ScanDTM: A Novel Dual-Temporal Modulation Scanpath Prediction Model for Omnidirectional Images

Scanpath prediction for omnidirectional images aims to effectively simulate the human visual perception mechanism to generate dynamic realistic fixation trajectories. However, the majority of scanpath prediction methods for omnidirectional images are still in their infancy as they fail to accurately capture the time-dependency of viewing behavior and suffer from sub-optimal performance along with limited generalization capability. A desirable solution should achieve a better trade-off between prediction performance and generalization ability. To this end, we propose a novel dual-temporal modulation scanpath prediction (ScanDTM) model for omnidirectional images. Such a model is designed to effectively capture long-range time-dependencies between various fixation regions across both internal and external time dimensions, thereby generating more realistic scanpaths. In particular, we design a Dual Graph Convolutional network (Dual-GCN) module comprising a semantic-level GCN and an image-level GCN. This module servers as a robust visual encoder that captures spatial relationships among various object regions within an image and fully utilizes similar images as complementary information to capture similarity relations across relevant images. Notably, the proposed Dual-GCN focuses on modeling temporal correlations from both local and global perspectives within the internal time dimension. Furthermore, drawing inspiration from the promising generalization capabilities of diffusion models across various generative tasks, we introduce a novel diffusion-guided saliency module. This module formulates the prediction issue as a conditional generative process for the saliency map, utilizing extracted semantic-level and image-level visual features as conditions. With the well-designed diffusion-guided saliency module, our proposed ScanDTM model acting as an external temporal modulator, we can progressively refine the generated scanpath from the noisy map. Semantic-Aware Pseudo-labeling for Unsupervised Meta-Learning

In unsupervised meta-learning, the clustering-based pseudo-labeling approach is an attractive framework, since it is model-agnostic, allowing it to synergize with supervised algorithms to learn from unlabeled data. However, the pseudo-labels suffer from clustering noise and semantic chaos problems, further impacting the effectiveness of meta-learning. In this paper, we analyze and optimize the pseudo-labeling process, including encoding and clustering, aiming to generate semantic- like pseudo-labels to narrow the gap between unsupervised and supervised meta-learning. Firstly, during the encoding, we observe that the embedding space of existing methods lacks clustering-friendly properties, which is the primary reason for clustering noise. To address this issue, we minimize the inter-to-intra-class similarity ratio to generate clustering-friendly embedding features and validate our approach through comprehensive experiments. Then, during the clustering, we find that the semantic quality of pseudo-labels is not adequately controlled, resulting in semantic chaos of pseudo-labels. We propose a semantic-stability index to measure the semantic quality of pseudo-labels quantitatively. Based on this index, we propose the Semantic-aware Pseudo-label Reassignment mechanism to generate semantic- like pseudo-labels for all samples. Our approach is model-agnostic and can easily be integrated into existing supervised methods. To demonstrate its generalization ability, we integrate it into two representative algorithms: MAML and EP. The results on three main few-shot benchmarks clearly show that the proposed method achieves significant improvement compared to state-of-the-art models. Notably, our approach also outperforms the corresponding supervised method in three tasks. The source code will be made publicly available. ©1979-2012 IEEE.

Focusing on the problem that the co-frequency interference of the downlink channels in multi-cell of multi-out multi-input (MIMO) systems, this paper used the adaptive network precoding based on the SJNR to reduce the inter-cell interference. First of all, the adaptive precoding design based on the SJNR criteria is given. In this design, each base station use independent precoding approach to suppress adjacent inter-cell interference. And then in order to decrease the handing complex by the active way, the adaptive network precoding is attained respectively in the urban and suburb area environments, two adaptive network precoding based on SJNR are obtained respectively. Simulation results show that the inter-cell interference was obviously restrained and the system performance was improved after using the active network precoding basing on the SJNR, but also reduced processing algorithms of system. © 2010 IEEE.

Uplink control information (UCI) and discontinuous reception (DRX) play important roles for massive machine type communication (mMTC). Despite their standalone significance, a conspicuous gap exists in comprehensively exploring the synergy between UCI and DRX concerning both energy conservation and latency reduction for mMTC. In this letter, we propose a UCI-based clustered access and DRX management (UCADM) scheme that strikes a balance between these two critical performance metrics, reducing energy usage while preserving low latency in uplink-downlink interaction for mMTC. Specifically, we present a strictly feasible solution for the proposed UCADM scheme by using the spectral radius and the constraint projection, which can effectively solve DRX switching operations as indicated by scheduling information from UCI. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of our scheme. © 1997-2012 IEEE.

