Efficient factored gradient descent algorithm for quantum state tomography

Reconstructing the state of quantum many-body systems is of fundamental importance in quantum information tasks, but extremely challenging due to the curse of dimensionality. In this work, we present an efficient quantum tomography protocol that combines the state-factored with eigenvalue mapping to address the rank-deficient issue and incorporates a momentum-accelerated gradient descent algorithm to speed up the optimization process. We implement extensive numerical experiments to demonstrate that our factored gradient descent algorithm efficiently mitigates the rank-deficient problem and admits orders of magnitude better tomography accuracy and faster convergence. We also find that our method can accomplish the full-state tomography of random 11-qubit mixed states within one minute.

Child safety and well-being in daycare settings are important, thus it is vital that the persons in charge be attentive to them. This research tries to solve the problem by introducing a smart and detailed monitoring system that utilizes new technology to enhance safety and support caretakers. The system has various innovative features, such as child missing detection, behavior and facial expression analysis, cry analysis and categorization, and fall detection. Using high-resolution cameras and on-device Edge AI capabilities, it ensures real-time surveillance of children's activities while protecting privacy. The approach integrates behavior and facial expression analysis to assess emotional states, cry recognition to discover childcare needs, as well as a useful fall detection system that can tell the difference between falls and other movements. All these parts synergize to hand over the necessary information to the caregivers on time and in a way that they can act upon. The quantitative experiments in real-time childcare centers show high accuracy through all the components, attesting to the system's reliability and durability. This research has important significance in improving the safety and the frequency response in daycare centers because it gives caregivers automated tools to quickly address the needs of children. While promising, the system has drawbacks, such as potential biases in data models and a reliance on ideal environmental circumstances. Future work intends to improve flexibility across varied daycare situations, improve accuracy through larger datasets, and investigate ethical frameworks for wider application.

The current article communicates a numerical investigation on laminar flow of dissipative generalized Newtonian Carreau nanofluid flowing through vertical conduit with converging and diverging plane *** and concentration characteristics due to enthalpy change,activation energy,and non-linear thermal radiation have been examined in the presence of buoyancy *** channel walls for both temperature and volumetric fraction are assumed to be *** instability mechanism of nanofluids is reported using a two-phase nanofluid model,which works reasonably well for nanoparticle concentrations below a certain threshold.A Jeffery-Hamel(J-H)flow model is developed by assuming an incompressible purely radial flow of Carreau nanofluids with heat and mass *** the suitable non-dimensional variables,the resulting nonlinear partial differential equations are turned into a system of ordinary differential *** modified governing equations are then numerically solved using the built-in boundary value problem solver bvp4c,on the template form of commercial software *** impacts of material,geometrical and thermophysical parameters governing the J-H problem are discussed and *** indicate that higher buoyance forces incline the velocity profiles in converging enclosure,while a slight reduction is perceived in opposing forces.A significant decrease of wall heat transmission is reflected for larger values of activation energy and radiation *** endorsing this communication,a comparison analysis is established with existing research and noticed a remarkable ***,the flow inside converging and diverging channels are deployed in nuclear reactors that use plate-type nuclear energies,high heat-flux condensed heat exchangers,high-performance micro-electronic cooling systems,jets,rockets nozzles,and jet propulsion inlet.

Educational operating systems are crucial for facilitating learning in the digital age, as they exist at the intersection of technology and education. While their technical role is well understood, improving their educational value requires enhancing traditional approaches. computer vision has been used in many areas such as medical, transportation, military, geography, etc. The fast development of sensor devices inside camera and satellite provides not only red-greed-blue (RGB) images but also multispectral dataset with some channels including RGB, infrared, short-wave, and thermal wave. Most of the dataset is panchromatic (black and white) and RGB, for example Google Map and other satellite-based map applications. This study examines the effects of multispectral dataset for semantic segmentation of land cover. The comparison between RGB with band 2 to band 7 of Landsat 8 Satellite shows an improvement of accuracy from 90.283 to 94.473 for U-Net and from 91.76 to 95.183 for DeepLabV3+. In addition, this research also compares two well-known semantic segmentation methods, namely U-Net and DeepLabV3+, that shown that DeepLabV3+ outperformed U-Net regarding to speed and accuracy. Testing was conducted in the Karawang Regency area, West Java, Indonesia. © 2023 IEEE.

