Cross-Site Scripting(XSS)remains a significant threat to web application security,exploiting vulnerabilities to hijack user sessions and steal sensitive *** detection methods often fail to keep pace with the evolving sophistication of cyber *** paper introduces a novel hybrid ensemble learning framework that leverages a combination of advanced machine learning algorithms—Logistic Regression(LR),Support Vector Machines(SVM),eXtreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost),Categorical Boosting(CatBoost),and Deep Neural Networks(DNN).Utilizing the XSS-Attacks-2021 dataset,which comprises 460 instances across various real-world trafficrelated scenarios,this framework significantly enhances XSS attack *** approach,which includes rigorous feature engineering and model tuning,not only optimizes accuracy but also effectively minimizes false positives(FP)(0.13%)and false negatives(FN)(0.19%).This comprehensive methodology has been rigorously validated,achieving an unprecedented accuracy of 99.87%.The proposed system is scalable and efficient,capable of adapting to the increasing number of web applications and user demands without a decline in *** demonstrates exceptional real-time capabilities,with the ability to detect XSS attacks dynamically,maintaining high accuracy and low latency even under significant ***,despite the computational complexity introduced by the hybrid ensemble approach,strategic use of parallel processing and algorithm tuning ensures that the system remains scalable and performs robustly in real-time *** for easy integration with existing web security systems,our framework supports adaptable Application Programming Interfaces(APIs)and a modular design,facilitating seamless augmentation of current *** innovation represents a significant advancement in cybersecurity,offering a scalable and effective solution for securing modern web applications against evolving threats.

To prevent irreversible damage to one’s eyesight,ocular diseases(ODs)need to be recognized and treated *** fundus imaging(CFI)is a screening technology that is both effective and *** to CFIs,the early stages of the disease are characterized by a paucity of observable symptoms,which necessitates the prompt creation of automated and robust diagnostic *** traditional research focuses on image-level diagnostics that attend to the left and right eyes in isolation without making use of pertinent correlation data between the two sets of *** addition,they usually only target one or a few different kinds of eye diseases at the same *** this study,we design a patient-level multi-label OD(PLML_ODs)classification model that is based on a spatial correlation network(SCNet).This model takes into consideration the relevance of patient-level diagnosis combining bilateral eyes and multi-label ODs ***_ODs is made up of three parts:a backbone convolutional neural network(CNN)for feature extraction i.e.,DenseNet-169,a SCNet for feature correlation,and a classifier for the development of classification *** DenseNet-169 is responsible for retrieving two separate sets of attributes,one from each of the left and right *** then,the SCNet will record the correlations between the two feature sets on a pixel-by-pixel *** the attributes have been analyzed,they are integrated to provide a representation at the patient *** the whole process of ODs categorization,the patient-level representation will be *** efficacy of the PLML_ODs is examined using a soft margin loss on a dataset that is readily accessible to the public,and the results reveal that the classification performance is significantly improved when compared to several baseline approaches.

Robust steganographic approach using generative adversarial network and compressive autoencoder

Nowadays, social media applications and websites have become a crucial part of people’s lives;for sharing their moments, contacting their families and friends, or even for their jobs. However, the fact that these valuable data are transferred via the Internet and open channels, which are vulnerable to attacks and espionage, requires using defense methods to improve the security of data transmission. Recently, the progress of Deep Learning (DL) inspired researchers to use it with security methods such as steganography, the art of hiding secret data in unrelated content. DL and steganography combined enhanced the hiding properties, especially in the Coverless Image Steganography (CIS) methods. In this paper, we propose a Compressive Coverless Image Steganography (CCIS) model, which is a generated-based CIS, to improve the capacity and robustness of Steganography. This model uses the compressive autoencoder to compress the message, thus increasing the capacity, and uses the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) to generate a stego image from the compressed vector, thus enhancing concealment ability, besides using a regression model and optimization method to extract the data. Another version was designed to enable sending binary messages by replacing the compressive autoencoder network with a robust mapping rule. Experiments show that the proposed model could improve the characteristics of Steganography. Furthermore, the proposed model could extract binary messages with 256 bits from attacked stego images with 99% recovery accuracy. Predicting water quality is essential to preserving human health and environmental sustainability. Traditional water quality assessment methods often face scalability and real-time monitoring limitations. With accuracies of 62%, 72%, 83%, 69%, 63%, 66%, 71%, 63%, and 64%, respectively, the current techniques utilized were Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest Regressor, Extreme Gradient Boosting, Naive Bayes, K-nearest neighbors, Support Vector Machine, AdaBoost, and Bagging [9]. This study addresses these challenges by leveraging Adaptive Synthetic Sampling (ADASYN) to balance the dataset and evaluating model performance on datasets of 5,000 and 10,000 entries per class. A robust dataset obtained from Kaggle was used, with five models – Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN), Categorical Boosting (CatBoost), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and Random Forest – evaluated and compared. The proposed methods demonstrate significant improvements in accuracy, with XGBoost achieving the highest accuracy of 95.53%, followed by Random Forest at 93.98%. This work underscores the importance of advanced machine learning techniques in addressing the limitations of traditional methods, enhancing accuracy, scalability, and adaptability in water quality prediction. These findings contribute to advancing environmental monitoring and management practices with reliable, data-driven insights. © 2025 IEEE.