A new two-user cognitive radio channel model with partial knowledge of the primary messages at the cognitive transmitter is proposed in this paper. It is the combination of the interweave channel and the interference channel. The new channel model has two advantages. First, by introducing the switch concept, the spectrum sensing is combined to the channel model. Second, by introducing the compression theory, the cognitive transmitter (Tx1) can sense the partial knowledge of messages that is sent by the primary's transmitter (Tx2) to its corresponding receiver through a compression channel. Based on this new channel, the channel capacity is analyzed and calculated. Finally, simulation results illustrate the validity of the new channel model and the advantage of its capacity. ©2009 IEEE.

This paper designs a new precoding for an OFDM system without cyclic prefix (CP), to achieve the same function with CP used in CP-OFDM system. After the analysis of CPOFDM system, this paper constructs a modulation matrix;on this basis, introduces memory characteristics, as well as symbols feedback, and designs a time domain precoding (TDP) module. By adding the TDP module into TD-LTE link, its bit error ratio (BER) performance decreases slightly, compared to the CP system;however, due to the new system, it does not need to send CP signals;therefore, it eliminates redundancy, so the bandwidth efficiency increases. © 2010 IEEE.

Cognitive radio is viewed as a novel approach for improving the utilization of radio frequency spectrum greatly by intelligently search and utilize free spectrum not used by licensed user. Dynamic spectrum allocation technology is one of the key technologies in realization of cognitive radio. In this paper we propose a new algorithm for spectrum sharing which considering historical allocation information of secondary user. Simulation results indicate this historical-information-based algorithm can achieve greater performance in sum bandwidth and fairness compared to the original algorithm.

T-QoS-aware based parallel ant colony algorithm for services composition

In order to make cloud users get credible, high-quality composition of services, the trust quality of service aware(TQoS-aware) based parallel ant colony algorithm is proposed. Our approach takes the service credibility as the weight of the quality of service, then calculates the trust service quality T-QoS for each service, making the service composition situated in a credible environment. Through the establishment on a per-service T-QoS initialization pheromone matrix, we can reduce the colony’s initial search time. By modifying the pheromone updating rules and introducing two ant colonies to search from different angles in parallel,we can avoid falling into the local optimal solution, and quickly find the optimal combination of global solutions. Experiments show that our approach can combine high-quality services and the improvement of the operational success rate. Also, the convergence rate and the accuracy of optimal combination are improved.

Due to a rapid increase in the number of functionally equivalent web services at open and dynamic Io T service environment,Qo S has become a major discrimination factor to reflect the user's expectation and experience of using a *** are different languages and models for expressing Qo S advertisements and requirements among service providers and ***,it leads to the issues of semantic interoperability of Qo S information and semantic similarity match between a semantic description of the service being requested by the service consumer,and a formal description of the service being offered by the service *** this paper,we propose a hierarchical two-layer semantic Qo S ontology to promote the description and declaration of Qo S-based service information in detail for any domain and ***,we develop a semantic matchmaking algorithm to compare the web services according to their Qo S information and adopt analytical hierarchy process( AHP) to make decision for the ranked services depending on the Qo S *** comparison study and experimental result show that our proposed system is superior to other service ranking approaches.

Interactive Evolutionary Multi-Objective Optimization Algorithm Using Cone Dominance

As the number of objectives increases,the performance of the Pareto dominance-based Evolutionary Multi-objective Optimization( EMO) algorithms such as NSGA-II,SPEA2 severely deteriorates due to the drastic increase in the Pareto-incomparable solutions. We propose a sorting method which classifies these incomparable solutions into several ordered classes by using the decision maker's( DM) preference *** is accomplished by designing an interactive evolutionary algorithm and constructing convex cones. This method allows the DMs to drive the search process toward a preferred region of the Pareto optimal front. The performance of the proposed algorithm is assessed for two,three,and four-objective knapsack problems. The results demonstrate the algorithm ' s ability to converge to the most preferred point. The evaluation and comparison of the results indicate that the proposed approach gives better solutions than that of NSGA-II. In addition,the approach is more efficient compared to NSGA-II in terms of the number of generations required to reach the preferred point.