The complex landscape of multi-cloud settings is the result of the fast growth of cloud computing and the ever-changing needs of contemporary organizations. Strong cyber defenses are of fundamental importance in this setting. In this study, we investigate the use of AI in hybrid cloud settings for the purpose of multi-cloud security management. To help businesses improve their productivity and resilience, we provide a mathematical model for optimal resource allocation. Our methodology streamlines dynamic threat assessments, making it easier for security teams to efficiently priorities vulnerabilities. The advent of a new age of real-time threat response is heralded by the incorporation of AI-driven security tactics. The technique we use has real-world implications that may help businesses stay ahead of constantly changing threats. In the future, scientists will focus on autonomous security systems, interoperability, ethics, interoperability, and cutting-edge AI models that have been validated in the real world. This study provides a detailed road map for businesses to follow as they navigate the complex cybersecurity landscape of multi-cloud settings, therefore promoting resilience and agility in this era of digital transformation. © 2023 IEEE.

Learning disabilties are frequently overlooked while treating various limitations. The primary causes for such a dropout might be a lack of awareness of the risks and access to adequate medical care. Because Learning Disabilities are neurological illnesses, their etiology is unknown. Learning Disabilities do not have a therapy or a cure. Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia are the most common types of Learning Dis-abilities among school children. There are numerous approaches for diagnosing and treating this ailment available today. The optimal method is to make use of a mobile application. Existing applications either do not adequately handle the problem or have minor limitations in terms of meeting genuine expectations. We can mitigate this dysfunction by utilizing mobile and simulation-based technologies. Furthermore, earlier research has not given contact and curiosity among children a significant emphasis and children have not interacted with robots. Therefore, this paper, introduces interactive and collaborative mobile appli-cation called 'Helply' with a robotic based simulation that may foster learning and help children improve and encour-age Color identification skills, Reading skills and Short-term memory skills the learning process while reducing their other dyslexic disorders. Also, NAO Robot is used to taking inputs as voice clip using voice recognition technology and images using image processing technology which embedded in NAO robot. We constructed three models for three distinct disorders and obtained accurate findings. CNN model for colour disorder had a training accuracy of 93%, FFNN model for short-term memory disorder had a training accuracy of 98%, and CNN model for reading disorder had a training accuracy of 94%. © 2022 IEEE.

With technological improvements in the restaurant industry, competition is fierce, and a restaurant's success depends on providing excellent and luxury customer satisfaction. The food industry has had to continuously advance with technology in order to adequately satisfy the wants of people leading increasingly luxurious lives. While some restaurants still rely on manpower, the majority are eager to advance with technology in order to improve the standard of their offerings and enhance their customers' experiences. In order to optimize customer satisfaction and experience, this research project intends to investigate the potential of intelligence in the restaurant business. This research has explored intelligent systems such as digital self-service menus for ordering food, augmented reality (AR) visualization systems for customers, the observation of chefs in the kitchen, and the usage of robots to serve meals. This research paper analyzes the advantages of automating restaurant operations and how to do so to enhance customer satisfaction. Overall, this study has the potential to transform the restaurant industry and increase customer satisfaction.

The increasing use of the Internet of Things (IoT), which has resulted in an exponential growth in network traffic, has serious implications on energy consumption and network performance. To reduce power consumption in cloud data centers, a server vacation-based energy-efficient traffic management solution is recommended. The primary idea is that using software-defined network (SDN) technologies, cloud system virtual machines (VMs) can take vacations. The goal of the energy-saving optimization task is to reduce the number of virtual machines (VMs) in use while maintaining service quality standards. This research study focuses on impatient client behaviour, several vacations, limited buffer and queuing system with many servers. Impatient customers may be kept in the cloud system by implementing certain customer retention strategies. The steady-state probability for the proposed SDN-assisted cloud system have been determined using recurrences. To determine the efficiency of the proposed system, several performance studies are conducted. © 2023 IEEE.
