and responses by computer algorithms, not only based on intelligence, but also on emotion like human being. The agents for emotional virtual social persons collect their own information such as sex, birthday, astrology, Enneagram, blood type, hobby, health and attributes of his six senses, etc., and arouse emotional actions based on this information. The model keeps the privacy information only in the person's own mobile phone, which can avoid leaking the privacy information. The emotional agents for emotional virtual social persons join the virtual hierarchical tree networks (VIRGO) according to their roles or their interesting domains. And the agents can simulate general emotional reactions by emotional commands via the messages communications. We also discuss the model to mate the most successful friends based on the above information.

When more and more nodes and users are connected in the Internet in the cases of Cloud computing, centralized computing modes will be failed with the limit band width and privacies. P2P technologies may be the future architecture of Cloud computing. This paper introduces a different P2P technology: semantic P2P Network -- Virtual Hierarchical Tree Gird Organizations (VIRGO), which can solve the Cloud computing's problems of transparency, scalability, and security. Other than unstructured and DHT-based structured P2P networks, the nodes of VIRGO are identified as domain names classified by the semantic meaning of roles in the organizations. VIRGO is easy to implement transparency as it have a simple global name schema. It also is scalable with log(N). Due to the data are stored in the users' own computers, VIRGO is easy to keep data privacies.

With the fast increases in the size of the scientific data, the visualization technique has been widely adopted to transform the information into an easy-to-understand representation. Since the security clearance and access rights of the end users may vary greatly in a scientific visualization system, the security mechanisms must be properly designed and deployed. In this paper, we present a key management and update approach for online visualization of atmospheric nucleation. The users are divided into multiple groups and the personal secrets are determined by combining the user identities and polynomials. The personal secrets support both user authentication and visualization result encryption. We also describe the stateless key update mechanism. The proposed approach has been integrated with our visualization system and tested with real scientific data. © 2010 IEEE.

There are the trends that the users hope to retrieve information among lots of individual database systems distributed in lots of virtual organizations. To connect all these individual database systems into a virtual database system is a significant issue. This paper presents VIRGO_DDBMS, a framework of distributed database system based on virtual hierarchical tree Grid organizationsfVIRGO) P2P network. The table space are classified as hierarchical domains like DNS. The servers hosting database systems joins several groups of VIRGO network according to the owned tables' domains. VIRGO_DDBMS is effective for data update and retrieve by using distributed SQL statements. We use the policies which cache the host machines' addresses of database systems to avoid the overload of traffic of root nodes in tree structure. The proposal presented here can construct a virtual distributed database system which can manages huge volumes of data by connecting all database systems together which are owned by the individual virtual organizations.