Tomato leaf diseases significantly impact crop production,necessitating early detection for sustainable *** Learning(DL)has recently shown excellent results in identifying and classifying tomato leaf ***,current DL methods often require substantial computational resources,hindering their application on resource-constrained *** propose the Deep Tomato Detection Network(DTomatoDNet),a lightweight DL-based framework comprising 19 learnable layers for efficient tomato leaf disease classification to overcome *** Convn kernels used in the proposed(DTomatoDNet)framework is 1×1,which reduces the number of parameters and helps in more detailed and descriptive feature extraction for *** proposed DTomatoDNet model is trained from scratch to determine the classification success rate.10,000 tomato leaf images(1000 images per class)from the publicly accessible dataset,covering one healthy category and nine disease categories,are utilized in training the proposed DTomatoDNet *** specifically,we classified tomato leaf images into Target Spot(TS),Early Blight(EB),Late Blight(LB),Bacterial Spot(BS),Leaf Mold(LM),Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus(YLCV),Septoria Leaf Spot(SLS),Spider Mites(SM),Tomato Mosaic Virus(MV),and Tomato Healthy(H).The proposed DTomatoDNet approach obtains a classification accuracy of 99.34%,demonstrating excellent accuracy in differentiating between tomato *** model could be used on mobile platforms because it is lightweight and designed with fewer *** farmers can utilize the proposed DTomatoDNet methodology to detect disease more quickly and easily once it has been integrated into mobile platforms by developing a mobile application.

Suicide risk assessment using word-level model with dictionary-based risky posts selection

Suicide is a serious issue around the world and is a leading cause of death in US. In the past 20 years, the suicide rate has seen a significant increase of 35%. With the rapid development of information technology, more and more people begin to use social media to share their inner feelings. It enables social media data to be widely used for research on suicide risk assessment. However, not all social media posts are suicide related. Previous research addressed this problem with post-level attention mechanism. However, post-level attention mechanism may not find relevant suicide posts. This problem becomes more serious in the feature-based post embeddings since each post is converted into a single vector to serve as the input of the model, resulting in the loss of word-level information during training. In this paper, we addressed this problem by introducing a novel word-level model including a post-selectin layer as a solution. Firstly, we utilize a suicide keyword dictionary to identify risky posts that may be missed by the post-level attention mechanism. We then convert the words in the risky posts into word embeddings and use self-attention to generate the post embeddings for the risky posts. Finally, we pass the post embeddings to a multilayer perceptron to classify the suicide risk. We also demonstrate that the FScore used in previous studies can be reduced to a function of accuracy, which does not reflect the model performance in predicting imbalanced datasets. Therefore, we additionally adopt macro F1 score as the evaluation function. Experiment results show that our model not only outperforms previous studies in FScore performance, but also achieves macro F1 Score a nearly 4% improvement compared to previous studies. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2023.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) significantly impacts a child's ability to navigate social interactions, regulate emotions, and develop adaptive skills crucial for daily functioning. While various interventions exist to address cognitive and academic skills, the development of soft skills such as communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and creativity remains an under explored area. This paper builds upon the foundational work of the Mind Champ platform, which originally targeted both learning and soft skills, by focusing exclusively on enhancing the soft skills development of autistic children. This enhanced version of the Mind Champ platform leverages advanced behavioral and emotional analysis techniques to offer a comprehensive technological solution. Through interactive activities centered on painting and music, the platform creates a structured, engaging, and supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of children with ASD. By prioritizing emotional engagement and creative expression, the platform empowers children to improve their social abilities, emotional regulation, and adaptability. The results from our continued research indicate that these technology-driven interventions contribute significantly to the holistic development of soft skills in autistic children, providing them with valuable tools to navigate social environments more effectively. © 2024 IEEE.
