Nowadays,the security of images or information is very *** paper introduces a proposed hybrid watermarking and encryption technique for increasing medical image ***,the secret medical image is encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)***,the secret report of the patient is embedded into the encrypted secret medical image with the Least Signiﬁcant Bit(LSB)watermarking *** that,the encrypted secret medical image with the secret report is concealed in a cover medical image,using Kekre’s Median Codebook Generation(KMCG)***,the stego-image obtained is split into 16 ***,it is sent to the *** adopt this strategy to send the secret medical image and report over a network *** proposed technique is assessed with different encryption quality metrics including Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR),Correlation Coefﬁcient(Cr),Fea-ture Similarity Index Metric(FSIM),and Structural Similarity Index Metric(SSIM).Histogram estimation is used to conﬁrm the matching between the secret medical image before and after *** results demonstrate that the proposed technique achieves good performance with high quality of the received medical image and clear image details in a very short processing time.

Watermarking of digital images is required in diversified applicationsranging from medical imaging to commercial images used over the ***, the copyright information is embossed over the image in the form ofa logo at the corner or diagonal text in the background. However, this formof visible watermarking is not suitable for a large class of applications. In allsuch cases, a hidden watermark is embedded inside the original image as proofof ownership. A large number of techniques and algorithms are proposedby researchers for invisible watermarking. In this paper, we focus on issuesthat are critical for security aspects in the most common domains like digitalphotography copyrighting, online image stores, etc. The requirements of thisclass of application include robustness (resistance to attack), blindness (directextraction without original image), high embedding capacity, high Peak Signalto Noise Ratio (PSNR), and high Structural Similarity Matrix (SSIM). Mostof these requirements are conflicting, which means that an attempt to maximizeone requirement harms the other. In this paper, a blind type of imagewatermarking scheme is proposed using Lifting Wavelet Transform (LWT)as the baseline. Using this technique, custom binary watermarks in the formof a binary string can be embedded. Hu’s Invariant moments’ coefficientsare used as a key to extract the watermark. A Stochastic variant of theFirefly algorithm (FA) is used for the optimization of the technique. Undera prespecified size of embedding data, high PSNR and SSIM are obtainedusing the Stochastic Gradient variant of the Firefly technique. The simulationis done using Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) tool and it is shown that theproposed technique outperforms the benchmark techniques of watermarkingconsidering PSNR and SSIM as quality metrics.

In-class teaching not only concentrates on lecture content delivery but also on maintaining strong mutuality between lecturer-students and student-student. Online lectures are gaining popularity due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the learning-teaching process has become ineffective because existing video conferencing solutions are not intended for academic purposes. This research was conducted to identify the pain points of online education and develop an enhanced software solution. A user survey confirmed that an isolated environment tends to diminish attentiveness during online lectures. Also, it is difficult for teachers to observe the attentiveness of all the students. As a solution, student attentiveness was measured using their facial expressions and collected data shown to lecturers through a virtual student behavioural environment. The physical separation causes students to feel isolated during lectures, which can negatively affect their academic development and social and psychological development. The developed application also provides a virtual group study environment as a feature. According to the results gathered in the user acceptance testing phase, it was found that the attention detection feature helps students keep their attention at a significant level. Further, 9 out of 10 teachers who participated in the testing acknowledged that the simulated student behavioural view could provide a more immersive experience. 71% of students preferred the new collaborative virtual environment, and students further elaborated that the virtual environment was more likely the physical group studies. 72% of students mentioned that the collaborative group study tool helped eliminate isolation during group studies. © 2022 IEEE.

Image Caption generation is one of the challenging tasks in the field of artificial intelligence. It is used to generate a textual description for a given picture. But due to, the recent advancement in deep learning techniques requires only one single end-to-end model to create a caption for the given image. This paper is intended to provide an image caption and speech generator used to generate a single-line description for a given image and audio/speech for the report generated. The researchers used a sophisticated pipeline of specifically designed models in the previous models. To achieve the proposed model, VGG16 and LSTM models are used to obtain descriptions for the image and GTTS API is used for the audio/speech generation. © 2023 IEEE.

This research presents a novel assistive technology system designed to empower visually impaired individuals by providing enhanced object, facial, and distance detection capabilities. Deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have facilitated remarkable success in recognizing various food items and agricultural stress. A decent performance boost has been witnessed in solving the agro-food challenges by mining and analyzing region-based partial feature descriptors. Also, computationally expensive ensemble learning schemes fusing multiple CNNs have been studied in earlier works. This work proposes a region attention scheme for modeling long-range dependencies by building a correlation among different regions within an input image. The attention method enhances feature representation by learning the usefulness of context information from complementary regions. Spatial pyramidal pooling and average pooling pairs aggregate partial descriptors into a holistic representation. Both pooling methods establish spatial and channelwise relationships without incurring extra parameters. A context gating scheme is applied to refine the descriptiveness of weighted attentional features, which is relevant for classification. The proposed region attention network for food items and agricultural stress recognition method, dubbed RAFA-Net, has been experimented on three public food datasets, and has achieved state-of-the-art performances with distinct margins. The highest top-1 accuracy of RAFA-Net is 91.69%, 91.56%, and 96.97% on the UECFood-100, UECFood-256, and MAFood-121 datasets, respectively. In addition, better accuracies have been achieved on two benchmark agricultural stress datasets. The best top-1 accuracies on the Insect Pest (IP-102) and PlantDoc-27 plant disease datasets are 92.36%, and 85.54%, respectively;implying RAFA-Net's generalization capability. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) produces massive amounts of data that need to be processed and saved securely. The strong features of Blockchain makes it as a best candidate for storing the data received from IoT sensors. However, there is a need of concern to take care of the challenges associated with both IoT and blockchain paradigms. Firstly, the enormous amount of data should be effortlessly handled by Blockchain network, without adding much complexity. Secondly, the heterogeneous nature of data that are received from various IoT Sensors should be stored within the blockchain. In this paper, a conceptual framework based on Multimodal Machine Learning (MML) algorithm is proposed as an interface between the IoT sensors and Blockchain networks. The MML algorithm is used to understand the different modalities of the data and provides a way to manage the heterogeneity in that data. The MML algorithms provides an intelligent data processing that allows for real-time data storage in the blockchain networks. The conceptual frame assumes that audio, video, and text are the three types of data as received from IoT. These inputs are processed in simplistic Recurrent neural network RNN that acts as MML and then passed to Blockchain networks for secure storage. Simulation of the above said conceptual framework is performed assuming all other relevant requirements of IoT, MML and Blockchain are taken into account with default parameters and values. The results obtained provide a promising note for future scope in this direction. © 2024 IEEE.
